Folders pro XP on Vista pc cause conflicts for D-Link Rangebooster desktop adapter

Your desktop HP hand gave a blue screen with message virus in trunk upwards. So... after a lot of trial and error and reading MS support Info for the error message I was able to do the system recovery and took it back to the factory settings. But in this process, I tried to start with a new XP pro disk I had. Therefore, I'm done with XP loaded on Vista system files. When I tried to do on the internet it seemed to be a problem with the wireless network adapter, which prevented the system startup completely. Then... I deleted the wireless network card drivers and that's fine. But... now I can't on line wireless and the computer isn't near a network cable. I think if I could remove the XP files I might be able to install the drivers for D-Link.  Of course, I am able to get me in trouble, but not enough knowledge to get out me. I thought that another solution would be to get rid of Vista and install XP pro, but I don't know if this is possible. MS.com does not seem to give instructions for the classification.

A third alternative: I ordered a copy of the system 7 before its release to put on my HP laptop. I was preparing to upgrade when the laptop was stolen along with the disc in the DVD player. I still have the 64-bit disk. I tried to ask MS.com if there was no way to check and see if the 32-bit original license was used, but I can't access the ID of product without the disc. The # does not appear on the label of Authenticity on the box. Any idea where I might be able to access so I can at least ask about the license?

You have problems with programs

  • Recent changes to your computer

I'm sorry, but we don't know what XP files you have installed.

My original advice stands: Reinstall Vista.

And I also advise you how to get replacement software:

    Hello

I don't know if I'm here the XP OS but I post because it is OS related.

My Satellite Pro A200 (PSAE7) works well with XP but I want to create a sandbox (partition) for/with Vista.

Basically, I know that it is possible to run XP and Vista on a system. * Goal *, computers laptops satellite Pro A200 are delivered with a BIOS for XP and Vista, and with the information you need to install the right pair. For me, this means that you will install the BIOS for XP when running BIOS for Vista and XP in Vista.

    Question:
Is it possible to install Vista on a Satellite Pro A200 with XP as main OS and have installed XP BIOS?
Boot loader would be Acronis OSS like this charger already managing my two XP partitions.

Thank you very much for any information!

    Best regards

    Hello

In my opinion there is no serious reason, why you should t be able to use Xp and Vista on your Satellite Pro A200.

Okay, there's a different BIOS for Vista 64-bit, 32-bit and Win XP, but your Vista should also work using the BIOS for Win XP.

I have other laptops Satellite series and I m able to use XP and Vista at the same time. I mean I have a choice to start Vista or XP ;) and I m still using the old version of the BIOS.
OK some functions are not available as FN keys, but this is not very important for me.

Well, to cut this story, I think you can use Vista and XP without changing the BIOS ;)

  • I have a desktop computer with Vista business I want to upgrade to Windows 7 and install Vista on a laptop that has XP Pro but is Vista capable.

Transfer Vista Business on XP Pro computer.

I have a desktop computer with Vista business I want to upgrade to Windows 7 and install Vista on a laptop that has XP Pro but is Vista capable.

    Hello

If you use the Vista licence as part of the upgrade to Windows 7 you cannot use the license of Vista anywhere elsewhere

It is part of the upgrade process

    and also read this on licensing rules;

If Windows was preinstalled on your computer, Dell, HP, etc., or you bought an OEM/license disk, they are both classified as an OEM license and are not transferable.

The Windows OEM license is linked to the original computer it is installed on and dies with the computer.
You cannot transfer it to another computer/laptop

If a retail Windows license, you can transfer it to another computer/laptop.
But it can only be installed on one computer at a time.

A single license is a single Installation.

  • Problems with Windows XP Pro to Windows Vista computer networking

I'm totally frustrated. I got a home network that worked with a PC running Windows XP Home and a laptop running Vista Basic. Then, I added a PC running XP Pro and it has added to the network. He works for a while and I was able to share files and printers. Then all of a sudden I can't access Windows XP Pro PC to Vista Basic laptop and get the following message:

Not enough server storage is available to process this command. »

I tried the solutions for the "memory insufficient servier" problem but none of them are working and none of them address the element of authorization. Vista Basic laptop can still access the XP computer at home and the XP Pro computer can access the Vista Basic laptop but the laptop Vista Basic responds with the above message whenever I try to open the files on the XP Pro computer.

I tried to reconfigure the network from the Vista Basic laptop, but every time I have save the setup.exe on a flash drive network and then try to run is one of the PC Windows XP he says the information is not readable, and I need to rerun the Configuration Wizard from the network on the original computer. When I try to reverse the process by running the Configuration Wizard from the network on XP computers then the Vista laptop, he fails and suggested that I have configure the network manually. Thanks for posting.

So it may happen that after installing the service packs for the operating system, a device may not work properly.

From now on, there is no need to reinstall vista.

You can also take a look at the article mentioned below.

  • Flash Pro / AIR 20 currently cannot be used for iOS apps? :(

So, two days before you need to download an app on the App Store, I discovered that because of the bugs and flaws in the AIR 20 (version and beta version), there is currently no workflow that allows you to create and distribute an iOS application made in Flash Pro. At least, I can't understand the workarond.

The problems seem to be as follows:

    1. AIR 20 does not add a Flash Pro accompaniment for the moment necessary 167 x 167 for iPad Pro application icon. At least I don't see in my AIR > dialog icons. This means that we spend not more requiremments the Application Loader. I guess there is a way to get the name of the icon file in the file descriptor XML manually, but I have yet to understand what it is. Whenever I opens the AIR and each time I publish it, the XML file is crushed, then even if I manually add the new file icon, it will disappear from the XML when I publish the actual application of Flash Pro.
    2. Even if it this was not a problem, by publishing with AIR 20 currently causes an error for an "unexpected element" in publication in the descriptor XML file. This is detailed in Air 20 app.xml versionNumber number and seems to be linked to AIR 20 writes a < version > node in the XML file rather than using < versionNumber >.

I don't understand why I'm not more discussion on it that Flash Pro apparently not had an efficient workflow for the valid creation of iOS applications from AIR 20 and the new requirements of the Apple icon. I'm the only one who is still developing with AIR + Flash Pro, or is there something really obvious that I'm missing?

Boris, with regard to the second question: at the moment you can leave the version inside the empty Flash CC field (then it won't add a node). And manually set the in the XML file.

Also, I just tested the addition of a node of 167 images in xml, as so icons/ikon167.pngand it has not been replaced when I published from Flash publishing settings. Note that I use AIR version 20.0.0215.

  • Windows Vista Service Pack 2 for update (KB948465) systems focus on x 64

    Hi all:

For several weeks, I get a daily reminder to install the update "Windows Vista Service Pack 2 for x 64-based systems (KB948465)", but whenever I try to install it, it ends up by default, which gives 80246007 error code. If this isn't the case, I can't the notification go away?
