Focus Magnifier button sony a99

Hello

I have a question for shooting video on the A99 motorway. When I chose the M (manual setting of the photo) on the recording of the camera and press the shutterspeed automatically adjust when moving in a different light setting. My question is how can I disable this? I put it on manual without a bit of luck.

Now when I turn to the video mode on the camera I can choose the MANUAL mode and then I can adjust the shutterspeed and apenture, but then I can't use the magnifying glass to focus.

In conclusion I want to use the parameter M on the camera so I can use the magnifying glass to focus, but how do I set the shutterspeed and apenture?

Kind regards

Sam

Hello Sam,.

Unfortunately, the Focus Magnifer function is not available in video mode.

Kind regards

Charlie

  • I use CS3 & with 7.2 download still cannot open the Raw files of the camera Sony A99

    It is a real setback until compatibility occurs. Someone at - it the answer?

    Hi ecoessays1,

    Unfortunately the CS3 does not support the Camera Raw plugin 7.2. Here is a list of Applications Adobe compatible Raw. In the list, you can see that Photoshop CS3 only supports Camera Raw 4.0 through 4.6. That being said, the list of cameras supported plugin Raw indicates that you need at least 7.2 plugin.

    That being said, you'll need to upgrade your version of the CS6 software or creative cloud (CC) to support Camera Raw on your Sony A99. 11 elements of Photoshop and Lightroom 4.2 and above all also supports Camera Raw for your camera model.

    I hope this helps!

  • Lightroom v. 3.6 and Sony A99 RAW does not match

    I recently bought the new Sony A99 camera, but it seems that l.v. 3.6 does not support this (new aparently) type of RAW images.

    What I have to buy the L.v.4 or can I use c. 3.6 with change some settings?

    Thank you

    If you want to stay with raw files, either switch to Lightroom 4 (4.2 or later is required) or you can download the free Adobe DNG Converter and convert your raw files to DNG, which would then be recognized by your current version of 3.6 LR.

  • System Audio XLR - K1M & Sony A99 / how to import 2 audio tracks?

    As stated in the subject, I use a XLR - K1M with a Sony A99 and I can't seem to find a way so that it can record 2 channels at once.

    I can keep it on the channel 1/2 to save, but when I bring it in adobe first he comes in as 1 track audio instead of 2 audio tracks separated.  Am I missing a step here?

    Non-linear editing, a tool that should be part of Adobe first. Unfortunately we don't really support third-party software. The goal is to separate the channels into two separate tracks. Contact Adobe for additional help.

  • Sony a99 and flashes wireless

    I bought a second one for flash my a99 recently in hopes of using 2 flashes in mode without wire - but, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work (or maybe I'm doing somehting wrong)

    I have f56 and Sony f42. F56 is set in wireless mode (the Red led blinks) and my f42 lies on the camera (connected through the adapter) and it is also set in wireless menu mode (Fn key). Tried to change these 2 flashes autour but one that is not connected to the camera never fires.

    Any ideas on what I might hurt?

    This is what I understand of these cards, wireless remote control, no trigger.

    In the note, they say that they require the F58 F43, models.
    They are the new models that provide wireless (trigger) controllers

    http://photo-tips-online.com/news/2011/Sony-HVL-f43am-Flash-vs-Sony-HVL-f42am-Flash/
    As he mentions here, the F42 cannot be a *, so that even if the F56 had the function of wireless control, the F42 doesn't have the remote function to use.

    But from the charts, I'm sure that the F56 isn't a wireless trigger - but I could be wrong.

    However, even if it is possible, even once, the F42 hate.

    If your only option is to have the main flash triggering the other flash via flash. If I remember correctly, is that optical trigger - based on another source of light flash to be triggered.

    Then put the second flash * mode and the main firearms with the camera.

    If you plan to have two cameras off camera, you will need to use a separate radio trigger, so you can wireless trigger for both.

  • A99 magnifying glass

    Anyone has any suggestions on a good magnifying glass to the A99 motorway?

    Thank you

    Kirk

    Unfortunately, we do not manufacture magnifiers magnifying glass for A99 cameras yet. We currently have lemons for an older DSLR, and we have no information when it currently exists in the A99 boxes but feel free to check out this link http://store.sony.com/ from time to time for possible availability or release of this accessory.

    For now, you might want to try the steps below to the development of precision:

    1. Set your camera to manual focus

    2. Press Fn and find fashion Focus

    3. Once the highlight Mode, set it to the DMF

    4. Press the Smart teleconverter button

    Note: You can do the focus ring to refine the development while pressing the shutter button halfway down.

    If you choose to use a magnifying glass magnifying glass you can see the third-party manufacturers, however, we cannot confirm the compatibility of these magnifiers as we have not tested.

  • The future of Sony a-mount DSLT

    Hello,
    My name is Dr Neil Ridgway and I've been interested for a while in upgrading my old camera (a Nikon) to a Sony a-mount FF system such as the a99. I see the benefits of using the Sony a99 over the Nikon / Canon range of DSLRs e.g. the EVF, IBIS, SLT, AF etc. However over the last year to 2 years I have not done that since I have heard about "updates" to this range of professional cameras e.g. improvements in AF, better lenses etc. The eventual release of the a77II seemed to support that.

    I was expecting to hear something about the new range of cameras and / or lenses at Photokina (one of, if not, the largest european photography show) on the 15/09/2014. At the press event the only a-mount news was "we have a a77II" and that was it.

    Funnily enough I was quite disappointed with this and looking at several forums I can see that there are tens of thousands of very upset people regarding the lack of information about the future of Sony A-mount cameras and lenses. I understand the focus is on e-mount, the new compact FF camera, but to have no news or even a lens roadmap for a-mount is a bit concerning.

    Why would I invest in the a-mount FF professional camera system, if the future is uncertain?

    I found this quote from one of the forums -

    "We have heard NOTHING from Sony about the future of this line. We NEED some communication. We need some sort of signal. If A-mount is going to be put on the back burner, or discontinued entirely, we deserve to know about it so we can make plans to move to Canon or Nikon."

    Looking at the forums a lot of people are already doing that. If your intention is to make people move over to Nikon / Canon you are doing the right thing.

    I understand there is a rumor that you might announce something in January 2015 but that might be too little too late.

    You need to say something now. If you think this is just one person having a rant - have a look at the followinig forums.

    I'm quite puzzled by the lack of transparency wth Sony concerning the future of the mount.  Sony should realize they need to appease users mount, tempted by the competing DSLR mounts constant progress.

    Sony, let us know what you're doing with mount!  If we're going to be all FE all the time from here, on a large, but we need to know.

  • Download firmware Sony and software IObit "failed" repeatedly?

    I had intermittent problems with the download failures. Today, I tried an update of the firmware of Sony A99 and he failed twice. I dropped Fire fox and used IE. Result was quick and my camera has the most recent Version.

    I tried a few months ago the install a new version of the software IOBit and abandoned. Now, I think it is Firefox that causes the "" failure ".

    John

    Exactly! It is the purpose of assistance to solve problems, not not to deny them. It's frustrating when comments are simply ignored.

    I'll forward your comments to the Mozillian developers and hope that work on the subsequent updates will include improving the question.

    Because now that ends this thread, so might want to flag the discussion as resolved so that the thread was duly filed.

  • Focusing issues

    I have some terrible problems focusing on the Sony Bloggie Touch and I need help!
    I purchesed the Sony Bloggie about a month ago and found a few weeks later the autofocus on the carmera got worse whenever I turned on the camera. Now, he won't quite focus and acted accordingly for about a week. I've updated to the 1.05 and it made no difference. Can someone tell me how to solve this problem? If this is not the case, should I replace with a new Sony Bloggie camera or do you recommend another? Thank you!

    Hello

  • MS point 5000 laser wireless mouse does not work, but scrolling and magnifying glass works

    My point of 5000 MS wireless laser mouse does not work, but work wheel Magnifier button and scroll.  What could cause this problem?  I there something wrong with the mouse or something should be cleaned?  This is the first question I had after 3 years of use.

    I have not any hardware or software changes, and the problem is constant, not specific to any application.

    I restored my system to my latest backup when the mouse was working, but it has not solved the problem.  The software update has not solved the problem.

    I installed a different mouse, which works very well. The wireless mouse does not work on another system, I assume that it's broken and I will replace it.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

  • Sony Alpha DSLR camera without mirror works with 700si Minolta lenses?

    I'm in the market for the mirrorless alpha DSLR series. I have my minolta maxxum 700si minolta lenses. I heard that sony purchased Minolta camera technology and used the same mounts of lens for the new sony cameras. Is this true? I really don't want to buy the unit to see if the lenses to adapt and villages do not work.

    Thank you.

    Your Minolta lenses works perfectly on any of the SLR from Sony (three digits model) and boxes (two model numbers) I AM as is. Sony mirrorless cameras (a digit and four-digit numbers model) can be used with an adapter. Sony sells two adapters, THE-EA3 ($200) that takes in charge THE-EA4 ($350) , which supports the AE and AF (although slowly.) but not AF and AE

    Sony mirrorless body are nice, but adding the adapter makes bigger, heavier and more expensive than the SLT/SLR bodies, and they do not work as well.

    I suggest that you take a look at Sony A99 ($ 2,000), A77 II ($900) or A58 ($450).

  • Icons buttons on a toolbar

    I may have missed something, but someone can you please provide a simple example of how to create a toolbar where the buttons are square and contain only icons? I want to create something similar to the toolbars of the icon buttons in NetBeans. I can't find a way using code and/or css. Thanks in advance for any help.

    I want the buttons behave like those of NetBeans which is triggered when the mouse points and a visible 'click' of when you press the left button of the mouse.

    If you apply the following style sheet, you will get something a little more closely the style of button of NetBeans.

    .button {
        -fx-skin: "com.sun.javafx.scene.control.skin.ButtonSkin";
        -fx-background-color: transparent;
        -fx-background-insets: 0 0 -1 0, 0, 1, 2;
        -fx-background-radius: 0;
        -fx-padding: 0.166667em 0.833333em 0.25em 0.833333em; /* 2 10 3 10 */
        -fx-text-fill: -fx-text-base-color;
        -fx-alignment: CENTER;
        -fx-content-display: CENTER;
    }

    .button:focused {
        -fx-color: -fx-focused-base;
    }

    .button:hover {
        -fx-background-color: -fx-shadow-highlight-color, -fx-outer-border, -fx-inner-border, -fx-body-color;
        -fx-color: -fx-hover-base;
    }

    .button:armed {
        -fx-effect: innershadow( three-pass-box, derive(-fx-pressed-base, -30%), 10 , 0 , 0 , 0 );
    }

    You can consult the reference guide http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2.0/api/javafx/scene/doc-files/cssref.html and play with it a little more to get the exact look you want.
