Do you have all the troubleshooting & uninstalled, restarted, new message material found, always the same.  Legacy Bishop reading drive HP DVD Writer 1140r but Record now sees him only as a player, not registrable as it used to.

Hello:

I thought that maybe your model needed a storage controller driver so that the registration program could see the drive.  But your PC will not need this.

Have you tried another DVD burning software program?

I love this one. It's free and easy to use.

Download the 32-bit version without Open candy (click on the blue, that more download link Options).

You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
correctly. Since it accepts no disc do not forget to remove ALL the power and control the
cable connections - remove and replace (at both ends where possible).

Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

  • Computer printer don't read do not

Hello everyone, I recently updated my computer to an epson (who installed/worked very well) to a HP printer photosmart c4210 all-in-one. The problem I have started the installation of the printer.

I followed all the steps of the manual GET to step 11 where it tells me to insert the disk, I. I then follow the instructions and get to the point where the installation program tells me to "Connect the usb from the printer to the computer cord." The problem is that when I do that, my computer is the tone indicating that I just inserted a device memory, however, the 'next' in order to get to the next step button lights and become clickable (therefore leading me to believe that the program does not read the printer.)

I made sure the printer was until I inserted the USB cable. After trying to reconnect it several times I clicked on the box beside the message saying "Check this box if you are unable to connect your printer now, Hp will install the drivers and you'll be able to connect again later." After you have clicked on the box the 'next' button lights up and I was able to complete the installation.

After doing this and I try to print, I found that I was unable to locate the printer on my computer. I'm on vista and had to delete some files from registry using regedit.exe to play the disc.

Someone had a similar problem to this? I have custom installation do not install all the B.S. that usually comes with the programs of these days... I was very careful to keep all the useful things that the printer should run so I don't see how this could be a problem. The only thing I do not installed is "customer" or something to that effect which States it links now and then while you are online but "is not slow process too" and gives "improved support"...

I worked on it for hours and I am very tired, it's kindof my last ditch effort before going to bed. Tomorrow, I'll check to see if anyone has a solution for this or a miracle any which would be nice . If this isn't the case, I guess I'll try to reinstall and include all the software of B.S. that comes with the installation disc to see if it works.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hey, thanks for the reply. After turning off my computer for the night and taking the disc from the drive. I turned on my computer, plugged the usb to my printer and then turned on the printer cord. A message came that vista was "installing device drivers." After that I was prompted to insert the installation again disc I did. It seemed to install more than a few things... But it works fine now. It's funny that it worked because I restarted several times, however, I'm glad he did it and am very happy with this printer up to now that I got that it works, and highely recommend HP anyone, he launched my ass Epsons, thanks again.  I will catcha later.

  • Windows Vista don't read do not SanDisk 2 GB sd card

I have a vista edition windows Home premium, service Pack2. My problem is that I have a 2 GB sandisk micro sd with adapter card. When I tried to use it, a moment ago, it did not work. but I, somehow fixed. I don't remember what I did, but it worked. and now, it's the first time I am using the card in a moment and the computer does not read it. I searched online for some time and could not solve the problem. I hesitate to do a system restore or anything of the sort, because it is my grandparents computer. Finally, I came to the conclusion that the sd port can be broken, but I tried another card and it worked perfectly. The other card was also a sandisk 2GB, but this is a regular, not a microphone. I went into Device Manager and all drivers are working. I also made sure the sd card is not locked.  I don't know what to do anymore. Help, please.

  • ID CS4 URLs don't read do not direct in PDF format read by Acrobat 6

    Dear all,

Of course, I would like to find a nice list of what can make and not different versions of Acrobat and Reader.

I sent a PDF (version Acrobat 6 (PDF 1.5)) in InDesign CS4 (see config system. below) and my seniors were struggling with it. We had Acrobat 6 and could not read URLs and yet the Interactive Elements worked. I made sure that I specified the ' export Include - hyperlinks and Interactive Elements when I made the PDF. What should do? So, I found the site called OldApps.com and downloaded Acrobat Reader 6.0 for Windows. Of course, the URL did not, but the fact that interactive. Going on the idea that having to insert manually a hyperlink in InDesign seemed to have worked and let ID/Acrobat to create the links does not work, I made all the links manually in code. It worked and now all links are live.

If I had some kind of list that I would look at what was not and what has been taken in charge in earlier versions of Acrobat/PDF and I could then make adjustments to my INDDs and PDFs as a result. Such a beast exist? What should I create one?

    System:

    Windows XP Home SP 2

    Creative Suite 4

    CPU Pentium 4 3 GHz

    1.74 GB OF RAM

We prefer in format Acrobat (7 and 8 where I at least) that detects URLS in the text. It's probably what's happening. If you have this checked pref, you get links in the pdf file that you are viewing and if others don't have this checked pref, then they do not see the links.

    Hope this helps,

    Janine

  • Satellite A215-S7437 hard drive don't read do not

Whenever I put a CD in my CD drive, I heard the "rurr" that usually accompanies the normal sound of the hard drive working group work.

But lately, it makes this noise, but does not read the CD at all either. I searched the download and support already - suggestions?

I tried searching the base drivers / default on the driver download page, but they don't have em = / and restore the disc definitely out of the question since "broken" car

Hmmm. Entendez_ you the ODD (CD/DVD drive) is not able to read disks from different manufacturers; CD (+ R R + RW - RW) or DVD (+ R R, + RW - RW)?

If Yes, then the CD/DVD drive failure would be possible!
If this is the case, then you will need to replace the CD/DVD drive

    Hello

I have a Satellite M50 - mx5 with a carpet * a DVD player. When I insert the CD or DVD, the player starts, turns the CD autour (the indicator light flashes)... but a few seconds later, the drive stops turning, but the DVD drive light is on.

I also tried to boot Windows from the CD when the computer starts upward, but without success either.

Ideas for what is wrong? Is my DVD drive broken?

    Hello

Sorry to said but in my opinion, drive is dead and that the replacement allows the reader features can save.

But be aware that not every drive is supported and can be used with the laptop!
Take a look in the user manual. Sometimes the compatible players are listed.
And it s useful to know that all parts can be ordered from the ASP in your country.

    have a nice weekend ;)

  • Pavilion dv4: CD/DVD drive recognized but don't read do not

My DVD RW drive has suddenly stopped reading my CD.  It is recognized, the software is updated, and in the Device Manager, it indicates that the drive works properly, but is obviously not. The Cd has been used the week before with no problems (it contains the files of articles and reviews) but since then has not worked and I never even pulled out of the car so I don't think it's anything wrong with the CD itself.  I recently inserted a music CD and it worked fine.  When I insert the other CD that seems not read at all and funny noises come from the drive and sometimes the compueter will be the way I want to use the player. either as a CD or USB drive.

The CD works on other computers?

  • Input analog don't read do not correctly in normal mode

    Hello

I try to perform a simple test using Keithley KUSB-3102 like interface that sends a Dout of + 5v and the bed on the Ain. External circuit consist of a mosfet as a switch that puts the + 12v power to a relay and yes I am new to LabVIEW environment.

The VI is attached. When I run this VI Hightlight graph mode & LED works very well, showing all the values and the circuit works fine as well. But when I move it in normal mode the circuit still works fine, but the values are not shown on the graph or the LED lights only once.

Now what I believe is that he needs a timeout before the next loop, but I can't do this I tried other VI provided by Keithley as trigger and delay but it gives an error that I do not understand why and hv tried the normal delay of more but not luck. Maybe miss me something uncertain.

    Kind regards

I was linking the wrong way, I connected the delay outside/inside of the loop that is having very little effect on it. But wait until the next ms Multiple function has been the right to use inside the loop. I now take a full cycle by 400ms to read of the Ain and shows 4.8V - 4.7V which is fine.

    Thank you.

  • Windows 7 don't read is not GPT data readers

    Heyo,

So I have a secondary data drive and an external hard drive, the two NTFS formatted with TPG. My primary fails HD and I replace, reinstall windows, etc. However, now this computer (and only on this computer; other Windows 7 machines very well) reads the secondary data disk to format RAW instead of NTFS and sees only the unused portion of the external data drive. I installed an update of windows designed for big HDs, update bios and drivers from the chipset.

I really appreciate all the help you can provide.

    See you soon

    Hello

You might face this problem when there is a conflict with the drive letter of the device you are trying to connect to your computer. But before that I suggest you to take the backup of the data that you have in this computer and then try to change the drive letter. You can follow the steps below for data.

    Back up your files

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/back-up-files#1TC=Windows-7

Once you have managed to take the backup of the data, you can follow the steps below to change the drive letters and then check if it helps you.

Change, add, or remove a drive letter

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/change-add-remove-drive-letter#1TC=Windows-7

If you still experience this issue you can also try to change the type of partition on the drive, but do not forget to bring it back to the top of your data by following the steps in the link provided earlier.

Convert a hard disk or partition to NTFS format

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/convert-hard-disk-partition-NTFS-format#1TC=Windows-7
