Force restart avoidable?

Hello.  My name is Sid and during a trip to Greece today, I made the huge mistake of accidentally holding down the power button on my iPhone 6s for too long, which prompted the restart function.  Unfortunately, since January, I needed to research why I get iPhone to full storage of messages (and Yes, I know it's my fault and I should have been backup all the contents of my regularly).  That said, I have thousands of photos from around the world and other items that have been created since January that I can't imagine losing forever.  My question is to know if taking my iPhone from a store or waiting until I'm home (I actually visit the headquarters of Apple regularly) would mean that someone might be able to restore what it was earlier today.  Are there opportunities?  If so, I'll just stop using my phone and buy a camera for the rest of my trip.  From now on, the phone gives me the restore options to January or from anywhere - this one, everything in isn't ideal.  Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

There are several misconceptions about your post above. First of all, a true forced reboot is:

Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

If you did, you wouldn't lose anything. I did hundreds of francs on my own iOS devices and never lost anything. I don't know any person here who has lost anything. Therefore, I don't know what you were doing. Hold the phone just turned off power button if you then slide off the screen as he invites you. You wouldn't lose anything that way either.

So what have you lost today? What has changed? If you have not all newer than January backups AND you have lost your photos already, it's too late. Neither you nor Apple will be able to retrieve the photos. Look on your album recently removed, they could be there.

If explain you in more detail, we may be able to help.

Apple Watch isn't working properly. The display is to be 'crazy' once or twice a week. And I need to force restart it. Is this a common failure?

    Hello

This isn't a failure or defect.

Zoom (an accessibility function) has been activated on your watch and you are zoomed accidentally tapping on the screen in a particular way.

    • To turn off the Zoom:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > general > accessibility > Zoom - put it off.
      • Or on your watch, go to: homescreen (via a simple press on the digital Crown) > (cog icon) settings > general > accessibility > Zoom - tap and enable / disable.
    • If the accessibility shortcut has been enabled and configured for the Zoom, you can also enable and disable functionality more conveniently:
      • On your watch: quickly press the digital Crown (the round button) three times.
    • To set up accessibility shortcuts:
      • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > general > accessibility > accessibility shortcut (bottom) > select / deselect Zoom.
  • Installer - CVI 2012 forces restart

    Hello

First of all, I looked at this link.  He lists three possible reasons for the installer, forcing a re-start.  It is perhaps a bit dated (2004)

In any case, I would delete forced reboots after the installation of CVI 2012 of an appliction on Windows 7.   I am trying to launch an executable immediately after installation (options set to launch after Installation, launch and continue) this exe checks for Windows service OR services that must be running, and facilities of auxiliary use, in my opinion, the exe's get deleted when the forced restart occurs.

Any ideas how to remove reboot forced after running the installer?

In addition, TEN components that I use are illustrated here:

Passer-by/r on the setup.exe command line will remove the reboot.

If the laptop automatically stops then this problem could be linked to the temperature inside the laptop

Usually an overheating may occur because don t cooling modules work correctly because of the dust and debris.
But according to your message, the laptop is not very old, and the dust should t be a problem

So in my opinion, you must contact the ASP in your country to control!

  • Then the display turns off I can't get it back without force restart

When the display switches off the power due to the low battery power & I can't get this back even when I plug it into the sector and having to force the computer to restart.
Is there a pref somewhere to turn it off?

    Hello

When the screen turns off, exactly? How much capacity has battery at the moment? 5 % ? More?
    Try to higher level.
When you work with your laptop and the battery level is low battery and the alarm alert will appear in the taskbar, but you will be able to continue your work several minutes or connect the power running.

I'm afraid that your laptop reaches the critical battery level and then maybe is too late for any action.
Set the low battery level to 10% and when the notification is shown connect power adapter immediately.
I imagine that the screen doesn't have to be out of all.

Hello, I am using first Pro CC 2015.3 and having a problem with the import. I have a 3 GB video I am trying to import, and when I do, first instantly stops responding. But, as it is often done this and snaps out of it, after a few seconds, let him. Open the Task Manager to take a look at my RAM reveals first regularly uses RAM more and more until it tops out at 100%, forcing me to restart my computer and not be able to import the images! I don't know how first could do that since I have been easily import files of 10 GB and more on a regular basis. CPU to 100% and stay there while he tries (unsuccessfully) to import images. How could it be, so first have only 11GO allocated to it as a very unlikely maximum?

  • Weird Graphics problem, leads eventually to force restart or same BSOD

I'm fairly certain that it's associated with firefox, or plug or maybe compatibility issue, however I'm getting weird graphic blocks. the occasionlly seem to start from a flash image in a page, but I can't say this is the cause 100%. Looks like small multicoloured boxes located in weird habits. and causes other odd graphics, it's even worse, more I gave it the value. Once for the heck of it I drove up and down scroll bar about 10 times very fast and it makes a BSOD. These odd graphs do not always appear if I do not open Firefox (use IE today), but they do not disappear if I see and then stop Firefox. Usually I have to restart the computer, because they take too much of the screen, I see nothing. It does not change even if when I move windows and others, they are not limited to the Firefox window and spread to the office empty too.

I think that the settings manager for flash player in the control panel of the operating system has no hardware acceleration still options. From now on, you may need to right click on a video in a web page to enable / disable hardware acceleration of individual flash.

My Macbook air constantly restarts in the middle of using it. It was past 1-2 times / day for the last 2 weeks. It doesn't happen when I open application or when I do some activity, as far as I'm concerned. When it stops, the screen looks like the image below. • ChckDsk frozen at step 5 of 5, I can force restart?

I plan to chkdsk to run at startup and to correct errors.  It is a hard drive that I use for storage of media, not my Boot C: drive.

CHKDSK has run for more than 12 hours, during the night, it got stuck on step 5 of 5, or 40%.

How can I cancel chkdsk without damaging my files on this drive?  I have years on recorded images and will be crushed if something happened to them.  Thanks in advance for the help.

I don't know how to say if there were errors, but here is a screenshot that I got with my camera.

  • Devices USB freeze intermittently. force restart 2 - 3 times a day

I have a HP Pavillion a6827c desktop who developed problems with USB 2.0 devices.  There are four rear ports and two front.  I got a 10 port AC powered USB hub a few months ago plugged everything in, then connected on one of the ports on the back without success.  The opportunity to plug in another ball of command in one of the ports before will get the cursor to move but sometimes the keyboard is blocked as well.  So only a reboot will put things straight.

I get frequent warnings that a USB device has failed, but I have been unable to isolate it.  I unplugged each device one at a time to see if the 'unknown' warning disappears without success.

I disabled the two services that seem to create the most entries in the event log: BTHUSB (Bluetooth) and good morning Services.  Things seem to go better for awhile and it flares up again.  Let me be clear: this isn't just a problem of keyboard trackball; potentially the printer, scanner, printer p-touch, backup battery... each USB device is subject to failure, not necessarily at the same time.  But the reboot gets everything back online again, at least for a few hours.

I hate having to replace this computer if soon only to find there could be an easy fix, so I ask: can I do?  Is this software or hardware?

    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Nobody seems to address so I ended up finding a bandage myself: I just turned off the power to the computer option never go to sleep.  No more the entrapment of USB devices.

I always welcome the monitors to go to sleep after 20 minutes, but the processor remains awake all the time.

  • First Pro CC force restart my computer when I open a project

    Hello

I have been using first Pro CC without problem on my laptop until today.  Today, I started the program and click on it to open a project, and then loading the project it dint rebooted my computer.  I tried 4 or 5 several times (closing all unnecessary background programs in the Manager of tasks, disabling Cortana, holding my cell phone on the table to prevent it from overheating and believe that it does not heat up too much, etc.) and every time he did exactly the same thing in the same exact spot, while loading a project.  Anyone know what is the cause and what can I do about it?  I have a Dell Inspiron 1500 series and I run Windows 10, I think it is the most recent update.  Data sheet: CPU is Intel Core i7-5500U CPU @ 2.40 GHz, 8 GB RAM, OS 64-bit and x 64 processor.

Help, please!  I'm so frustrated.  It is now four o'clock in the morning and I have been looking and trying to solve this dedicated... longer that I should really admit.

Can you open other projects, or start a new project?

    Have you recently installed fonts?

You can do a system restore to a point before the update.

Alternatively, you can try to update or restore your graphics driver.

  • 17 GB of drive space missing after the crash of vmware fusion and force restart

During my last installation of SuSE Linux, I had to manually reboot my system because my system crashed.

After the reboot, I deleted the virtual machine of Susa and started again installation. To my surprise 17 GB were mission on my hard drive and I can't find the files responsible for this. I checked my system of files larger than 500 MB via ' find /-size M + 500 ", but found nothing: (.)

Do you know where are the 17 GB or where vmware fusion may have experienced a system core dump or something like that?

Please help, I need the 17 GB for resettlement :).

    Thank you.

I have discovert that was missing only 3 GB of the 20 GB that I deleted before trying to install SuSE. But I deleted all the files that I specified after the crash. The trash is always empty so I'm a bit confused were are the 17 GB.
