Flash.exe constantly writes to $LogFile

Why Flash.exe constantly written on my HDD main $LogFile? She does since the release of Flash Professional CC. At first, I thought it was a weird bug but a few months later and have just updated it still does it.

It's embarrassing to hear the disk constantly in use not to mention he's wearing it down!

This does not happen with Flash C6 and C5.

I searched around, and I don't see anyone talking about it. Maybe it's a weird rare bug.

It happens to someone else? Do you have any idea why and how to stop it?

HAH! Problem solved. (Maybe!)

I just got a spark at random the inspiration of Minecraft, specifically sound setting of the files read-only so that the game is not crush them when I edit them...

In any case, I thought that I could open the resource monitor and see monopolizes all flash files. $LogFile was one of them, but it turnes out it's a file system having to with the NTFS format. Don't really know the details, just know flash is not written directly to this file. The other file, it was written to was a file ".slc" in the folder "SLCache", so I've come to this folder and... Voila! Hard disk calms down, flash is more written it wrong, and I can use it again without fear of damaging my hardware

TL; DR: Go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\SLCache and set the flash file is written in read-only. For me, it was 'OTI0MDg3MDM2Mjg3NTQ4ODc5NDY2ODU5.slc'.

  • Satellite A10 - lsass.exe constantly reading & writing HARD drive

    Hello!

Two weeks ago, I asked here a piece of advice from my Satellite A10 has bombarded me with messages on "bad clusters" and "not being able to write this or that" on my HARD drive. I thought that my HARD drive was too old and bad functioning, and maybe it should be replaced.

Now, I know that the cause of my problems is Windows XP.
As soon as he starts lsass.exe this horrible process is constantly read and write something on the HARD drive.

As a result, it keeps my HARD drive so busy that all programs that I use can not work properly: when they want to write something on my HARD drive it must wait and wait. And I think this incessant and door reading wrote on the poor HARD disk.

I googled for a solution (it seems that there are other victims who are unable to get rid of the unwelcome lsass.exe) and I tried to prohibit files indexing and system recovery but these solutions do not work for me. Is there another remedy known to this naughty lsass?

I have Windows XP Toshiba Recovery Disk and lately this lsass were so widespread that I can not download updates for XP SP2 or SP3. So, if there is a good solution, it must be for the Virgin XP SP1...

    Help, please!

    Hello

Lsass.exe belongs to the Windows operating system and it s a Microsoft file!
It is a path to the file: windows\system32\lsass.exe

    I found these details:
+ "lsass.exe" is the local security authentication server. It checks the validity of the user on your PC/server logons. It generates the process responsible for authenticating users for the Winlogon service. +

I put t think that the file can be removed or should be removed.

  • SkypeSetupFull.exe constantly downloading some software

    Hello, Skype gurus!

    I strongly need a Board!

In recent days, some software on my Workstation Windows 7 download constantly the following URL:

    http://download.Skype.com/bb0132fb8faa3e9a9c45556fec34fb7c/Partner/66/SkypeSetupFull.exe

Well, download 30 + Mb 2 - 3 times a day may not be a big deal, but this happens in the office and my weekly Internet traffic is limited, so it gets sold out by Wednesday...

Does anyone have an idea about the software you can start those downloads?

Of course, it isn't Skype itself, disabling the automatic updates has been the first step in my invetigation.

And normally Skype does not download the Offline Installer, is it not?

If all goes well, "partner/66' part of the URL can be the key...

And if there is no quick answer, how can I detect the process that download from this URL?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

    Sergey

Disabling automatic updates does that stop automatic updates , but Skype will still attempt to suggest updating to the current version and download the installation file.

You can try to update your Skype to the 6.9.0.106 currently the latest version using this msi installer:

  • Slow/svchost.exe constantly running Windows updates.

It is obviously something to do with the Windows updates, as they are supposed to nd today I'm worried how and when this will be looked at in / fixed.

I suppose that decisions to accumulate all of the updates in October and prevent users from having a choice in what they do/don't install has something to do with this current problem?

(Have not changed the settings / installed what either, and I did not install W10 either.) The OS that is on my computer, now, is what was on it when I bought it so bar regular update via windows nothing has changed.)

clean install of Windows and all the Windows updates applied, same Microsoft Security Essential antivirus installed, and the WmiPrvSE.exe process constantly calls c:\windows\system32\tzres.dll and tzres.dll.mui in Windows 7 SP1.

If the use of the HARD drive is never-ending, because he calls the files per second, and I have the red light of the hard disk activity lights up every second.

also this problem because constant use of the processor to 3% in my PC, the WmiPrvSE.exe process never stop calling the above mentioned files.

    Hello

For a better understanding of the question, I would like to know if the computer is connected to the domain network?

Windows® Management Instrumentation (WMI) is a component of the Microsoft Windows operating system that provides control and management information in an enterprise environment. With wmiprvse.exe, managers of files in enterprise environments are capable of configuring and searching for desktop system or network information and applications on the network. Developers use the wmiprvse.exe file to develop applications used for monitoring purposes. These programs can inform users about important events associated with the right management of network and files or applications after each event occurs.

    Method 1:
I suggest you to put the computer in a clean boot state, and check if the problem persists.

Setting the system in a clean boot state will help you determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: After the clean boot troubleshooting steps, see the "How to reset the computer to start as usual after a clean boot troubleshooting" section in the link provided to return the computer to a Normal startup mode.

    Method 2:
If the problem persists, I suggest you to install all Windows updates available including the optional updates and check if it helps.

See the article for more information.

  • How to fix wlcomm.exe constantly using 25% cpu?

    Hello

We have a Dell i3 laptop that feels lethargic.  I noticed in the task manager that wlcomm.exe is constantly using 25% cpu.

The laptop is running Windows 7 and Windows Live Mail 2011.

Why wlcomm.exe use so much resource cpu and how can I stop it do it please?

    Best regards

    David

It is probably downloading and indexing of your email to provide instant search functionality.  If you let it run for a day, it should calm down.  Normal conditions of use "lazy" CPU by wlcomm is about 2% or less.

  • Why Flash Player constantly stop functioning

    Windows 7 pro - IE 11.0.6 using...

I have to UN and re - install Flash Player almost constantly. Twice a week - really!

This has happened with versions 10 and the most recent - installation of 16 yesterday. No matter what.

Ten thousand forums and not one solution that has worked.

    Everyone, anyone have any ideas?

The grey exclamation point is the icon of memory (OOM).  We have detected that you are running out of memory, we will try to free as much as possible, but if the content is allocate too much memory too fast, there is often nothing we can do to avoid that situation.  The crash dangerously, stop us running and stop the player.

If you use a lot of simultaneous tabs, it is probably a contributing factor.  If you have more than 2 GB of RAM and you are running a 32-bit operating system, which will limit the amount of available RAM to 2 GB.  Sometimes content is written just inefficiently and it does not release resources that are no longer used.  We will eventually force stuff should be deleted, but it's a last-ditch effort, garbage collection is CPU intensive and done at the wrong time, will cause games and videos on hitch and stutter.

If you get the OOM icon on a specific content, links would be useful.  If it is happening everywhere, a reboot at least made the problem goes away for a while?  If so, you can keep an eye on the Task Manager to see if certain tasks are constantly increasing over time.  Flash tasks will grow until they hit an upper limit, but then they should be periodically (as occurs in the garbage collection), and then push this upper threshold.  If other processes are unlimited growth, or you touch just a piece of content and immediately get the icon OOM, those who are really interesting clues.
