• Problems with (films) coating of the lens on the surface of the canon lenses.

  I read many comments here about how to clean the surfaces of the lens... I wonder if canon films that they promote as do wonderful things for development are not so great for cleaning? I bought an expensive lens not for long and cleaned with either lens clothing tending my opthomologist after my appointment to look for my glasses... I collect these sweet little squares, whenever I have an appointment to the eye because they are made for the purpose of cleaning of lenses... Houston is a very humid climate and after doing some night shots the lens seems sticky and so I polished with the soft cloth... I have not added any sort of cleaning liquid... but I noticed when I had finished there was a blue smear on the entire surface of the lens... Really? I have not used any more pressure than the kind of pressure that you can use to clean your glasses.  This bluish smears can be removed or is permanent damage to a dear surfface...? Now I must say that I didn't notice that this smear has affectd of my photos... I found one in post processing which presents a particular lighting problem which could be linked to the surface of the lens... Other people have had problems with the 'coatings', which are added to the surface of the lens? I would like to add at least two lens more... but I'm afraid to invest again if I rish damage the surface of the lens even Polish with a soft cloth?

  Well, I think because I became so addicted to photography... I can't stand that a week shoud go I'm not shooting and post processing... then the most important investment I did in a lens so far is 800 dollars... so as you say the investment of 50 million dollars for the protective lens cover is my best insurance...

• Where can I get (outer shell) laptop protection films?

  I have a question may seem silly to many people.
  My Lap top Satellite U400, was delivered with a protective film on the outside of the cover/screen.
  I never took it away because the underlying surface of the cover seems to be very scratch.
  After many years of good service, I need to replace the film with a new.

  Anyone know if these movies are provided by Toshiba, or can suggest me a web provider of external protection films address the top of Tower (no screen)

  This film you have now is fixed on each new laptop and will be in the finalisation of the product to protect the new product. As I know these films of identical protection not available as part of the Toshiba options and accessories so online, you need to check if a similar product is available on the market.

  Visit the nearest computer shop and ask them if they have something similar.

  No, flixster films are ultraviolet, they are not compatible with iTunes

• W550s touch screen comes with a protective film?

  So I just got the W550s with the touch screen. I noticed that the surface of the matte screen is actually a plastic film. (You can tell the cutting around the camera and microphone)

  (2) if I had the take off, it shouldn't affect the function touch, right?

  If it is similar to the X 1 carbon, it is a screen protector and is not intended to remove, is why it has the cutting out of the camera and the microphone.

• When Windows Media Player is available for Surface RT so that I can play my Disney movies to the digital copy are a format WMV DRM?

  I have dozens and dozens of Disney films to digital copy in DRM'd WMV format that I downloaded from the packs of Disney DVD/Blu Ray / Digital Download that I bought.  They play fine on Windows Media Player on Windows 8 Pro.  But there is no media player everywhere where they will play on the Surface RT. I think it was very bad judgment and taste do not include Windows Media Player with Windows RT.  Before purchasing a program to remove the DRM and convert the file format, I have no way to watch the movies I paid for and legitimately possess as digital copies on my RT of Surface. The #1 reason why I bought a Surface RT was so that we can watch movies on the go. I'm really disappointed in the experience of the RT and the value for money. When Microsoft released Windows Media Player for Windows RT to correct this gross oversight?

  Hey there,

  The short answer is probably never. Surface RT doesn't have a license to play DRM content, so unless Microsoft Gets a license, you will not be able to play your DRM WMV files... or can you?

  Basically, you need to download a DRM remover, run it and transfer it to the surface. It explains how to convert the format of WMV to mp4 say however, there are enough apps in the store play WMV files that you shouldn't have to be converted if you do not want. With respect to the transfer to the surface, personally, we use Skydrive, but you can use any method you want. In addition, you do not have to use the Remover suggested in the article, now that you know that they exist, you can search and find your own.

• Why are my films purchased not appearing is not on video Xbox?

  I was buy movies through video of Microsoft services because it is the Zune Marketplace. Bought some of my older movies like Iron man 2, Expendables and Kick-* appear, but some others do not. I bought the movie Sucker Punch twice, both the regular and extended cut. Which none does not appear in my library of movies on my Surface, ' Xbox360, or your laptop. I originally downloaded the movies on my old PC, but even to copy the copy on my Surface or the laptop does not work because of the DRM. X - Men First Class was bought and did the same thing as well. Sucker Punch is showing again available for purchase digitally on the site and it asks me to buy, once again. I had already bought the Blu - Ray version, so buy me still would be to buy the film for a 4th time! This is ridiculous. The whole point of buying the film is I can watch it at a later date. Then they make it unavailable to you, what's the point? The tell you to download for your protection, but its cargo with DRM so if you never change computer or peripheral DRM makes your useless copy. This isn't like I wouldn't be able to watch my copy of Blu - Ray, if I never changed to Blu - Ray players. It becomes crazy, that's why people don't want to go digital. The technology is great and amazing, but with all these restrictions to your own stuff, its no wonder people don't want to go digital. Is there anything I can do to be able to watch the content, I've already bought, twice by Microsoft services and now been locked on?

• How to create screencasts of Excel using Surface RT

  Firstly I would like to say that I like and if not love my Surface RT. It's the best product quality/price/service currently available in the Tablet market.

  Lecturer at the University of applied sciences, Amsterdam, I would like to do a screencast / video of my PowerPoint courses but also Excel.

  About PowerPoint, I found a solution (export in jpg format, and then create a screencast with an application called registration & pen)

  It is there by chance, a way to create a screencast on a windows Surface RT? It may even be to make screenshots of half a second... and putting them together in the form of film. Let's get creative as long as I am able to create a screencast of Excel.

  I can't imagine using 8.1 with miracast and the HD streams? or create a script that automatically generates screenshots. .... Whatever... Or better yet an application dedicated in the subway?

  PowerPoint allows you to save your files in the form of a series of images.  But Excel cannot do this.

  A metro app can't do, because it can not 'see' the office (they are isolated for safety and reliability, the new app for the metro model).

  If it wasn't RT, you can use an Excel macro to do something like that, but macros doesn't work either on the RT.

  My best advice would be to try using Excel web app via skydrive. Make your public folder so that everyone can watch as edit you it.

  @Kate.  Thanks for the suggestion. I can stream from xbox app and I can download on my laptop and desktop. However I am unable to download the RT of Surface. I actually downloaded a TV or film to the Surface of the RT program to you?

  I have a pro, and I'm confused in the same way.  It tells me to download for offline consultation, but doesn't give me an option, or tells me how...

  I thought about it!  I accidentally slipped upward from the bottom of the screen and the lower left corner has revealed an option to 'download' or 'delete '.  I hope this works for the RT too!

• Movies at home on the Surface

  I transferred a few home movies from my laptop (Windows Vista) to my Surface.  When I try to play videos, they give me errors of compatibility.  This is the standard movies taken on a Sony camera.  What should I do to play on my Tablet?

  Well, there is no such thing as 'standard films' :) each file type and codec will have its own properties, and looks like it does not recognize the application you use to play the videos.

  Suggestions:

  . use a different application of the video

  . re-encode the video on another computer to a different format

  . use a different on your camera, if possible format

• Try everything LR & PS CC (2015) on Surface Pro 2 Core i5 (1.9 GHz double heart) and 8 GB of RAM

  I needed to get a Tablet for attaching purposes and want to use Lightroom CC (2015) and watched a renovated Surface Pro 2 with the Core processor i5 (the version that has a basic stock of 1.9 GHz speed and is a dual core, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD).

  It has the Intel HD4400 graphics and up to 1.7 GB memory graphics.

  My only other option, that would be running me twice, is a Surface Pro 4 with Core i5, who works at a speed of 2.4 GHz and Intel HD520 graphics (which from what I've read, are very similar to the HD4400 and the difference is not very noticeable).

  Can someone tell me if LR and PS CC 2015 will work on it for basic stuff (tethering, light photo editing, etc.)?  My main goal is engaging with the Tablet as my laptop ordinary (which weighs 7 pounds and a 15 "screen) is not possible for use on the field during the filming (I do landscapes and nature).

  From what I've observed, performance can vary greatly between computers that seem to have exactly the same specifications. Performance can be affected by how you have personally set up the computer and other unknown factors. If you really want to know, just try it.

• 14 PE format of a film produced on Blu - ray

  I produced a few films with EP 14 and I noticed a difference in format on the obtained depending on the choice of serious on a DVD or a Blu - ray. In 2 cases, MPEG plug-in a file source 720 x 480, but when I play the DVD on my got, the film occupies the entire surface of the obtained while if I watch the same movie on a Blu - ray so I find myself with black on the side bands of the obtained.   It is indeed the case. When I said that the content of the Blu - ray disc looks like the same format as DVD discs on my TV, I wanted to say that I find myself with a 720 x 480 format. I have reversed my intervention by saying that now my DVD disc content looks the same as my Blu - ray; 720 x 480 or 4:3 with black bars on each side.

  The solution for me was to change the settings of my Blu - ray player and forcing the full screen format to normal.

• What makes the image stick to one element of a film zoom

  I'm just getting started with Adobe After Effects and have met a big challenge for me now.

  I have a very short film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqG6yLnzBR8 & feature = youtu.be and a small thermostat on the wall.

  The thermostat becomes bigger and bigger, at the same time circling. My task is to add a logo of company at the bottom of the thermostat.

  Of course the logo must stick to this thermostat and the circle with it so that nobody notices that its a layer applied.

  Is it possible to achieve this with 3d without the camera approach mode motion tracker? Only in mode "Track Motion"?

  "P.S. mode camera approach is not available because I get analysis resolve failure screen when I try to start the function of" trail camera.

  It's really frustrating, I tried to convert avi to any other format without result ;/

  There not enough detail in this one for camera tracking and is not what you want anyway. Inside of AE the way to achieve this is to start at the end, turn on tracing, select corners of follow-up, and follow back until the track fails that the thermostat is reduced. You will have an image full screen transparent which has the logo of the company exactly in the right place. You apply the corners followed by the logo and it will not break in the right place.  As the camera pulls back and the track becomes unstable fix you a point in the layer and use transparency keyframes to reveal the logo.

  What should be done is a texture applied to surface of th the thermostat inside the 3D application that was used to create the shot.

  I bought Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Blu Ray in April and it came with an iTunes and/or the Google game code to redeem the film. I bought it on iTunes, but I wonder. It is essentially a way to get the legit iTunes version for free, or is it a different version?

  Also I had people telling me that it is not safe to buy digital copies of movies, but I don't know why it wouldn't?

  After reviewing your post, it sounds like you want to know if the redeemed code is an iTunes movie Store and if it is safe.
  I recommend you read this article, it has additional information on the purchase of a code. If you redeem the code in iTunes than it is from the iTunes Store. It is available to be downloaded later as a purchase, so you don't lose your content.
  

  If you choose the later versions, you can download your movie from the iTunes Store: in iTunes, go to the iTunes Store. Select movies from the menu in the upper left corner, then click on purchased under film quick links on the right hand side of the iTunes Store window. • Film vs my photo stream

  I tried to move photos from my iPhone to my iMac.  I connected my iPhone to my iMac.  613 photos to import.  Photos of 613 were in my camera.  I have 974 photos in my iPhone photo stream.  What is the difference between the film and my photo stream.  We should I import to save the photos from my iPhone to my iMac and then transfer them to an external hard drive.  Thanks for your comments and help.

  Camera Roll is home to these photos taken on your iPhone.  Those are the ones that must be imported.

  Photo stream is similar to iCloud photo library and is home to the photos that are already able to share.  They are not necessarily taken on the device that houses.
