FledgeHook should run whenever a simulator is started or can I just he start at the beginning of my day?

C:\Eclipse\plugins\net. RIM.ejde\vmTools > FledgeHook

Make FledgeHook every time I start a Simulator or can I start FledgeHook at the beginning of my day and let it run without having to start and stop each session Simulator?

Edit: I started the Eclipse Simulator and run FledgeHook from a command prompt and it runs for about 10 seconds and then closes - I can watch it in the Windows task-> process manager.

Is it supposed to do?

Hi Todd.  Thanks for the clarification and sorry for be not more detailed in my earlier answers.

As you indicated, there are essentially two ways to close the Simulator: out of in the Simulator itself (output, x-button at the top, etc.); Select disconnect from the Eclipse.

In the first scenario, Eclipse closing the Simulator itself, is never notified the fence on win7 64-bit, and if the process is around.  Where the need for a FledgeHook be executed until we can make the plugin do that for you.

In the second scenario, when you click Disconnect in Eclipse, Eclipse 'knows' you try to shut it down and are able to clean the process, without the need for FledgeHook.

In addition, it is only a problem with pre - 6.0 simulators.

Are there opportunities you can test both scenarios that I pointed out and report to confirm that this is actually relevant to your experience?

Thank you!

    any help much appreciated...

    Hi, Leon,

Always include computer make and model, please.  Thank you.

Research in the Bios (reboot and press F1 or F2 depending on your system, check that all usb options are enabled (for example, USB legacy or support for USB 2.0 devices).)

If there is a timeout parameter, set it to Max.

Then, find the boot device priority section

A USB flash drive, which is usually listed as USB - HDD, but may be listed as a removable device, will have a priority very low start.

Rearrange the boot device priority so that the flash drive has a higher priority than the hard drive.

Install Windows XP from USB key

    • Insert the USB key into the USB port on the computer.

    • Open the "I386" folder and find the file "Winnt.exe".

Double-click on the "Winnt.exe" to launch a command prompt BACK to an installation of Windows XP.

Type the path of the location of your "I386" folder in the DOS window. For example, if your USB is the letter "D" in your "My Computer" window, type "d:\i386" without the quotes and press the Enter"" key.

Let the installation program copy the Windows XP installation files on your computer.

Restart your computer to a command prompt. The Windows XP Setup will continue automatically.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. The program will ask you your Windows XP product key in this process.

  • Why it starts at the beginning?

In older versions of Windows Media Player - the system picked up where the last/story/cd/whatever song arrested and the next time I opened the player is where he would have started playing.  In more recent versions of Windows Media Player (that I currently use c. 11), it always starts at the beginning of the very first so I need to find where it ended last time, and restart from there.  I would like to be able to pick up from where it left off - how this can be reset to the to do?

WMP is not a built-in feature to restore the last playback position. However, the Windows Media Player Plus! plug-in adds such a feature in WMP, then I suggest that you try it.

(The plugin official site is down for maintenance at the moment, but you can still download the http://download.cnet.com/Windows-Media-Player-Plus/3000-2169_4-11445552.html plug-in.)

  • Laptop running Windows 7 does not start if the external hard drive is connected

I know what is already on a thread, but here it is again (i.e. thread became uncontrollable anyway and did not offer me solutions). I have an ASUS K53S laptop computer Series and use it as a desktop PC. It sits on my desk and never move, I plugged my larger screen, a keyboard and mouse, printer and external hard drive that I keep all my information on i rarely save to local disk. These things represent more than ports USB to the laptop, I have a hub 4 ports on there also. It is just background information; I mean, the laptop is a must.

Here's the problem: when I start, as I do every morning, I used to see ASUS inspire Innovation - first of all, persistent Perfection for about 1 second, then the laptop will just get on the job and complete its start-up in about a minute (including login). Which was very good until a few days ago when things started slows down a bit, then I rebooted as I always used to with my Windows XP tour. All closed but return is reactivated and it hung on the opening screen of ASUS and show no signs of getting further. I went outside and continued on another work that does not need a computer, thinking that if I ignored it it would be bit go further, but I came back hours later to find that it is always locked.
Well after a little, I took the plug my external hard drive, and he continued to start where he left off, like nothing had happened.
This settled this possibility, but before that, I had established a thing; I need to connect my external hard drive before starting, otherwise it wouldn't connect properly.
When I managed to finally get both going at the same time (Yes, after some persistence, he recognized the drive but I still would like a solution to this when it exists), I looked at the hard drive and all my files are corrupted or something. photos are not valid, some files that I know to have files in appear them as empty and I can't make any sense at all. Is there someone out there who has had this problem before and fixed, and if so, how?
My external hard drive is a Seagate 1 TB, if it helps.
I really want an answer to this, I have data on that disc that I need and I'm not.

If the problem affects only one PC it says its something specific to this PC.

Is there traces of yellow warning in Device Manager?

If there is no warning of the Device Manager, then if you perform a clean boot PC http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796 NB this isn't the manual method the Fixit which helps?

  • only the wallpaper don't start menu icon or start from the beginning. How can I solve this problem?

This problem happened very suddenly... Everything was fine the day before. Thank you

    It's a good start.

Think the process explorer.exe as your office.  If it does not work because the file is missing, you will have no office or the taskbar, or start button until it runs, so you need to replace.

c:\windows\explorer.exe file should never be missing.

It is even difficult to remove on purpose since it's a protected Windows file.

You haven't told us your situation Antivirus antimalware software, but I suspect whatever it is (effectively deleted) quarantined your explorer.exe file.

Since it is a protected file, there should be a copy backup of the file in this folder:

    c:\Windows\System32\dllcache

or, depending on your installation, you might find a copy in this folder:

    c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

You must use the Task Manager to click file, new task, browse... and navigate to these folders and search for a backup copy, and if you find the explorer.exe file, copy (Ctrl-c) and paste then copy it (Ctrl-V) in the c:\windows folder where it belongs to replace the missing file.

Since it should never miss, the backup copy may also be missing, so I put one on my SkyDrive do you can download (sinus your Internet Explorer works) and replace the file c:\windows\explore.exe.

I downloaded a copy of XP Pro SP3 file you need on my SkyDrive (everyone has a SkyDrive for file sharing).

You can download it and when you do, place a copy of the file in these two folders (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):

    c:\Windows
c:\Windows\System32\dllcache (this is where XP keeps backups of important files).

Here is the link to my SkyDrive and you can get the file you need here:

    http://CID-6a7e789cab1d6f39.SkyDrive.live.com/redir.aspx?RESID=6A7E789CAB1D6F39! 311

When you see the files available for download, you will not see the extension of file (.exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys, etc), but when download you them they will have the right extension.

When you download the file (especially if you use Internet Explorer), when you get a chance to save the file, it cannot save the file with an extension (for example, .exe, .dll, .cpl, .sys) then you will need to manually add the extension appropriate to the file when you download the file before you save it.

You can download the file without the extension, and then rename the file to add the appropriate extension.  You do not want to use a file called explore when the name of the file should really be called explorer.exe (if the downloaded file has no extension, you will need to change the name of the file to add the appropriate extension to make it work.

You then put the downloaded files in the correct folders on your system.

That may not solve all your problems, but at least you will be spending this part and we can then fix the rest.

You could also get a copy of explorer.exe from a working system and copy it to a floppy or USB key and use the Task Manager to browse replace the file (in two places)

When the file has been replaced, use use the Task Manager to run this command again:

    %windir%\explorer.exe

    (%windir%\System32 is the c:\windows folder)

    How is it now?

If it looks good, reboot and then run these scans:

I tried to reinstall Windows Vista, but when I put the disc in my pc it did nothing. How can I reinstall the operating system?

    Hello

Startup Repair might not have worked however the SFC, CheckDisk system restore and then even a new attempt of
    Startup Repair might work.

Try the repair to start the Recovery Console (if you have a) or from a disk of Vista - if you have not a
Disk of Vista, you can borrow a friends (they are not protected against copying) or make a. The manufacturer of your system will also
sell cheap physical disks since you already own Windows.

Also from the command PROMPT on the Console (if possible) recovery or a Vista disk

    Press enter

    and after that runs away

    Chkdsk /f /r
    Press enter

    (Spaces between C and / k and / and f and /)

    Retry After Chkdsk startup repair.

    To re - install:

Check with your system manufacturer that they all slightly different methods. They may have included a recovery
Partition or other methods to restore the default value. Also your system manufacturer will sell you the physical disks at a great price

  • Defender starts at the beginning

I recently installed Defender entered instructions program added run on startup but dose not happen

What other security programs you have running? Many as MSE, Norton, McAfee, AVG, etc., will stop Windows Defender because they have the same functionality, and having two programs running at the same time and make security the same work can lead to conflicts. This is by design and must be accepted by the user.

Hello! I'm pretty new to Flash, I consider myself a beginner, but recently I've been commissioned to do an animation for someone! There is a song played in the animation, it is a wav and it is on its own layer. There are also drawings that I imported in too.

My problem is, I want to be able to synchronize the little drawings for the lyrics of the song, but the sound does not play when I starts at 0 on the timeline. If I had to start we are going to say plot of 24, it will not play. Does anyone know how to fix this? • Start at the beginning of a progressive video?

With the help of CS5 Master Collection.

I have a video encoded in a 30 MB FLV using SOUL off body and then created a SWF with Flash using a standard Player skin to get the option full screen which seems not to be available in the DW skins.  This works all fine locally in trials of an HTML page by using the code provided by Flash.

When uploaded to the web server, there is a long delay while the entire file video downloads before replay.

Two years when the last I did I was using an earlier version of the software and remember that there is a parameter to start replay much earlier than that. But I can't find it in CS5.

I tried playerID.bufferTime = 10 in the AS3 code in the SWF without result.

How can I convince the video to begin playing more quickly without waiting for the full download?

    Thanks for some lights.

I would say that the problem is in the .flv... or maybe it's a f4v (flash to a mp4 version).

There is a delay so that the entire file video downloads before replay.

This means that the file is not be progressively downloaded, so length of the buffer has no effect meaning.

Your problem sounds like the issue of MOOV ATOM often lived with mp4 QuickTime files. Index 'movie atom' bringing the size of the file is at the end of the file, preventing the progressive download. The solution to this problem is to exchange the MY to the rear of the backrest forward.
