  After you have uninstalled InDesign, it probably left some data still in there:

  / Applications/Adobe InDesign CS5.5/Plug-ins/Graphics/

  Uninstall again, claire out who settle 1.1.1 data, then re - install, install the 1.1.4 FB Panel.

  I know it's a long time ago. And I forgot to get back to you. But the problem solved itself, when I ran an auto upgade of DPS Apbuilder. So now I can get to my folios with CS6 reinstall them and everything is good :-)

• ID no longer sees my iPad via Folio Builder

  I ran into a problem where InDesign CS6 no longer sees my iPad via Folio Builder.  It was working perfectly for weeks in my version of the app.  Was able to perform unit tests throughout the construction, but for some reason any InDesign no longer sees the iPad.  When I connect the iPad to my macbook pro via USB, iTunes detects and recognizes.  I have all the recent software updates that are installed.  I even reinstalled Adobe Viewer app.  I make sure the viewer Adobe is running on my iPad and the cable is connected.  Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

  You must configure the pages of appropriately for the target device. For iPad, it is 1024 x 768.

  You've probably noticed only the layout, not the article or folio.

  When you preview in InDesign using the file > preview Folio or when you click the button Preview in the Panel inlays Folio, you preview a version of raster of the provision itself. • Problem updating articles in the Folio Builder Panel

  I'm trying to update the items in the Folio Builder Panel in InDesign CS6 and I get the following error message: happy build error. Could not open the file. Please confirm the file can be opened in the current version of InDesign. The only option it gives me is to cancel the update. I've only worked in CS6, and I've updated these same items previously. I just get a new upgraded computer here at work, updated to OS 10.8.2 and works on an iMac. I had to have my tech staff to reinstall DPS for CS6 desktop tools. Is there something else I'm missing or not do? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  My problem has been resolved with the help of technical support Adobe. Here is the solution:

  Many times there are volumes network came up with the name "users." This can lead to confusion between the local path:

  / Users

  and the network path:

  / Volumes/users

  1. in the Finder, select the menu command Finder > Preferences.

  2. in the general Panel, check the option "connected servers" is selected under the heading "show these items on the desktop:", then close the Preferences dialog box.

  3. choose the menu command Finder > hide others.

  4. close all open Finder Windows to ensure that you can see all the items on your desktop.

  5. If you find what appears to be a volume mounted with the 'users' name, control + click on its icon, then choose the context menu command Eject "users."

  6. Add or update your article (s).

  The reason for this problem did not come on my old machine, it was my drive of the user has not been configured correctly by an official old tech at my company (I wasn't aware of because I had no problem). Then I got my new iMac and all my servers were mapped correctly, and then I came across this problem.

• Folio Builder - impossible to import several Pages / Single single Pages work

  Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I built folios with unique pages, but when you create a document successfully InDesign (all in landscape) with several pages it comes up with the error "the proportions of page size must match the proportions of folio.  I created the cover and I'm coming up with the error trying to "import" (FYI / I have mirrored, creating folios of the webcast "Terry White").  No problems with a single page document import.  For every document that is created, I used the schooling or _v ensure that enforcement includes their orientation correctly.

  Hi Bob,

  I found the solution and it literally hit me in the face.  When you create a document, you MUST select ' INTENTION: WEB ' vs. the default ' INTENTION: PRINT ", Yes, that obviously makes sense but that has been the question.  Haven't tried the facing pages vs deselected, that should work online with a layout, I'm trying to replicate, but who did.

• Several update is no longer available in Folio Builder

  I've just updated to the new Folio Builder. I found the old man a frustrating that you cannot select several items to update, but at least one article was loading I could start the following. But now I can not do same. I have to sit and wait, watching for when each article updates to start the next. I have many items and some are great. This process now takes forever. I'm not impressed. Is there any work around several updates of the article?

  It was indeed an intentional change. Simultaneous downloads within one account caused corrupted documents. We are unable to provide this functionality because of the risk inherent in the content.

  I think that the suggestion of user interface provide multiple selection-action article is very thin. I'll drop it and take credit for it myself (I'm kidding). It would be certainly worth investigating.

• ADOBE DPS - Look an Article in the cloud of Folio Builder

  Hello everyone

  DPS learning and using Indesign CC and downloaded my folio with articles on my Adobe viewer in the cloud.

  Is on see we in my library on my wife's iPad - BUT when I want to download to view the file, a dialog said "he is ready to download, but have detected my Adobe Content Viewer.» There is also an icon at the base of the file with a page with the strike through line to this topic.

  Am on the last drive of content and no update available - signed to me to the Adobe viewer too. I have no selection dialog on the Folio Builder, which is to say an EXCERPT on MY DEVICE.

  What did I miss not being able to see and swipe the work I've done... Need to wire hard my mac to the ipad with a USB cable as I have heard (even if there is no USB port on this recent model?).

  You must redo your folio with a version of spectator target version 31 or lower. It is a known problem with the version of the viewer target 32 incorrectly being included in the current version of the folio builder Panel.

• Folio packaged on PC and moved to OSX: Folio Builder period.

  I have an Indesign file that we created on a windows 8 PC running Indesign CC.  We now have at the party who requires an apple computer to complete the final stages of editions so I packed resources/files on the PC and uploaded the folder packed into a whole new IMac.

  Once again using Indesign CC, I have the file open on the mac and all the links etc. look good.  When I run the folio however constructor, it is BRUTALLY slow.  On the pc which is a slower computer, it takes maybe 5-10 minutes to run, but it will take an hour on the new mac + and when it finally descends the loading screen, it seems just the time itself and don't watch not only a folio has been downloaded.  Its not time on the real part of internet downloading, I am familiar with this error but is not a problem, its expire on the treatment of the folio PNG I guess.

  Note: The file is very heavy on the effects of dps, a lot of slideshows, tons of States of objects, videos, etc.  With the help of its linked files PS for each State of the object for the packaged folder real is a little more than 3 GB.  Obviously the compiled application itself is nowhere near that, but there is a lot of data.  Yet, it works perfectly on the PC if something's wrong here.  New imac so it's not a power issue.  I tried another mac as well if it's not a bad computer.  Folio Builder will work if I drop all but a few States of the objects even though it still takes much more long to run that he made on the PC.  I tried to change the type of default image to PDF instead of png and got the same problem.

  Looking for clues here.

  There is no reason I can think of to move these files. You can do ANYTHING on a machine right Windows until the creation and submission of the application.

  The folio can be created on the Windows machine. I do it myself.

  What is happening lately for me, on more than 1 computer.

  I have restart Folio Builder, connect with my Adobe ID, then Folio Builder ends up with the spinning wheel and the message "Loading publications...". "on this subject. Stuck forever.

  No matter, I restart InDesign, etc. The opening Folio Builder still stuck in this situation, so I can't work with Folio Builder!

  Any suggestions?
