• Flash drop-down menus

  I am creating a site that has flash in drop-down menus that are sitting in the first row of a table. In the second row is a large graphical banner - the banner is different for each of the eight sections of the site.
  I could put the banner in my menus and create 8 different files flash for menus, but this clearly isn't the way to do it. As I see it, I have two choices:
  1. find a way to easily win the menus drop "over" the chart. I played with the wmode = "transparent" setting but I can't seem to make it work. I publish my movie with a transparent window and then place it in the first row of the table. He stillpushes the second way to graph of line to the bottom of the page. I must be missing something.
  2. combine the menus and the graphic banner (my preference because it would allow me to make the banner look better with a touch of animation). I'd then 8 records and 8 versions of the menus... bad. Can I integrate a single file menu flash in 8 different flash animations so that the menus don't load only once. In addition, these inevitable changes are to be made to a single file.

  1. the file will occupy the dimensions, there an amovie of s, so the wmode service to make the background transparent.  You will probably need to put the Flash in a div which floats at the z above the table level, together with the transparent wmode.

  2. There are a variety of options.

  You can create the menu as a separate swf and load it into each swf banner.  Which will result in a menu swf and some number of banner SWF.

  You could have a menu-banner swf that dynamically load some image there on the page that it is.  You can use FlashVars to indicate what image load for this page.

  You could do a little of both... have a menu swf and have a swf banner that loads the menu and load the image on the page it is on.

  I have a Vaio FE41E with Vista Home Premium.  2 days ago, that he began to beep continuously start and hang until I pressed F12.   Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

  1. a System Restore to before the updates:

  Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

  If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

  If it is impossible to enter the Normal Mode, do a Safe Mode system restore:

  Press F8 at the startup/power and the list of startup options, use THE ARROW key to select Safe mode > and then press ENTER.

  What version of Premiere Elements and what operating system?

  Premiere Elements offers no chapter markers in an export file saved on the hard drive of the computer. We see this type of functionality in the disc menus.

• Error importing for .prproj files

  so I just hit mc adobe CS4 for the first time, my church is allowing me to use the studio/editing room while being not used during the day at certain times. I am compiling my wedding dvd to make it more proffessional than the already made vesion (which looks very amateur with a menu of basic model and so on). I intend to use some flash on the menus and perhaps even include an Easter egg as well. in any case, with the other program I imported all the media of the camera (which is a HARD drive camera that records everything in files is a MOD) I had a converter is a mod for a while so who are already saved converted.i on an external HARD drive, I have created a folder on the computer and just hung out and banged against the back.

  I can code the project as an mpeg, and it imports fine. I can import individual clips that make up the project in again, they work very well as well.but if I import the .prproj file, it gives me the error. So what's the deal? can you drag and drop these same files? I just try to keep permanently encoding files after 3 encodes, I fear that the video quality will suffer too much damage, so I will try to do where I can simply import the project and then at the end of burn the project to a dvd.

  CS4 works differently than does CyberLink. You change PrPro and author in Encore. You have two choices on how to get your material edited in yet. We can use Adobe Dynamic Link of PrPro yet and still going to do the transcoding of all for you, or you can export PrPro as a DV - AVI or transcode MPEG-2 compatible DVD. I will not comic book here, just the DVD-video.

  Method you choose is yours. If you decide to do the transcoding in PrPro 100% compatible MPEG-2 DVD, you want to read about "bit-budgeting", because you will need to take the necessary decisions.

  Now, let's talk PRPROJ file for a while. This ARTICLE will give you background on what they are, and why they matter not in yet, you've discovered.   Unfortunately the form styles are not uniformly recognized by all browsers.  Some people resort to Ajax, DHTML, JQuery, or Flash for their Menus jump look the same in all browsers.

• Starting point for novice

  Two issues - firstly, can someone recommend a good INTRODUCTION NOVICE on Actionscript. I don't expect to become a genius of the Actionscript but want to be resonably poured into it, so I can work with different components like Flash drop down menus, menu accordion, slide show controls and slide show navigation. My partially completed site is www.blueorbimages.com - a place for my photography and a friend. My specific task is now to improve navigation within each gallery.
  
  Second question - is is possible to use Actionscript in a button instance for levels of control on a web page? I have a page with 3 layers, each containing a swf file and want to be able to click on a button with the name of a specific swf to view this layer and hide the other two. I have done so using DW 8 and behaviours but would like to do in Flash with Actionscript, so I can do other things in the process.

  Flash Actionscript can manipulate the browser document objects. However Flash can communicate with JavaScript via getURL() and Javascript can make manipulation of the document of the browser objects.

• Drop down flash menus and then disappear before I can use them

  The menus that appear when the mouse is over a few drop-down buttons are sustainable is more long enough to use on some but not all web sites.
  They are flashing, you can see that they are there, but you can't move the mouse down to make a selection.
  This happened with an old version and 28.8 I went to today. This makes it almost unusable browser.
  I tried the safe mode, no difference.
  Remove the Mozilla folder and reinstalled it, no difference.

  Computer Windows 7,.

  I have seen that this is one problem for others when I search but I can't find a solution.

  To disable hardware acceleration does not work as well?

  • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

  Start the computer in safe mode Windows with network support (on the startup screen, press F8) as a test to see if that helps.

  When you click the drop-down menus such as file or Tools menu flashes only and won't stay open long enough to make a selection.

  Try turning off hardware acceleration.

  If disable hardware acceleration works then check if there is an update available for your graphics display driver.

  I think this thread is on the sensor.

  It is in the upper left corner of the screen.    All touch screen phones have a similar model, designed to detect the proximity of the face and the vacuum screen out so the face is not accidentally touch the screen and cause something happens.  Why the behavior is different in speaker, is that the proximity sensor is off... which would put a speaker directly to their ear.

  So... If the screen does not load make sure that the area of the sensor is 2-3 inches of skin and not blocked by hair or clothing.

  If the screen fails to unblank (quickly)... Make sure that the thumb or finger is not close, even on the side of the upper left corner.

  To better understand the sensor, try this:

  Make a call

  Put the phone on a table

  Slowly move your hand down to the screen... about 3 "of the phone, the screen should blank.

  Place your hand back.  the screen should unblank and be ready for use.

  Try this with a few fingers and a finger near the sensor.

  If this does not work... the phone is defective.
