Flash player 11.3.300.262 is using a lot of memory

Since the update flash a few days ago, that the plugin uses a lot more memory than usual. He uses normally between 150 MB to 200 MB, but now I've seen him use up to 900 MB.

I noticed that the memory use increases of 5 MB or more, when you browse through a video until I stop the plugin because of the ridiculous amount of memory used.

Please check if all your plugins are up to date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.

Once you are there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions.
If you see in the list of plugins that have a yellow button to update or a red button update now , please put to update these immediately.

To do this, click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps in the installation process.

  • Once I downloaded the new version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262, I can not play games with my friends on Yahoo Messenger.

It could be a coincidence, but when I upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.262 I can not play games with my friends on Yahoo Messenger. I know that when I've updated for a reason that I had to try 3 times before it took. It shows that it is updated. I wonder if I have to uninstall and reinstall. Also, I never use Internet Explorer 8 but when I went there to check I found a plug check link there and it showed over there that Adobe Flash Player necessary update but it was an older version and not a Foxfire had updated me too. Now I'm really confused if it causes a problem. I've never had to control Internet Explorer for plug-ins before. Have always just updated to Foxfire since that's what I use. Adobe Flash Player seems to play videos OK not really sure if this is the issue or not. My Java plug-ins have been very well and have been updated some time there, so I know it's not that. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

    Hey again,
After hours of reading and checking to make sure I had good things enabled, I did, I gave up and uninstalled the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, they gave me and re-installed and later I had my friend get on Messenger and we tried games and it worked this time.
For some strange reason when I updated it took me 3 tries before it took. So even if he told me that it has been installed, apparently it wasn't really. Just goes to show you that you can not trust what you see.
What has really scratching my head was I went to Internet Explorer 8, which I never use more and discovered you can now get Mozilla plug in slip out there and when I did showed that same Adobe Flash Player is outdated but it was to a different version. Not knowing if it would help, I installed a new too and he said it was his understanding that it does not. So I guess you can have 1 version installed on the computer 1 despite 2 browsers different different versions. It becomes too complicated for me. Laughing out loud!
I work with computers all the time at work but not the technical stuff. If it's something simple, I can guess through it to help someone but it's my first personal computer for me and is a former first, so I got experience using different types. We use the desk at work as well. Personally, I like computers laptops for various reasons. And the mention of people many browsers go way over my head.
Please answer this question though and you answer back.

  • Flash Player 11.3.300.262 works only with Firefox. I think I found the problem.

    * Flash Player 11.3.300.262 does not work with Firefox. I think I found the problem.*

Millions of people got off work & turned on there computers recently to discover that Firefox isn't playing videos or flash content. Like me, millions of people are randomly searching the Internet in an attempt futile and frustrating response. Unfortunately, many of these people will simply stop using firefox & consider a browser glitch, unreliable.

This happened to me a few days ago. I started my computer and got a pop-up from Adobe saying that I need to update my flash 11.3.300.262 drive. I always thought that Adobe as being a reliable software company, so I clicked on it with confidence that things will take care even more fluid. To my horror, I have relalized that just after the update, my main browser, firefox has been destroyed. Then I went on the frustrating process of uninstalling, reinstalling, running virus scan, search the Internet like a lost child. I thought, "this is why I hate the update of things, because the updates always seem to change things you don't want to change, and there always seems to be a problem with updates." I generally update software month after release, because microsoft & all other software vendors always seem to not test it stuff properly before releasing. We must look a glitchy computer until the next update fixes it. Well, that is my rant. Now, let me discuss the problem I found.

    Problem:

What I did, go to my menu firefox extensions, I disabled the 11.3.300.262 & I have reactivated the previous flash player. After that, everything worked perfectly again. Then one today (a week later), I turned on my computer and my firefox wasn't playing videos or flash content again. I went into my menu parts of firefox again, and I discovered that my old flash drive has been removed & this 11.3.300.262 new glitch had been activated. Why adobe feel the need of in my computer & automatically delete and update my flash drive. Now, it does not work. It IS REALLY FRUSTRATING!

    The question that I discovered:

"RealPlayer" is the most popular video show & it's installed on millions of computers. For some strange reason Firefox doesn't want its users to use Real Player. Specifically the RealPlayer Record Plugin 15.0.2. I also discovered that my Plugin 15.0.2 Record of the browser has been disabled automatically when the Adobe 11.3.300.262 is automatically updated too.

-Maybe this could be because of some conspiracy of copyright law to stop people from downloading videos from the web.

-Maybe firefox wants people to use it download add-on instead of RealPlayer downloader.

I don't know what ther reason. But what I know is no one will remove it RealPlayer to computer there is just to use FireFox. We can just use Chrome or Internet explorer. I took advice of people with disabilities the Extention of RealPlayer, FireFox and Adobe. I also went in my RealPlayer preferences options, but there is no option to disable the download of FireFox for registration. BECAUSE I have ALREADY DISABLED THE add-on menu FireFoxes.

    Solution:

Step 1: Adobe needs to update all computers with the previous flash player. In this way we can choose to activate the previous flash player in our FireFox. or wait for a new update fixes the problem with firefox.

Step 2: Adobe & FireFox need to get together and go back to the drawing board. They need create an update that actually works on computers with of Real Player installed on them. I don't like that the company made the update. All I care about is if it works. Thank you.

Oh yes, Im market FireFox 13.0.1, Windows 7, computer HP, Real Player is up-to-date.

  • Flash Player 11.3.300.262 is not working properly

    Operating system: Win7 64 bit

    Browser: Mozilla Firefox 13.0.1

    Flash Player: 1.3.300.262

So, I updated the version of Flash Player days ago and immediately noticed a few problems. I have re-installed many times now some problems have disappeared, but there is still one. During the game the Sims 3 it crashes often say that the Flash drive is missing, even though I just installed (again). I have no problems more use it with Mozilla Firefox, it's the only one left.

Some older games REQUIRE the flash file to be precisely named "flash.ocx" - which is what has been used many years ago.   Today, Flash uses a name more long, based on the version of the file.

For your windows 7, 64-bit system, I think that the file desired flash needs to be located in the

    C:\WINDOWS\systemWoW64\Macromed\Flash

subdirectory... see if you can find a file named it (something like) Flash32_11_3_300_257.ocx.

If so, right-click on the file, select COPY.   Move your cursor to any empty space on your desktop, right click and select PASTE.   Right-click on the desktop file that you just created and simply rename "flash.ocx" [CONFIRM the file - rename, if requested].  Finally, 'drag' the file renamed from your desktop, in the folder mentioned above Flash [CONFIRM file-movement of the file in read-only, if requested].

Point out you will now have two .ocx files related to Flash in this subdirectory - one with the original name (long), and the copy that you created with the shorter name.   If all goes well, who's going to make the case and allow your game to work.

Note: If this solve your SIMS problem, you need to repeat the process every time that you run the uninstall program Flash, upgrade to a newer version.

  • My XP guest uses a lot more memory on the new laptop

I just got a Dell Studio 15 and moved my Windows XP VM to it, and it uses a lot more memory than on my old system.  I don't know how VMWare allocates memory, but on my old system, I saw almost no additional memory used when you start this virtual machine (with the exception of the cache memory), but on the new, it uses almost as much memory that I have assigned to the virtual machine (1024 MB).  It is also worth noting that I use VMWare 7 on a new and 6.5 on the old host.

Anything I can do to get great efficiency that I was getting on my old system?

really not use 2 virtual processors on a host that has 2 CPUs.

What is an Ubuntu 9.10 system?

    Other than adding

    mainmem.backing = 'name '.

    for the vmx file.

This will slow down the virtual machine, but you wanted to do that ;-)

  • Windows that open, kind of slow, stop, real slow (2-1/2 minutes) and using a lot of memory-taskmanager

original title: scanning for dell studio 1737 and recommended bios update

Hello, generally, I read until I have my answer, but I can't so I think I give it a try. Somehow I screwed things up with my computer. My main complaint is that I have something running that takes a lot of memory according to the Task Manager. My fan runs often, 1-1/2 minute stop time, pop up messages telling me to stop then reload IE9 sp2. I found some stuff on my event viewer, but I can't seem to cross the first error which is something on my bios. I go to the dell website to try to update with a flash of the bios but note comes up saying that my computer does not accept the flash. I have other issues in both event viewer, but can't remember them that I can't get beyond the the bios issue. The computer is a Dell Studio 1737 plenty of core duo memory 4 MB with plenty of space on hard drive and it seems to do well but all the * running in the background makes it run hot so the fan. All I want to do is get a scan for my installed bios system and install an updated version. I am not able to do at Dell. Maybe they want me to pay to support or something. I did all the FixIt of ms, I ran three different registry cleaners, I ran three viruses different scans, nothing. I've loaded my vista dell disk and tried to recover or repair and cannot do it either. I notice weird things with ie. I've done several downloads for versions 32 and 64 bit, to do the right thing. Maybe he has an it is to say the conflict or something. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's related to the fact that my computer takes 1-1/2 minutes to stop, even if it starts normally. I played with it for about a month now and I'm traps at all reading. If I can Flash my bios and get this update, maybe, I'll be able to get then some of the other things go. Here are some tips from the event viewer if anyone has any time for her. $ 1 million for any help thanks! If anyone knows where I can find a site that can digitize to my existing configuration and then recommend the installed updates. Oh, just in case anyone is wondering why I do not pay just for a few servieces for help me, or take it to a computer store, I don't have a job and can not afford it. Believe me. I have many errors saying: the embedded controller (EC) has failed in the specified time-out period. This may indicate that there is an error in the EC hardware or firmware or BIOS is accessing the EC incorrectly. You should check with the manufacturer of your computer for an updated BIOS. In some cases, this error may cause the computer to function properly. And The Office Source Engine service entered the stopped state. Service WinHTTP Web Proxy Auto - Discovery Service entered the running state. The Google Software Updater service entered the running state. The Google software update service entered the stopped state. A total of 60 errors in a single day, for weeks. Thanks again!

    Ok..

    The first task manager...

Open it and then click the CPU tab until the processes that use most of time processor are grouped at the top of the list.

The system idle process should be at the top and then maybe three points below that seem to take the time to processort.

Make a note of them and then look on the Internet that each fact or the program, application or process to which they are linked.

Forget the event viewer and any reference to it in the BIOS...

All the * running in the background will not cause it's running more hot so the fan. BUT, you can have installed something knowingly or perhaps inadvertently causing the CPU work all the time. Reference to what I said about the Task Manager. This is where you will find the cause most likely.

BIOS... How to download and install... taken directly from the Dell support site. No payment at ALL is required. BUT, you probably don't need to do and if you do, it should choose to do so, it should be performed using socket at a time when it will present no risk of a power failure...

    2. when the file download window appears, click Save (Windows XP

1 double click on the new icon on the desktop, titled R302080. EXE.
    2. the self-extracting window appears and prompts to extract or
Unpack in C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R302080. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
You can later find Setup.exe file).
    3. the self-extractor file window appears.
    4. click on OK.
    5. After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
    6. click on the Start button, then run.
    7. type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R302080 in the box text open, and then click OK.
    8. follow the on-screen installation instructions.

Fact MS Fix - its for what exactly?

Use of registry cleaners will create more problems than they ever solve. You may well have created one of the issues by running a registry cleaner. Uninstall them as best as POSSIBLE...

Three viruses different scans? Without doubt completely uninstalled before the installation and execution of another? In addition, what av scanners?

Many downloads of 32 and 64 bits, what?

Your computer may take a long time to stop if an open e-mail program is defined on control too frequently, or if a backup utility is configured to check the differences between system and backup is too frequent. In addition, some gadgets can slow down to stop, and USB keys will cause Windows to ensure that there is no process to read/write that run to them before she stops them.

Flashing the BIOS is not and has never been the panacea for all the ills of the computer and won't solve ANYTHING in your case.

If you have upgraded from Vista...

Go to the Dell support site and downlaod driver and install any Windows 7 drivers for your machine other than BIOS. If you enter your number of service on this site...

    http://support.Dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=CA&CS=cadhs1&l=en&s=DHS

you will be presented only with the specific drivers for your machine.

This should eliminate the errors of the EC.

  • the process Svchost.exe to netsvcs uses a lot of memory (~ 600 MB) and 100% cpu

I have windows xp edition sp3 family. I hit the power button to hibernate the pc but I think an automatice update was running.  Pc crashes when windows resumes after hibernation. I forced a re-boot, but now the svchost.exe to netsvcs process uses a lot of RAM and CPU. I have a Dell Dimension 8250 with 1 GB of RAM. Svchost uses > 600 MB of memory and 100% of the CPU unless I have stop the DHCP service. When I stop DHCP the svchost stops using CPU and memory affected slowly decreases to about 150 MB and remains at this level. But without DHCP I do have access to the network.

After installing SP3 recently I started having some weird problems, as I lost my printer and had to re - install the software. Also noticed that after re-booting and desktop appears completely empty, the screen turns white and the taskbar at the bottom will appear empty for about 30 seconds, then reappears. PC seems to be more slow tha before installing SP3.

I've tried everything. Nothing stopped the svchost to chew all the memory, virtual memory and time processor. Had to re - install windows xp.

  • Laptop using a lot of memory

Original title: "problems of memory again"

my laptop seems to be 2 use up a lot of memory, I don't have many programs on it nor do I have a lot of photos/videos/music, but everytime I come and I use it, it loses a couple of concert, I said its possible that I might have a virus that can hide the memory it is possible, I cleaned all my restore points and the other the user help files Please

    Hi maggieninemiles,

Reading your post I don't really know if you are referring to the memory of your PC, or as you are referring to the deletion of restore points, in fact say "disk space." I will consider you want to actually say "disk space" because that would be the reason for the deletion of restore points to find additional space.

First that you actually have virus checked your system? If I don't season you run your virus application. You can also run an anti-malware application. Windows comes with Windows Defender, but I much prefer Malwarebytes Anti Malware -www.malwarebytes.org. Download the 'free' on the site of malwarebytes and perform a 'full' scan

A point to note is that, System Restore creates a point of food every 24 hours. Now, if your laptop has, say, 2 GB of physical memory then each restore point will be 2 GB in size, therefore, if the system restore has created 3 points of restoration over a period of 3 days the total size of the file would be 6 GB. (System Restore will be a total of 12% of space on your drive hard before it starts to automatically delete restore points. Once he removes the restore points deleted files will be replaced by new ones.) If "clean you" restore points that you will regain, say 4 to 6 GB of space depending on the question of whether the last restore point has been preserved; However, within 24 hours files system will have created another restore point and you would have lost another 2 GB, and this continues until all 12% of disk space was filled once more. To be honest, it's a vicious circle. Once the option is to reduce the amount of space that system restore can use to restore points. You can do this by following my instructions here:http://vistasupport.mvps.org/decrease_storage_space_allocated_to_system_restore.htm these instructions, however, are not for the faint hearted.

  • JOINT-2, using a lot of memory

    Hello.

I question obout JOINT-2 that is using 98% of the memory.

    Output sh worm:

With the help of 1944629248 of 1979682816 memory available bytes (98% of use)

With 4.3 G off bytes 17 G of disk space available (27% of use)

It is normal that it is using 98% of memory durning normal operation or there is a problem?

If this is not normal if you please tell me how I can trobuleshoot what is wrong with it.

This message is misleading, because it includes the memory allocated for the system process as well as the memory allocated for the cache. Because cache

memory is really "free". It is available for allocation at any time.

It's actually a bug in cosmetics that you use in.

If you want to check during periods of what you believe to be the high memory usage, you can connect as the user of the service

(if you have not created a user of the service you can do this through):

    1. log in using the account "cisco", the prompt will look like:

    probe #.

    2. Enter configure terminal mode:

    probe # configure terminal

    3. create the service account:

username Sensor (config) # service password xxx privilege service

Then connect on the sensor as the user of the service and run the command 'free. ' What 'sh worm' reports is the column "used."

The "Mem: ' row, column" used"is the amount of memory (in kilobytes) that reports the"show version"command." However, this total includes the amount 'cached '.

The formula to calculate the actual memory used is:

    ((used-Cached) / total) * 100 = percentage of memory used.

  • Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.265

I downloaded the new update and it did not work at all. I had to uninstall and reinstall Adobe 10.3 again. I don't want to go through this. How will I know when a new update works with Firefox? Does anyone know if Firefox works on an update as I am having some problems with it too.

I imagine that this article will be updated when Flash conflicts are fully resolved: 11.3 Flash does not load video in Firefox.

What are your other Firefox problems? 14 Firefox is now in beta. You can try it, but it would be better to see if you have a known first problem.

  • After Effects uses a lot of memory (live RAM) when you perform simple work

    Hello

When I open AE, make a new project, import a simple 20 MB mp4 file itself and start playback of the clip (RAM Preview), consumption of RAM of After Effects gets up to 5 GB, and the CPU usage gets up to 50%!

This is a really simple job, and I don't know why it takes so many resources, it wasn't happening to me before.

    I'm on Windows 8.1, I use After Effects 13.2.0.49 (2014.2) and I have 8 GB of RAM.

    Why is this happening?

    Thanks in advance.

MP4 are notoriously calculation-heavy because they are so heavily compressed.  What explains the treatment part.

RAM previews allow AE to use so much memory that it has to play in real time.  What explains the part of the memory.
