footer is not falling down

I developed a site using a typical header, footer and layout side nav bar. View that this works well, but on one particularly long page, the footer does not move in the design and the body goes right on the top preview of Safari. I have made other sites successfully but do not know what I'm doing differently this time. (using CS3 on Leopard)

Hello

The footer moves on all pages in FF if you resize the browser window to
be less than 600px in height.
This is the height: 100% for the main content DIV CSS floating.
If you delete, it works fine.
You may also walk out of the container underneath and
not in it.

Take care
Tim

    (1) padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the divs. The elements contained in these divs have padding on their sides. This avoids any «mathematical model of box» Keep in mind, if you add lateral pads or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width that you set to create the * total width. You can also remove the padding of the element inside the div tag, and place a second div inside it with no width and padding necessary for your design.

    (2) no margin was given to the columns, because they all floated. If you need to add the margin, avoid placing on the side you're floating into (for example: a right margin on a div set to float to the right). Many times, padding can be used instead. For divs where this rule needs to be broken, you must add a statement of ' display: inline ' to the rule of the div to tame a bug where some versions of Internet Explorer double the margin.

    (3) given that the classes can be used several times in a document (and an element can also have several classes applied), the columns have received the names of classes instead of IDs. For example, two sidebar div could be stacked if necessary. These can easily be changed to the ID if that's your preference, as long as you don't use them once per document.

    (4) If you prefer your nav on the right instead of the left, simply float those columns as the opposite direction (straight instead of left all) and they will return in reverse order. There is no need to move the div in the HTML source code.

    Hello

The 'content' div's style to have 100px in height and visible from overflow. So the text overflows the div, but the footer "ignores" / ignore it is positioned after 'sidebar2 '.

Change the height of the 'content' to 100% and it should work.

  • Satellite M70-340 - mobile scroll continues to fall down

    Hello

I have a Win XP based PC notebook Toshiba Satellite M70-340. Last week one - the problem I encounter is that fullscreen window/browser/e-mail, I opened rolls selection at the bottom. There are very small (in seconds) periods of time where behavior is not seen, but it appears again. If an e-mail window scrolls down and if I'm moving around the keyboard/mouse/scrollbar I'm impossible to do and scrolling lowers again.

I thought that this is a virus/malware/spyware and I scanned it (deep scan) with Malwarebytes, iObit i360 Spyware, Mcafee Stinger, Avast, Avira, Eset NOD32, Essentials of Microsoft, but the problem is not resolved. Threats have been found & removed but the problem remains.

This morning I noticed that the configuration of the BIOS screen showed behavior similar is that the last parameter of a chosen/selected automatically which leads me to believe that the DJ can be conking off the coast? I also hear strong beeps when I put that run Windows when I click F12.

Disabling the USB mouse has no impact. For the most part, I can scroll upward with the keyboard but the parchment falls down after a certain time which is most frustrating.

I have reset the default BIOS, run the recovery disc (reinstalled / restart of the operating system), SP3 installed on Windows XP without result.

What can be bad beats me. Help, please.

    Hello

This is most likely a faulty keyboard.
If the problem is in the physical keyboard, it will not help to simply attach an external.
Also, you must unplug the built-in keyboard.

So if you are ready to use a screwdriver, try please remove the keyboard.
If the problem disappears, consider ordering a new keyboard for your device. They are not very expensive.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite A87 screen continues to fall down

    Hi all

I had a really serious problem: my screen continues to fall down, he does not stand in the position that I put it in.

Is there something I can do? I had a 87-A satellite.

    Thanks guys, Thomas

    Hello

You really have a Satellite A87? Sorry, but this series of laptops is unclear to me.
    Please check back this series!

Back to your question based on your description the display hinges don't work properly and can not hold the TFT screen in the right position.
To be honest, there's not much to do. The defective hinges need to be replaced.
Therefore, you must contact the ASP in your country for help and ask for later handling.

    Best regards

  • If my computer falls down can I use a backup disk to retrieve

If my computer falls down can I use a backup disk to retrieve

The best way to start is in safe mode and if it does not progress to a Windows repair disk.

You haven't said which OS has your laptop or which model is it. Create a Windows for Windows 7 or Vista repair disc, depending on which is installed.

Always start by trying to restore the operating system to perceive before even to consider so final option as a revaluation. The reasoning behind my statement is simple. An repair is non-destructive. An recovery is destructive and exterminates all what you had on your hard drive and start from scratch with no programs installed.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "BOLD" falls down too often

    Hello

I had this problem for some time. I don't remember if my phone used to hang when I bought first, but I think that this problem came later that I started using it.

My OS version is: v5.0.0.400 (I think it was later) and platform (5.1.0.110)

I noticed that my phone often crash when I use the browser on the phone, ex: while on facebook, it crashes just randomly and also when I use the facebook for blackberry application. It's only when I play these two tasks that my phone freezes. My phone carrier is SFR (france). When I say it crashes, I mean it hangs for one or two seconds, the screen turns white and then followed by the light. then it just restarts.

    Memory status:

    FreeSpace: 75.8 MB

MediaCard freespace: 1.7 GB. (don't have a lot of things on my phone, I made also the memory thing cleaning but it did not help).

I read through other similar forums but couldn't find a solution. I also tried to uninstall the fb app but the browser of the problem still there. Also it does not matter if my wifi is enabled or disabled, the phone falls down again.

Someone could suggest a solution to this, and also why this happens only with the browser and fb app?

First of all, this isn't the latest version of the operating system for the 9700. I know you can get OS 6, if you wish. Don't know if your carrier offers it yet or not, but many are.

I'm going to guess that the particular operating system you are using has a problem. Try to get a new one and installing it.

  • Model XML Publisher - Sub Oracle Footer is going back down, but I would add State nine footer in the main model

    Hi team,

I am facing problem in Dunning letter template in advance collection.

    Basically, I created 2 model.

    1. main model

    2 Template void

In my template void having 2 body section & footer and by the main model, I call you to Sub model body and a footer, section based on some condition.

The question here is only in the page footer section (for example I mention below my footer of the main model condition)

Main page footer section model-> footer

    --------------------

    <? if: ORGID = '341'? > <? call: UKENG1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '101'? > <? call: FRF1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '122'? > <? call: IT1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '141'? > <? call: ESEN1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '181'? > <? call: PTP1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '361'? > <? call: DKE1? > <? end if? > <? If: O RGID = '241'? > <? call: ATE1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '121'? > <? call: PL1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '161'? > <? call: CZ1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = "162"? > <? call: SK1? > <? end if? > <? If: ORGID = '321'? > <? call: IEENG1? > <? end if? >

    --------------------

When I use (<? if: ORGID = '341'? > <? call: UKENG1? > <? end if? >) condition in the front row, then the footer does not appear, when I use this condition in the middle of the footer of the article then it just

a little below and when I use this condition in the last position in the page footer section, then it is extermly come down in DL output.

    Can you help me please.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thank you

  • View the fall down in the region of breadcrumbs

How can I display a drop-down menu in the region of breadcrumbs on the opposite side of the entrance to breadcrumb? I played with properties if poster and part of the fall down but does not makes all the difference. The drop down menu displays just below the entrance to breadcrumb. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

    Try:

    1. create an HTML region in "Position of the region of Page Template 1" and assign the column 2
    2. in the 'attributes of table cells region HTML' setting, set: align = right
3 - Put your selection list in the new region and the alignment of the label to the right and the Horizontal/Vertical alignment to right

As long as your bread crumbs in the position of the region, they will be on the left and your selection list will be on the right that the definition of the new region in column 2 divisions the line into two cells and other settings above just to ensure that everything is displayed to the right of the second column.

I have an iMac 27 "end 2012, running El Capitan 10.11.5 and since the last update to version, it will not shut down or restart. I tried unplugging the power for about 10 minutes, but that didn't work... any notice or is this just a glitch in the latest update?

Your office is frozen?   If not, stop or reboot can wait for something to finish - you close all open applications?   Allow you your system to connect to the internet (these pesky background downloads or you are not always aware of synchronization)

As for hard shutdown - with button / stop

Have you held in the power button for about 15 seconds to stop hard - otherwise he's asleep.

After unplugging - press and hold the power button in for 15 seconds to evacuate the power of mac - that can help.

Could you try to disable graphics hardware acceleration? As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems with some drivers/graphics cards.

You will have to perhaps restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

    Does make a difference?

Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  • When doing a full backup computer falls down and must be closed

    Hello

When doing a full backup of the computer falls down and must be closed using the power switch, it is very good when you make a partial backup.
I'm trying to backup to an external hard drive via a usb connection.

The hard drive is formatted in NTFS
    Someone has any ideas
    Fred

    Hello

I will try to resume that you issue.
The HARD disk has several partitions (I guess 2 partitions)
The backup procedure works fine if you safe data only from single partition, but it crashes if you try to create a backup of all partitions of set. Am I wrong?

My first question; What backup utility do you use?
Are you sure that this backup tool supports the backup of the two partitions at the same time?

I put t know if it will help but a similar problem happened to me.
I've used Norton ghost and I wasn't able to create a backup of a partition.

The procedure began, but after several minutes, the screen goes white and the notebook frisottés.
I ran the scandisk, chkdsk and I defragment the whole HARD drive.

    This helped!
