  I do the flex in a week course. Pain in the ass to see the design mode is gone but good no worries.

  Are you sure that you run the mxml right? A few time to create a new also helps. Sometimes templates html (js files) are absent from this cause an error javascript and nothing to load. Usually, the own generation project done. If you right click on the generated swf file that shows?

  I downloaded the sample files and put them in what I think is the right directory, but they are not displayed in the package Explorer.

  Hey,.

  Flash Builder does not always matter project files that you placed in your workspace file.  You must manually import using Flash Builder by selecting file > import... then to expand the General folder and selection of existing projects into workspace (see image).  Click on the Next button and use the dialog box to select the directory root (your workspace file) and import the projects you want.  All those you select will now be shown in the Package Explorer.

  It really depends on your goals and context.

  But as a general rule, so for now, you want to just get a general programming Flex, don't buy a book, simply go to the help system for Flex 3 (here presented as a LiveDocs link for convenience):

  I am unable to decide on the battery technology for a project that would be initially small and should become huge and planning on a new project.
  I am impressed by the ADF and Flex.A a few days ago, I was leaning towards flex with rails backend and I use rails flex scafollding to generate the user interface.
  
  All the world is a comparative analysis of these two frameworks?
  The series of insider ADF hosted on OTN will include the basic tutorials too? (if I can get more developers interested by this)
  Why Support Oracle based Flex when he could use the ADF?

• Flex 3-1580 - no mode/tablet pc automatic mode switch

  Hey guys,.

  I bought a Flex 3 1580 a week ago. I reformatted the computer because the video drivers have been screwed up, but now when I flip the laptop around tablet mode, nothing happens. The keyboard is Cancel and all, but I no longer get the small pop up asking me if I want to spend. I tried to go in the settings of the Tablet and say things to switch automatically without asking, but it does not work.

  I wondered if maybe I missed a big piece of the software once I reformated because it worked perfectly before, but I have reinstalled all available on the lenovo Web site and nothing helped.

  I tried Googling this problem again and again but I can never find answers, especially for this particular model.

  Really would appreciate help with this. It's not a huge deal because I can swith manually, but it would certainly be nice to have to work as before.

  Wanted to update because I think that I thought about it. The support of yoga page has drivers for 'control mode yoga' which is supposed to be responsible for controlling the automatic modes.

  Figured why not try it on the flex, and everything works as it should now. Not sure why Lenovo does not include drivers on the flex support page.

• Flex overheating 14

  I had problems of overheating for the last days, with my 14 Flex, which has reduced my battery life 1/3 of what it was (2 hours now, compared to 6 hours before). The fan has been all the time. I have been using SpeedFan to check the temperature of the CPU and the GPU, which are respectively 70 and 61 degrees Celsius.

  I've had this laptop in February of this year, and I really need during this exam period.

  Check your Google Chrome Extensions or plug-ins as well. If problems continue to exist with Google Chrome, Google Chrome uninstall it and then reinstall it.

  You can also try these settings to reduce overhead costs, these features are not needed in my opinion and my experience of navigation is fine without them. These settings will reduce the overall workload. There are many things that you can try here.

  Keep in mind that you can always use Internet Explorer in your reviews and figure out later if you can't find the problem in time. Or maybe Firefox.

  

• Flex 2-15: how access BIOS

  I bought a new Flex 2-15 online last week. The name of the model indicated on the back is "20405. Manufacture date is May 12, 2014. The User Guide refers to a "Novo Button", which is shown in the diagrams as being on the left edge to the right edge near the front. No location has a button any. The right side has a pin hole at the supposed location of button. A curved arrow icon is next to the pinhole. I have an idea, maybe it's a kind of reset factory button. The Novo button is missing, what is the procedure to access features that the manual says are accessible by pressing this key does not exist? In other words, BIOS and/or that borders image backup/restore system?

  Please take a look at page 9 of the manual. Only the Flex2-14 models have the novo button (point 7) on the left side near the input jack audio combo (point 6).

  Manual page 10 shows the left side of your Flex2-15 with no opening button / next to the input jack audio combo (point 7), and manual page 15 shows the right side of your Flex2-15, exactly like your image.

  Have you tried gently, use a paper clip into the opening to see if it is just a recessed button?

• Lenovo flex-2 14 keyboard and touchpad with irregular response

  Hi guys,.
  I recently bought a lenovo Flex 2-14"a. It's been almost two weeks now, and I'm suddenly in the face of this problem.
  The keyboard and touchpad all guard be offline sometimes. The backlight continues also to Flash when turned on. Meanwhile, I'm not able to receive a response via the keyboard and the touchpad. It's like a bad connection. Starts to turn on and off!

  Looks like I found the solution! I recently came across another post on this forum, where user reported his g5050 showing similar symptoms as mine. A lenovo admin had suggested that it might be due to overage charges stored on the laptop, causing the whole f on the keyboard and the touchpad to act as its loosely connected.

  Solution:

  As soon as I find my cell phone charged, immediately I removed the seizure of power enter the laptop!

  And now, its all working fine!

• Flex 2 network slows down the entire network

  I bought a Flex 2 a few weeks ago. Installed the software Office 365 and creative cloud by Adobe. Everything worked well on both networks, I connect to.

  Today, performance on the entire network is now gone to the dogs. At first, I suspected the provider or router so crossed all the routines of standard service (this disconnect, which reboot) again and again. Same face, deadly slow performance of several PC and Mac on the network.

  Then, I hit on the idea to close my Lenovo. Suddenly, network download speed of 2 MB/s and the ping from 2000 MS to more normal speeds returned.

  I restarted the Lenovo a couple of times, from 2, 4 GHz to 5 with the same result.

  At some point when I plugged the Lenovo directly into the modem (part of the diagnosis) direct speed seemed faster.

  Because the router works perfectly with all the other machines and I haven't changed a thing on it, and because the symptoms get carried away on the network when the Lenovo is cut, I can only assume that there is something to do with the Lenovo Flex 2 and how it communicates with the rest of the network.

  I should also add that I tried to plug an ethernet cable to make sure that it wasn't just a wireless thing. Still had the slow performance.

  I'm pulling my hair out over this, if I can't fix it, I can't work (no one in my office will be able to work) and will have to return the machine...

  Any ideas?

  After much pulling hair and analysis where the traffic was, it turns out it was a Microsoft cloud service a too aggressive drive that decided to download dozens of large files at the same time instead of in series. This excessive series of connections slowed down the rate of time and transfer of ping everything on the network. Disable updates for OneDrive during periods of work seems to have solved the problem.

  That said, working on this, I see that updates from Lenovo is continually a significant overhead. Do not understand why it takes so resources...

• FarSync Flex

  Hello everyone,

  Has anyone used a synchronous serial adapter named FarSync Flex made by FarSite? I have some problems to use with LabVIEW. Any information on this would be really useful.

  Sadly I didn't buy a tool named SDK which is set almost mandatory to work (sellers don't warn me on this subject). I had been in contact with Support FarSite for more than two weeks and they had sent me a decent manual could not help out me. Today, they closed our conversation. And, for some reason, I won't be able to buy boxes to SDK tools.

  Luckily I found this example NOR community: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-30584. The process uses the example I had to install a .dll library.

  Even though it's very simple, example and the library .dll to connect LabVIEW with the card. However, there is a flaw on this VI. When the Flex FarSync ceases to receive data, the VI let the latest information on the string, making it seem that it continues to receive data. I want to erase that string when it ceases to receive data. The problem is that I don't know how to detect inside LabVIEW that she has ceased to receive data.

  Given that I had to install a .dll library, I am very limited to the example, and yet, I couldn't find an answer to my problem. I tried to change the .dll library, but I'm not very familiar with this type of file.

  Yes, I managed to solve my problem. It was not a good solution, but it worked.

  The problem was that the string variable, making it seem that he was still receiving data is not clearly when he stopped to receive data. So I just do things in the following for each loop reading order:

  (1) read the received data

  (2) save it in a queue

  (3) delete the variable string

  This way I can also detect if I get data (when the variable string has nothing).

  I thought it would be something more sophisticated, I thought that I had to change something from the dll library, but it was easier than I imagined.
