• Image Data Converter for Mac rotation loop

  I have the latest version of Image Data Converter for Mac.  Normally I use Lightroom, but I wanted to try this software because it is designed for Sony raw files.

  The software works pretty well on my Mac Pro 2013, unless there are too many raw files in the directory in which I work, OR, apparently, in the surrounding directories (that is, a library of raw files. organized in folders named after the date  In this case, although the program opens very well (even if it can run for a while at the beginning, no doubt scanning the photos in the folder), attempts to change a raw file quickly causes the program to enter a loop of rotation.  The progress on the operation bar to progress issue (change of saturation, noise reduction, etc.) all the way to the right, then the program hangs forever.  In one case, I waited an hour to see if it would eventually take himself off, but no luck.

  If, on the other hand, I do a new folder outside the hierarchy of photo library, copy all the raw (40 - odd of them) files in the new folder, and then the Image Data Converter point to the new folder, it works very well.

  This is a really special bug.  This means that the software works for people who are only noodling autour, but if someone wants to do a serious blow to a large library of publishing, he can forget it!  This is really not the kind of behavior of Sony would allow.

How is that possible? Then Windows 7 comes out, and with it, not a single program remotely associated with this boom in the huge market that is PHOTOGRAPHY and all that it encompasses. Not even the new SIZER IMAGE that Microsoft added to XP and was a hands down... feeling! Not in Vista and millions of complaints/requests to bring to the rear for - recycle for Vista - all ignored for the next 3 years - not in Windows 7. During this time... Mac sales are sky monte skyrocket. Was this all just too much to ask a simple society... couldn't you have at least thrown buyer of Windows 7 a bone and include the Power Toy Image Re sizer you missed in Vista and add it to Windows 7? I've read articles where other people say the same thing, I am at the moment - all eager to know W H Y?

  The digital camera - videos - etc... the industry has exploded with new technologies and became 'the' new obsession/hobby/interests of thousands or even millions of people - make the pro little people who cared too long at all if they captured a moment on film. How does this "boom" (if you want) in the interest of this leaflet thought eyes and the thoughts and minds of ALL the creative staff at Microsoft... it's amazing really - who are the spirits of power/creation at Microsoft for lack of a better term - IDIOTS... My God - no one is STUPID THAT... because it is simply STUPID.

  If Microsoft (and Microsoft is probably) a SILENCE behind closed doors with say ADOBE to promote ADOBE and AGREEMENT at the same time works back to create whatever it is perhaps at a more reasonable cost that are competing directly with ADOBE and others - and then go out with him... because it's really make Microsoft look STUPID and God knows they have accumulated more than way too many "STUPID" already in the years - come clean on this because this is a HUGE BEAST. And PLEASE...   Large pdf (over 1000 pages) generated files form SSRS crashes when opened in Adobe reader 11 and saved as with "Optimized for fast web view" activated. This saves fine with disabling this option. However, our customers are not ready to accept this solution because they do not want to change any settings. Please suggest if we should create a ticket with microsoft for SSRS allow the generation of pdf quick display of Web pages or is it an option in Adobe to fix this problem without changing the settings.

  As you have indicated, the PDF SSRS seems to have some elements that are quite similar to be supported for fast web view.

  We asked customers to disable the fast web view, but the customer is big enough to make a change individually on their machines and so were looking for a solution.

  I saw in several forums and a few discussions here as well as disable the fast web view option works for pdf fails.

  Which was just wondering if its known that multiple PDFs genarted by third parties may have problems with the optimization, the Save as optimized for fast web view could be disabled by default installation of acrobat reader rather than be enabled by default

  Lightroom does not really work with images cloud storage.

  If you want to archive the images in the cloud, you will need to do this manually and get the images manually. (Which means there are plenty of chances to make a mistake, and so I do not recommend this unless you are sure to 100%, you know what you're doing in both the fine mist of things and with Lightroom)

  Or you could buy an external HD, which are relatively expensive and move the photos here.
