  There are several cases of Adobe Flash crashes if I use Firefox, IE or Google Chrome - browsers and simply reload the page corrects this BUT repeats again and again.

  I am running Windows 8.1 64 bit in which the Flash program comes apparently integrated in the operating system as a hybrid 32/64 bit. When I inspect the add-on version Flash in Firefox, and an audit of the update, Adobe points out, correctly, that my system is 64 bit, English, Firefox Windows. Then when I do the same thing in Windows Internet Explorer, by checking the version shipped, I get a message that KB2999249 is available as a download fix Flash problems in Internet Explorer. Since this installation, the Flash has collapsed in IE [yet].

  So my question is: How can I be certain that when Firefox reports that Flash is "day" that he is indeed a version 64 bit compatible? Note that the download from Adobe site identifies only one version available for Firefox, IE and Google - the current version is the 15.0.0.152 file: NPSWF32_15_0_0_152.
  The "32" in the file name part suggests that it is a 32-bit application and, if so, where can I find NPSWF64_15_o_o_152 [if exists]?

  1 - is possible to play videos html5 without OS 2 controls showing next to clock (I know that I can display controls in the player in the app itself)

  2 - during playback of video flash from a playbook remote address (e.g. youtube) stays on, if I integrate swf file locally playbook goes out (backlight & Eve) even if the video game. Is it possible to keep the playbook on playback of local swf files?

  Don't know what version of device/OS refer you to but for PB or BB10 to answer question 1: right now it seems that we will see the same functionality to implement controls in the bar near the clock, PB and BB10. Maybe an OS, PB, inspires others, BB10? I also think that the HTML5 media API should follow the implementation of devs, so if you set the

• Flash CC Optimization for iphone 5: how to remove black bars

  test of iOS application I created in Flash CC is installed and works fine on my iPhone 5.

• Not displaying flash of random Questions and security settings do not

  I created a Captivate 4 project with 3 water slides and a pool of about 70 questions question in which I am firing randomly into. I use IE7 and Flash 10. Publication in Flash 10. If I publish or display in the preview in a web browser, the project launches, plays the first 3 slides and then turns off when the first question should appear. Note: the summary of the project AND publish the project as a .exe launch and display all questions correctly. It ends up being a flash security problem. I went on the site of adobe and via the Adobe Flash Player Security Manager"I walked into the hand. SWF generated by captivate the file as a trust and then re-directed the published captivate project and it ran correctly. It is ... what should I do to put in place my project or flash so I can't do this for each new project that I deploy? I don't want to have users to have to go in and add what I deploy as an approved file. It's also a little confused as to why the first three slides played and he stopped the questions... seems as if she is not a file of confidence, that it wouldn't work at all.

  Hello again

  I think I might investigate a temporary web server to host on until things are ready. This is where it will help.

  Providing files to end users, if you copy files on you end up having to explain how to save files. Then have to walk them by setting the Flash security so they can watch properly. It becomes just a pain in the kazoo.

  If you can find a space on the server, you simply download the content and provide a link for users to view the content.

  Other than that, if you are insistent that the copy is the way to fly, I might suggest that you establish a place known where you want everyone else to copy their files. Perhaps C:\TestFolder. Then provide some instructions on how to configure the file with Flash less stringent security. Thence forward, anything that they copy in the file should need no adjustment of security.

• Flash/Dreamweaver newbie questions

  Hello world. I'm a newbie, so please bear with me.
  
  I'm building my first website in Dreamweaver, but I want to create the home page in Flash. When the user enters the site for the first time, the homepage will play a short animation of my logo, and then the navigation buttons appear at the end. The buttons will host on working capital. However, if the user returns to the Home Page of another page in the site, I don't want the introductory animation to play repeatedly; I want the user to see just the static state of the Home Page, but with all the current navigation buttons and active rollover behaviors.
  
  So my questions are:
  
  1. I thought to build this page in Flash CS3 as my index.html page and, at the end of the introductory animations, using ActionScript to make the browser jump to a page similar in appearance, but without the introductory animation and save this page as home.html. The whole House all site links would point to this second file html instead. This sounds like a good way to do this?
  
  2. If this approach is reasonable, how could import Flash pages in Dreamweaver? For the index.html file, for example, I just name the file "index.fla" Flash and set the publishing settings to generate a file named html result?
  
  (I must confess that I'm still not sure that understand how to integrate these two applications when you create web pages with Flash).

  Food for thought: How do you incorporate a navigation of these
  buttons in the rest of the site? You mentioned that only the home page

  Yes, it is certainly a good way to do, because this means that the animation
  will play again for all those who visit your site after will disappear. The
  Code suggested in my article is only about a "play it once" approach.

  From a technical point of view, Flash doesn't create pages, even if this can help
  refer to the content Flash in this way. Dreamweaver is an HTML authoring tool
  pages and Flash is a tool for creating multimedia content which is incorporated
  in the HTML pages. Of course, you can create some Flash content that fills completely
  a page, but you still have to deal with a "shell" HTML element

  Honestly, it doesn't matter what you call the Flash file. When it is
  the Flash content will be a published SWF file, and you use Dreamweaver
  to integrate your SWF (s) into your index.html file (and possibly your)
  file index2.html or home.html and home2.html files).

  Ideally, you should consider making your content available to as many
  viewers as possible. This means that from the lowest common denominator
  (HTML), then following the principle of "progressive enhancement" to improve the
  the appearance of your site with CSS, then potentially JavaScript (for
  those who have active JavaScript) or Flash (for people who have the)
  Flash Player plugin installed), and so on.

  If you Google SWFObject, you can find a freeware JavaScript solution for
  Flash presentation for those who with the plugin installed (certainly, there
  just wait that most people do) and for presenting "plain old HTML" to
  people who do not.

• Firefox 14.01 and Flash 11.3 questions

  I already had problems with Firefox 13 (forget not precisely what version) after having updated with the help of Flash as many others have been. I was happy to see that a 14 v. is now released and updated day hoping that it would solve my problems, but I still have a problem. I feel confident that there is a problem with Flash; I went through and individually disabled and re-enabled Add-ons, and can use Firefox fine when the Flash is turned off and that all goes down hill once reactivated.

  In general, my problems are that Gmail, Facebook and many other Web sites does not load when the Flash is activated. They will begin to open, get stuck and the Firefox crashes completely. The Add power - off corrected this and again it brings back.

  I have Windows Vista as my o/s.

  All additional troubleshooting suggestions? I tried to uninstall and reinstall Firefox and Flash.

• Levenberg-Marquardt optimization question

  I am trying to use the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm, using a technique of optimization error percentage instead of the technique of the absolute error. AFAIK the Levenberg Marquardt in Labview algorithm uses the technique of the absolute error (i.e. Y - f(x)) when calculating on the errors. How can I change this option to use the technique of percentage error, when the error = [(Y - f(x)) / y] * 100? I changed the calculation of the error in the algorithm to calculate the error in this way, but the results were not satisfactory. I wonder if I forget something or there at - it much more to what meets the eye? I know that in other programs like Mathematica you can choose how you want the error calculated, but I do not see this option in the Labview vi. Any help appreciated.

  Additional information:

  I'm using Labview version 8.2

  I changed the Subvi ABX to calculate the error differently. The ABX vi contains a Subvi called gradient and function of LM. The output of this Subvi calculates better suited like Y - the error. I changed this calculation to be [((ajustement Y-meilleur) / y) * 100] to obtain the percentage of error instead. This affects alpha, beta and chisqr. I think I may need to make other changes to the algorithm to implement the technique of error in percentage but I don't know what changes to make. The results that I have received the above changes were worse than the results I got from the method of the absolute error (error = Y – the better suited). This should not be the case. I implement the VI of the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm format and not the string of the formula. Any help appreciated.

  I don't know if I understand.

  However, as the Lev - Mar algorithm calculates Y - f (x). If you divide that result by the best linear fit (Y) and multiply by 100. This will give you your desired effect.

• Adobe CS6 Flash movie test question.

  I had problems in Flash CS6 to use AS2. I created a character with a slow motion animation and the animation of a hike. If I try to test one of them (Ctrl + Enter), it shows just the first image.   SEO is in large part of common sense and a lot of rich content of keyword within a good semantic structure.  META keywords will not help much, because its not ignore them.  Also, do not abuse the H1.  This can actually work against you.

• Flash CS5 Preloader Questions

  Hey everybody. I'm new to the stage of Flash and I was wondering how to make a super simple preloader, which would then display my external site. I've seen many tutorials, but they never seem to work well for me. All I want to do is display text in percentage that it loads. I know that orders and the code necessary to get this number, but it never shows up when I simulate download. Where should I put the preloader and how do I do load external .swf files and redirect after loading? I can build out of a simple construction, but I need help on that part. Once I see an easy example, I should be fine. I'll add a loading bar later but I want just text at the moment. Anyway, thanks for reading.

  You can do everything correctly. Using test animation is not a good method to test the progress of a preloader, at least not without adapting it the test. Using just test movie will show usually not much or even any preload progress events. This is because the file is not really be downloaded, it is in memory and so it loads immediately.

  To get a more accurate approximation of the loading process, use test movie, then go to the view menu and select the download settings. In this list choose a slow flow, said 546 k. Then select Download simulate them. Now, you will get to see the preload progress events take place.
