for Officejet 7310 scanning software

I upgraded my desktop computer to a Microsoft Windows 7 64-bit operating system.   I ordered a CD with drivers updated to HP.  However, once loaded, my printer would not print or scan.  The correction said print and scan tool I needed a critical hotfix file that I downloaded from HP for Windows 7, but it will not load on my computer because file is corrupted.  My printer perfectly good being out of warranty, HP will not provide 'clean' to allow my printer software works correctly.  Does anyone know of another source for the software that will allow my printer scanner images and documents.  I finally got to print again with the basic Microsoft standard drivers.

I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. You may need to uninstall ALL the HP and feature products because all software cannot be damaged. Maybe it's just a file.

Here is a link you can follow to download the FULL FEATURES and software drivers.

  • Scan software for HP Officejet 5510 all-in-one

When I press "scan" on my printer, it is said that I don't have the software for it. I've looked everywhere for the software... What should I do?

    Hello Tegus

The only thing you can do with mountain on the Officejet 5510 Lion is to ensure that you have run the Apple software updates with your printer plugged in with the USB cable. That you will get the latest version of the HP software that you can run on Mountain Lion.

To make the update Apple properly follow the steps below:

Step 1. Plug in the printer power cord TO the computer and the printer

Step 2. Click on the 'Apple' in the upper left corner

    Step 3. Click "Software updates"

Once it's over you can check the HP support document How to Scan: OS X v10.8. This document will provide you with instructions how you can scan with the preview of Apple, Apple Image Capture and Print & Scan. If it is at all possible for you to scan it is how you will be able to do.

I hope that answers your question about scanning. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

  • OfficeJet 7310: Reported Device Manager driver missing for printer Officejet 7310

I used the full setting install software downloaded from the HP site to set up a printer Officejet 7310 on a Lenovo laptop, T540p with OS 64 - bit Windows 8.1.  Installation and printer seem to work fine since I can print and I can also scan from the HP Solution Center utility.  However, Device Manager reports two errors/anomalies as follows.

Under the heading 'Multifunction cards' the Officejet 7300 series properties shows the status of the device such as:
This device is disabled. (Code 22)
Click Enable device to enable this device.

To the title of the theOfficejet 7300 series entry 'Other devices' properties shows the status of the device as:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no compatible driver for this device.
To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.

I find this a little confusing, because I believe that the installation of the software is supposed to include the pilot, as well as the printer seems to function (which could be due to default Microsoft drivers).

Any thoughts on how things are in this State and how to recover would be deeply appreciated as I prefer not to "ignore" error messages.

    Thank you

    Glenn

Well, I finally got a moment for all dismantle and reinstall according to the suggested procedure.  The offending Device Manager entry disappears not directly as a result of using the tools Microsoft and CCleaner, but after these steps in the process, I was able to remove the entry from the device.  I suspect that the registry was somehow blocked upward and demelee enough tools stuff for me to delete the entry.

The relocation went well, but unfortunately, I misread the part about the reference of USB and initially installed with a USB connection.  I had to go back and add the network connection, which was not a problem.  I wonder if I can remove the USB from the printer through devices and printers instance while keeping the Solutions Center HP happy on the network printer instance.

Thanks again for the detailed procedure.

    Kind regards

  • How to upgrade my OfficeJet 7310 to Lion software?

I migrated all my docs and my old iMac to my new iMac under Snow Leopard apps running Lion. I have hp printers 4 connect to my iMac, the other via ethernet and others via the usb port. OfficeJet 7310 is the main printer. But I don't see software compatible Lion anywhere. Can not print or scan until hp came back with a new software? I could swear I read that all you have to do is to download from the BONE. But I can't find it on the OS. A technician Apple told me that as soon as I connect the impression to my new Mac, it will automatically download. But the 7310 is connected to the new one as the old and new iMacs are both connected to the same ATT router via ethernet.

Help, please. I can't completely switch computers until I have the ability to print on the new.

    Hello

To clarify, the Apple ICA module used for the analysis, it is an engine and not a software

By adding the printer, you will be able to print as used to, by pressing file > print from the specific application (for example. (Word, Textedit etc..)

To scan, you can scan using the "Print & Scan" Scan tab (located under system preferences).

Or open the Image Capture or preview of Applications and analysis here.

It will not require no single configuration, just follow the procedure of scanning those.

Just be aware that you will not be able to scan from the printer control panel as long as there is no comprehensive software solution, you need to run one of these Applications and perform analysis from there.

  • Software Officejet 7310 will not install fully.

    Hello

It could be a long, so be prepared, LOL. I took a number of steps before coming here. The original question was that my Officejet 7310 wouldn't print. I would get the error message windows XP has not been able to connect to the spooler or I could be on a VPN. So, I wasn't on a VPN but recently installed a web of Citrix plugin so that my wife could access his tricks to work.  So, I uninstalled Citrix. Any help, same messege. So, I thought that my driver printing or software might be corrupted so I came on the HP site and downloaded the new software and drivers, rub_w01_Americas_Euro1_NB.exe, a download of 448 MB approximately. Tried to install it, it is impossible to find my printer on the network. Reset Officejet 7310 network settings to the factory settings. Any help, software still cannot find my printer on the network. Came to HP.com and found an article that said that I should set the printers IP address to a higher range, I did. Still not good. Thought that the download of the original software might be corrupted, so I downloaded and tried to install again. Same result. Tried the HP scanning and print Dr. we found my printer, but still cannot install the printer. Downloaded a different driver/software package from HP.com, drv_rub_w01_ENU_NB.exe. He found and installed my Officejet 7310.  Problem solved right? Evil. Troubleshooting I uninstalled my player Director HP Photosmart and text. I downloaded the full software package once again, rub_w01_Americas_Euro1_NB.exe and now it is my printer but not complete installation. Only, it stops the installation and disappears. I get no messege installation has been completed or whatever it is. I have HP Director, photo software and reader of text re - install, but as I said, it just stops the installation and disappears.

Has anyone else had this problem with this problem with this firmware? Can someone tell me how to install completely?

Thanks in advance for any help.

In addition, the printer prints correctly now.

    trektek,

These problems with the installation can come from several sources and narrowing, it will solve the problem of the individual. If you want to properly print all previous issues, I would say running the doctor print and scan located here:
    http://goo.GL/Ujpib

It can fix its own much and if not to give a better idea of what is happening. His control should inform you of any problems left by the installation software.

    Good luck!

Nobody knows what is in the driver full features & downloading the V28.8 software or for any version really another version of the case for Officejet pro8600... What's not in the download database?

I'm running vista on an old computer and it doesn't have service Pack2 on it, which is necessary for the functionality of full download download.

Just wondering if its worth the installation of service pack 2 to get the best features.

    See you soon

    Hello

For Windows Vsita any service pack is supported and you are not required to install a service pack to install the full feature software, only Windows XP requires at least Service Pack 2...

You can find the system requirements below:

The most important feature of the full feature software is Iris OCR reading that allows to scan to searchable PDF or editable text...

  • MENU FOR FAX AND SCAN - HP OFFICEJET PRO 8600 MORE

I find either my MEMU for fax and scan for my HP Officejet Pro 8600. This is the menu that allow you to select the type of scan (jpeg, etc.) and whether it's for email, files, etc. I don't know what is happening and I don't want to reinstall the printer.

    Any ideas?

Hi containerpete and welcome to the forums of HP!

I see that you are working with a 8600 Officejet who doesn't seem to have the scan/Fax options in the HP printer Assistant longer. I'm sorry to hear that, but I'll certainly do my best to help you!

You can certainly just add the HP Scan icon on your desktop for the feature analysis on the computer, but if you need Fax options we then focus on the software uninstallation/reinstallation.

For now, I'll explain how to add the icon HP Scan on your desktop (assuming that you are working with Windows 7) and if you want the instructions to uninstall/reinstall to see to get the other return options that I'll happily provide those in the next post

To add scanning HP icon on your desktop click the start menu, click programs principally made, click the HP folder, click on the HP Officejet Pro 8600 folder and then right-click on HP Scan, click send to and select Desktop. Now you have a HP Scan icon on your desktop and actually save you a click or two

Let me know how it goes, and if you want that the other instructions!

  • Vista/Windows 7 Patch for Officejet 7210 7310 7410 and Photosmart 2610 2710 Duplex

Some models of printer with automatic duplexer print not correctly on the back in Vista (or Windows 7 if Vista update).   In these models on the back is printed updside down regardless of the driver configuration.

attached the zip file has a patch and instructions to fix this problem for the following printers:

    OfficeJet 7310

    OfficeJet 7410

Patches for other models can be found here.

This patch has been tested good, with more than 1,800 copies of this fix distributed by e-mail since April 2007.

The zip file contains two files

OJ7410.PDF contains detailed instructions for applying the correction.  Opening this file requires Adobe Reader or a similar pdf viewer, available for free download.

In fact, the driver of Windows 7 made good automatic duplex printing - no patch is required for Windows 7 [edit - this is true for fresh installation.  For the versions of Vista the patch may be used for Windows 7].  The default value for some printers, is that the duplexer is 'not installed', please check the Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide for Vista.  In Windows 7, the procedure is slightly different, in the folder printers click twice on the 7410, double-click the icon 'Customize your printer', device settings and under installable options go "Duplex for two back" on installed, OK.
