• Need a Clarification on the installed component and run Simulator Configuration

  Help!

  I need clarification on what the plugin Eclipse is telling me. There are two parameters that are confusing me. For components installed (found under preferences/Window/BlackBerry JDE/Installed Components), I have a choice of 5.0.0 4.7.0,4.6.1, 4.6.0 4.5.0 and 4.3.0.

  Depending on which component I select when I go in the tab Configurations.../Simulator/course walk, I see a different mix of devices.  In all cases, there is a default Simulator.

  Initially, I assumed that each JDE component supports a mixture of different devices, and that is it compiled correctly, I would be assured that the app would work for all devices on the tab run Simulator Configuration.  In my tests, I found theopposite.  I also assume that, for each component of the JDE, there is a 'default' Simulator that was representative of all devices in the drop-down list run Configuration Simulator.  In my tests, am not sure what actually represents the Simulator 'by default'.

  Can someone clarify how to JDE and Configuration simulators run installed interact and a developer show how to ensure that their application is running on a mix of devices?

  When I finally get to the point where I am ready to deliver, what are the points of decision of installation?  Is it enough to simply require a specific version of an operating system (for example 4.7?) or do I have to create a grid and check the two model number and version of the operating system?

  the first on the ps and grep commands, you are right on the line 1, which is the command line:
  to avoid that you can do
  PS - DTS | grep-i runinstaller. grep - v grep

  After you have used the user fuser, it gives you the process id 32275

  so with the PID number you can do:
  PS - DTS | grep 32275

  This will give you the application that is currently running and pointing to the log file.

  Although fuser * shows that the log files are still used?

• Replacement certificates and mobile configuration files

  IM currently replacing the certificates to try to resubmit an App (it wouldn't let me connect and download using existing ones)

  1 when I went into Keychain Access initially he confirmed by Developer certificate has been altered, so I assume it is because of the frustration.

  Bundle id is part of App id that you create in Apple iOS provisioning portal. Make sure that you have created your Provisiing Mobile files using the same app id/bundle id.

• Why not be able to display boxes of the IP and the password in the configuration of run/debug in Flash builder

  I'm trying to get the HelloWorld application to work, but I can't find the IP address and the option of setting the password for the simulator of tablet in the run/debug configuration. It should be in run/debug configurations, but it's not.

  I already have the Simulator works and correctly installed the Playbook SDK (link to version 2.5 SDK and Flash Builder). I have no error in compilation (QNX namespaces are used), I think that the installation has been correctly executed.

  I went through the same installation on Windows 7 just yesterday and I took the C:\Hyperion\common\JRE and C:\Hyperion\common\JRE-64 files from another 11.1.1.3 install then put in the folder C:\Hyperion\common.

  We have three Aironet 2802i, where one of them is running mobility Express.  (One of them seems to have hardware problems while we get it replaced, but that's another story...)

  When you configure a new WLAN on a mobility Express, which is "Admin State" for?  I was not able to find on the Guide to me what that really means.

  Hi Dennis,

  The "Admin State" configuration option is used to toggle the WIFI. Keep it as "Enabled" will cause the SSID to the AP and diffuse.

  Can you let us know what specific documents are looking for wrt ME on 2800?

• Anyone use mobile dashboards in version 9.0?

  We are now live on the 9.0 version and would like to take advantage of the mobile features. However, we run into several errors. Anyone could pass through the mobile configuration and use the mobile features? Is there something special that you should consider when designing dashboards to the application mobile vs. computer screen?

  Big questions.  I was able to get them running on my iPhone 6.  They do not display the same as on your PC and I thought a lot about designing dashboards to get the cards showing bets on both platforms.

  I'm internal Oracle and get them running on my iPhone, I need VPN running and pointing to the right server.  From there, I can see the cards.

  I found the answer to this error, it's like actually had reinstalled Studio Android, whereby a new directory has been created with the software, called SDK as sdk1. And in my tools-> preferences, path of the plate-shape and tools platform was given as the sdk (old directory). Now, I've updated the path in the new directory as sdk1 and it works fine.

  After deployment, I noticed that this simple Application hardly take 10 minutes for me to deploy and document also produce the same.

  SDkit Android is seems to slow down to see my deployed App

  Is it possible to improve performance, as these things. ?

  See the line from 46 to 48 log says: "something harmful.

  I followed the document as suggested I did int Exchange anything. document that also has the same.

  From my understanding, I have to change the mode while deploying. I also cross check that there is no mode option when creating the deployment profile

  As already mentioned in post using mode of publication, not only didn't it reduces deployment time in minutes (from 10 minutes you specified), but also to reduce the size of archive to a third party.

  If you want to test the browser applications Mobile ADF (those built with components of the Trinity) - then you run your application in the JDev, copy the URL and open in the browser, which is part of the Android emulator.

  If you want to test ADF Mobile apps - you deploy to the emulator, and then start the application like this:

• Update broken Gingerbread Mobile Hotspot?

  Has anyone else you have Mobile Hotspot to work? I have an A953 (unlocked UK) and it upgraded to fine of gingerbread, and I can connect to the Internet on the phone.

  When I run Mobile Hotspot, my laptop can see the phone and connect to it (receive an IP by DHCP). However I can not connect by phone with the rest of the Internet.

  It has something to do with me being on T-Mobile USA? Unfortunately, I'm not really able to test other options, but it would be good to know if it works successfully for others.

  Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I tried to change the APN as suggested, but no luck unfortunately. What frustrates me is that it worked on Froyo just hours before the gingerbread upgrade.

  Would be a reset help? If all goes well, there is a fix that does not go that far.
