Need an address of warranty claim

I'm trying to find an email address to send my complaint for words being forced to buy backup software for my laptop 10 week old defective.

They didn't know that there is no hardware problem, so I need to buy the software don't spend hours trying to install it myself many phone calls finally to return and get a hardware problem solved.

As it was not the problem, feel cheated on 30 lbs off.

Usually, contact the Toshiba authorised service provider available in your country if you have hardware with the laptop problems!

Problems of software, the warranty doesn't cover the repair procedure. Even the new system installation isn't covered by the warranty.

I guess recommended Toshiba support allows you to define the notebook back to factory settings using the recovery disk or recovery disk HARD just to check if the question seems such system factory pre-configured.
Am I wrong?

Usually, you don t need to buy the recovery disk in case you created this support in the past. If the HARD drive has not changed in the past, you should be able also to perform HARD drive recovery procedure (without using a recovery disk).

In case you have not created the recovery disc, you are able to order the recovery media, but you will pay round about 30

    as you said that your laptop is stolen. and you need to address mack of it.

    Well now it's hard to get it... you can contact your support just tell them your serila manufacturer didn't and model of your laptop... and asked for help. and also report the theft of your laptop. Also put a compalaint of police before calling the customer so that you can give refrence of that also.

    you need address Mack Lan and WAN Mack... because your laptop's Lan and wan adapters ethernet integrated.

If you had connected your laptop to any device wifi via Lan or wan port in the networks of your home or office... and then you can find the address mack from your computer to your router. Some routers store the logs inside the router as well as the address of mack, your user name and ip assigned to the laptop computer or router via DHCP.

    If you have connected your laptop in public any office or any wifi zone, then you can ask them on your address mack...

    Also add your serial number mobile no and mack address in your city, State, or national database of auto theft.

    I have had no communication by electronic mail after the acceptance with a case REF.

    You know, this is user forum and it is not easy to discuss these issues. Each of us can post opinions and describe specific experiences, but, as far as I know, there are rules, how it works with service and warranty. I think Toshiba ASP is required to offer a detailed explanation to customers.

    To be honest it is unclear to me how it works with the data protection and data recovery in case the HARD disk is defective.
    Do you still have the slip that you got with your HARD drive? I have three years old Toshiba HDD but I did so I can't check what's written there.

  • Need help with a warranty issue, but can't take the computer back to the shop

    I have the following problem:
    I'm a backpacker and bought a Toshiba A660/15j someone in Adelaide. I have the original receipt and the laptop is still under warranty.
    Now 2 issues have been raised. First of all, I sometimes get a message that my system runs too hot and that I should stop the computer immediately and return to the service. When I open the monitor health all values are good and the system does not display any overheating (nor does it feel too hot). The second thing is that about two weeks ago, the battery started to empty real quick. When I now fully recharge the battery and do not touch the computer for 2 days, it will be completely empty. It is surely not normal!

    The laptop was bought initially in Queensland, but I am now in Perth and have no way to go back and return to the store like it what I have to do according to the directives of service Toshiba.

    What can I do?

    There may be a build-up of dust in the radiator. You can buy a can of compressed Air from electronic stores (DickSmith and Jaycar for example) to blow dust through the vents.

    What about the battery drain, update the BIOS to the latest version (take a look at mytoshiba.com.au-> Support-> downloads), then go into BIOS by pressing F2 during POST and disable the USB Sleep and fresh.

    If you still have problems with it, you can send the laptop to a Toshiba repair center. There is a list ASP on mytoshiba.com.au

    I bought my x201s last year and after maybe a week or two (or perhaps since) I noticed a white spot on the left corner of the screen (see picture). Because I use my laptop for all working days I couldn't return (I should have decided on the on-site warranty).

    Having some time these days, that I sent to free lenovo. Here the response has been that it will cost me $700 and has not given any explanation as to why it was not covered by the warranty.

    The person reluctantly increased my problem to another service without giving me any explanation at all, and the answer returned $ 700 to fix the screen.

    I'm outraged by the way I got on this subject. I have not received all the information, I'm without a laptop for two weeks now and I don't seem to be able to talk to someone else than my first contact, that is to say the least bit cooperative.
