Flashing batch file returns the control too fast

Hi I have a frustrating problem with a simple batch file that I am running on a W2003 server. For simplicity, it did something like this:

copy a b
call runprog.exe
If errorlevel 0 goto done
echo "error".
output
: fact
echo 'ok '.

This has been working for a long time, suddenly and only on 1 times out of 10, while it just started running runprog.exe, control is returned in the batch file and it goes to the error condition. On the other 9 times of 10, she does not return control until runprog.exe has finished (as expected).
I reloaded runprog and tried a new copy of c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe. I also tried runprog.exe without the call - the same results.

My conclusion is that something underlying in windows is damaged and he needs fixing with SFC or a recharge, but grateful for any ideas who would not so much here

Thank you very much

  • Automatic execution of the batch file at the connection of the USB drive

I created a batch file that checks the drive e. the presence of a specific file, and if there, copy it to a location on the hard drive. (Drive E is where all USB drives see the place through my window of Windows Explorer.) I would like to set up my computer so that this batch file is executed whenever such a device is plugged into the USB port. How can I accomplish that?

Otherwise, is it possible to incorporate the Attaché-USB-player status in the batch file itself and just leave that batch file running at any time? I used "IF EXISTS E:\*.*", but that is not do me much good, because I have to keep control of this condition again and again, and eventually the batch file gets tired of the audit and said that the drive does not exist.

  • call a batch file in the sql scripts

    Hi friends,
I'm looking for a way to call any batch file in sql scripts. I avoid using the DBMS_SCHEDULER package because my application server and database server are deparaments.
I use the sql script using the server.plz application.

Ah, I see. Of course, this explains everything.

Now to be serious: there is no way to run a batch SQL script. The Tools that present SQL statements to the database are often able to do; host in SQL * Plus may issue commands to the OS, the host of builtin forms is it too and with dbms_scheduler , you can run a shell script on the database server.

So depending on the tools you use, there are several ways to run the OS commands. So far you didn't tell us what you want to do with what tools in the version you want to do. So to only answer is: it is not possible. You cannot run a simple SQL command script.

  • Display the contents of a text file in the control of the chain without changing the format

    Hi all

    I need your help!

Planning the content of the text report file in labview control chain of the GI.

When I read the text file and update the chain control, alignment of text was not appropriate.

but when I open the same text file in Notepad, alignment looks good.

How to solve this problem of text alignment?

    Gramy

You experience the same problem before.

Just use a .net textbox control to display text, instead of the string of LabVIEW.

There is NO need to re - format the string.

  • Disorder of batch file - redirect the contents of the directory in a text file

I wrote a batch file that's used to work (until the upgrade to Win7). The goal of the program is to simply write the contents of a directory in a text file. I currently use the timeout to add to this text file every minute to test the program. That should give me a timeline when the contents of the directory to change throughout the day.

    It's the batch file:

    Here is the result:

The actual file changes in size throughout the day, but the dir command does not seem to recognize any changes being made to the directory.

If I go into the directory in Explorer, the file shows the old size and timestamp and update then immediately to the right size and time. After doing this the batch file now saves the change to the directory, but he will be stuck there until I refresh the directory in Explorer again.

As I said above, it worked on XP but not in Windows 7.

Does anyone have an idea how do the command dir to refresh the directory before you write in the text file? Or ideas of another method to achieve the same goal? I used to work on a Unix workstation and I used 'touch' to perform this function

Thanks in advance for any help,

    Tom

  • Deleted data file update the control file?

    Hello!

I deleted a file from data in a tablespace. It was done on purpose because I have no more need. Unfortunately
I have not updated the database control file, now I get an error message:

ORA-01157: impossible to identify or to lock the 202 data file - see DBWR trace file
    ORA-01110: data file 202: "D:\ORACLE\PRODUCT\10.2.0\ORADATA\MINOTAUR\TMP_01.DBF."

How update the control file to get rid of this error?

I use Windows and exit DB 10.2.0.2.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Christian

I think that I made a mistake of reading here.
Looks like you have deleted a TMP file.

You then have to join v$ tablespace with v$ tempfile in the statement.

    It's a 10 G (or higher) database?

Try to drop the tablespace that belongs to this data file, otherwise recreate the controlfile (needs database is offline)

  • Tracking records of only error Batch file in the BPEL process

    Hello

I'm reading file of 1,000 records from the file adapter and debatching in two instance of each 500 folders. And with the help of written appeal insert in the database operation.

The first batch of 500 cases with success and entered in the database table custom.

The second series of 500 records created WARNING instance with an error message and nothing is written to the database in the second series.
The error is due to erroneous data in a line in the second series of 500 records. Because of this error in row, the 499 left rejected and nothing of the second series is inserted into the database.

We do not have control over the only document of the second set (500records) and BPEL process should write to remaining 499 files of database.

Please help me on this issue. It would be very useful. Thank you inadvance.

    Waiting for your answers.

Can you just clarify something for me.

The first test has worked perfect, correct?

The second test took the expected result, for example 3 valid lines have been correctly loaded. The issue was that the release manager behaves as expected. You expect to see a single line in the file for rejection.

    see you soon
