Flight Simulator ' t save file

Hey Microsoft, so when I try to save my file airlines in fsx, a message appears saying: make sure that the file and the path is correct. I do it again and the same thing happens. What should I do? This same thing happens if I try to save a texture of an aircraft. Pleas help.

-Vibhot

Hello

You may need to correct path name that attempts to save the file.  Moreover, it must be likely in a .cfg file in the folder to install the game.

You must open the .cfg file in Notepad and check where to save the files to and make the necessary corrections.

  • Flight Simulator FS9.cfg file does not accept the changes

I am running Msft FltSim2004 under Windows 7 Professional. I had to make additions to the FS9.cfg file (it takes changes in txt in Notepad). It is a hidden file located in C:\Users\{my name} \AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9. After that I have to make the changes and close the file, and restart FltSim, I still get the error that the change was supposed to eliminate FltSim. When I check FS9.cfg, the change I've made is no longer there.

I changed all the c:\ folder permissions down to FS9, as well as the permissions in the FS9.cfg file. But it still does not accept the changes. Everything else works fine under Win7. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Art,
Try to copy the file to your desktop (or another folder), and then delete one located in the FS9 folder.  Make the changes to the copied file and simply save it to the new location.  Reopen the case to check the changes remained, and then copy it in the FS9 folder and test.  Let us know the results.

  • How can I change a cfg. file on Flight Simulator?

I need to change the file cfg for a plane in Flight Simulator X to increase the power of the brakes. Laptop will allow me to change the line of code in the file, but when will saved leaves me no copy / paste to replace the original code. Windows 7 seems to be designed to block changes to the files. We call her "Auntie" as my aunt always knows better and we naughty "children" shouldn't be messing with the files. As long as administrator, I is uncomfortable to be told that I am seen deny access to files on my computer. How can I replace this obstruction and change the file? I had this problem with the laptop before blocking things by aging the copy and paste facility.

Open Notepad as administrator, right click on the Notepad icon, and then select run as administrator.

Then open your .cfg file in Notepad. You should now be able to edit and save it.

    Sarcasm isn't pretty.

    What can I do?

    Hello

    1. which edition of Windows are you using? Is - this edition is 32-bit or 64-bit?

Given that the game is compatible with Windows 7, I suspect that the conflict can be 32-bit or 64-bit architecture.
The link below shows the compatibility of this game with Windows 7.

    Method 1.
We must ensure that the edition of the game must correspond with the operating system.
If you use 64-bit in this game, you need the 64-bit Windows to install it.
    Method 2.
If the above information matching I you recommend to start the computer in clean condition and then try to install the game.
See the article below for instructions on how to start your computer in a clean boot state.

Note: When the diagnosis is complete, don't forget to reset your computer to normal startup. Follow step 7 in the above article.

    I hope this helps.

  • Combat Flight Simulator won't save is no longer a new campaign

I tried to launch a new campaign in 3 bag after beating the HUN. I created a new American character and flew the 1st mission. Then I dutifully saved the campaign according to the instructions of the obvious. After leaving the game, I tried to continue with the new character. But NO! Quietly, the bloody game had refused to register this new character. He only would allow me to use characters that I had already beaten before Nazis! At gibts? Deutsch for "what happened?" I have already unloaded the game and reloaded it's new. Thanks for ANY help.

Failed to install Microsoft Flight Simulator, Version Deluxe 2010. I am running Windows 7 Ult 64 bit. The program will not install, it's an error that it cannot find the file. I tried everything, but it does not install. This is the full version of three discs.

I am convinced that Flight simulator is not intended to be run on a 64-bit computer that is very disappointing. I have a program which should install without all the aggravation I had to endure. If you run them 64-bit machines do not buy this product. I tried since it first came out. I feel at the moment where I get it going it will be a version dated date out. Wait until there is a version dedicated 64-bit, you will save yourself a lot of grief. I have an Asus dual core Centrino 2, 2.6 GB h. computer laptop with 4 GB memory. I install my DVD direct program. It worked when the computer is a 32-bit computer.

What finally worked for me when I tried to install MSFSX Gold Edition has been that I copied the disc 1 FS to my office.  Then I copied the contents of the FS 2 disc and put the files in the same folder.  When're asked you if you want to replace the files with the same name on both drives say no.  It seemed to work well for me when nothing else did.

I haven't read of anyone doing this exactly, it's my own invention/workaround bit AFAIK. Hope this works for all of you who cannot make it work otherwise.

    System:
    ASUS G50v-t
Intel Core 2 Duo Centrino 2, 2.26 GHz
    NVIDIA GeForce 9800 m GS 512 MB
    4 GB of Ram
    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

I tried to adjust the size of swap file, and I have tried no pagefile.
But I still get this error Message When I try to start FS9.

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64 - bit Edition
    : AMD Athlon (TM) 9550 Quad-Core processor
    (Vivid RAM) memory: 6.00 GB

You must specify a linker flag this option in the header of the image of fs9.exe because FS9 is a 32-bit application and use 2 GB of virtual address space.
With the indicator largeaddressaware under your 64 bit OS, it is possible for FS9 to use up to 4 GB of address space.
Get the SBB Explorer (http://ntcore.com/exsuite.php) open fs9.exe, header to open the file then click on 'Click here' and mark "App can handle > 2 GB addresset", save and close fs9.exe.

As a preventive safeguard your fs9.exe before if something goes wrong.
