Also when variables get edited or changed as if I had 6 gold and then now I have 7 but how do send flash that updated data in my database? I know you use php and other things but I have examples of easy php and codes as2? I'm a beginner in php, but I know a decent amount of AS2. I searched all over google and adobe for the answer forums, but none of them really helped. I am currently working on a flash game on my site and I'm doing so that players can save as their gold, armor, weapons etc and then load them by logging into their account.  Here is my game that I currently use cookies to save the data:

  I created a couple of simple buttons Pause/Resume Flash AS2 to manipulate playback from Captivate using the following script:

  The buttons work as expected if their ' display for: "values are set to"Rest of project"."  The buttons seem to have no effect on the reading of Captivate so "show:" is set to anything else.

  The problem is that I was hoping to only display buttons when I want the user to suspend or resume the chronology of Captivate.  However, for some reason that I don't understand, they do not work when their ' display for: "value"point in time ".

  No idea why the buttons to behave the way they do or ideas on how to make them do what I wish they would do?

  When ' show:' is selected as the rest of the project / duration of the animation, swf loader will be placed on the chronology of the Captivate SWF.

  When ' show:' is selected as the precise moment / slide rest, swf loader will be placed inside the slide (slide is placed on the Captivate swf timeline).

  So try it when ' show:' is specific time / rest of slide:

  on (release) {}
  _parent._parent._parent.rdcmndResume = 1;
  }

  on (release) {}
  _parent._parent._parent.rdcmndPause = 1;

  }

  I used delprof in windows xp, in a script, to remove cached user profiles, but it does not work for Vista Ultimate. I tried reprof but the characteristics of certina if Vista prevents the Remprof of work corre4ctly. I also used the GPO setting on the client system Vista. I put the time of deletion for all the two days. Because it requires a reboot I had put Scheduler Restart every two days.  User profiles were still on the system after reboot. Is there a way to remove the profiles via the registry setting or vbscript?

  If you encode using 4.7 or later version, you can use AccelerometerSensor.isSupported (). If you are using 4.6 or lower so I don't think there is a way.

  If I understand correctly, you want to do animation of the jump to animate and change rotation according to your logic.

  You should take this approach.

  1. Add a handler for "Timeline.update".

  2. in the Manager to obtain the current transformation

  3 merge your rotation with the current transformation

  4. set the transformation merged as a symbol. $("element") .css ({"transform":...})

  Well the characters you mentioned must be both more regular fonts. They are just exotic enough to justify a full unicode font. I'm guessing that touches something else. Of course that depends on what the font you're using. But most of the fonts that come with a computer and a regular software should have these characters.

  You mention that you read the vars from a txt file. Try this in the test environment. Test publish your FLA and once the text file has been read go up to the menu debug and list Variables. Some place it should be the content of the text file. The characters display correctly there?

  If they are not, then the problem is that Flash is not properly read the text file and no police will be able to fix this. Be sure you save your file as UTF-8 text. Flash does not play so well with the other formats and beyond the range of basic ASCII text files.

  If they appear correctly in the Variables from the list. Then you know that the problem is with your fonts. As I said most of the fonts should have these characters so after back if you need assistance.
