Force synchronization iCloud

I often use Notes to quickly share data in any of my devices. MacBook Air, iMac, iPhone or for iMac, for example.

Often, the data moves almost immediately, which is great. Sometimes it takes forever. Okay, maybe several minutes, but it's still frustrating.

Is there a way to force the Notes application to synchronize with all my devices?

Thank you.

-JT

Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

Try to go into System Preferences/iCloud and stop synchronization. Wait a few minutes, then recheck the timing.

Have you tried the signature to iCloud and then reconnect?

  • BlackBerry Z10 CalDav and CardDav synchronization icloud

    Hi all

Recently had to get a new Z10 to replace the previous ones due to water damage. All right, except that I am unable to get accounts caldav and carddav to synchronize. I've had these works very well with my cal icloud and contacts so cannot determine what the problem is. I have 2 step authentiaction on my icloud account so have revoked the previous passwords for caldav and carddav app and got new. However, when I enter the details he spends a long time thinking (save and check your settings) and then comes up with an error message "error in CPP transaaction with 1426087998-CardDavProvider (or similar for CalDav). Any ideas please?

Just to tell you which seems OK now although I really dn't know exactly what I did to make it work. Thinknit maybe something to do with my BB id :-)

  • No-Junk Junk and no synchronization iCloud

I had this problem for over a year. On my computer (MacBook Pro 15 "2.7 GHz 16 GB OS 10.11.5) mail keeps going to my spam box, but is not marked as spam, i.e. not colored as such and not including any option to mark as not junk not. ICloud via Safari messages are in the folder of spam with the option mark as legitimate, I have repeatedly, clearly be a silly, made.

Reopening of my e-mail application messages are no longer in the junk e-mail folder, and everything seems fine - until on the next opening, they are undesirable but not marked as junk. And of course, they are also back in the junk e-mail folder in iCloud. They are always the same five people, all my contacts, all previously communicated with, etc.  Why they keep reappearing in my folder junk e-mail on iCloud after repeatedly scoring their unwanted step, and why they are in the junk e-mail folder of the app from my mail with no option to mark as not junk?

I even they marked as JUNK, quit mail, then marked them as not junk, without success. I've archived them to my computer and everything is going well for a day or two, then new mail from the same contacts is presented again as undesirable non-camelote. If nothing else, why iCloud refuses to accept my rule not Junk? (Please do not suggest an app like SpamSieve since he does not play with the junk mail filters to iCloud and as good training has no effect.)

If the emails are not grey/navy/red, then your email provider may have marked them as spam, which would explain why the not junk option is not there. Try to go to the e-mail provider's website to see if you can adjust the junk e-mail settings there.

You can configure a rule to move e-mail messages to the desired area.

  • Force synchronization of Typekit fonts

Synchronized Typekit fonts are not always upward when I start InDesign even though I am connected and Typekit shows they have been downloaded.  Is there a way to update Indesign so that he 'sees' them?  I tried Logging in and out, does not solved this issues.  I think that the only solution I found is to go into the program files and delete any files there relog on.  I was wondering if there is a simpler solution.

The application of creative Office Cloud controls the timing of fonts.

Try to quit the Creative Cloud desktop (there is a small gear icon that gives you access to the menu). Then relaunch it again and see if that helps. (This application resides in your Application folder. I usually hold an alias in my Mac dock.)

  • iCloud Windows Player 10 does not synchronize

Then I copy a folder with several subfolders and files in an iCloud drive. The container main folder about 30 GB of data and I know I have enough space iCloud (43GB). But the synchronization completed once a file and a subfolder was copied to the second machine. I waited a few days for the synchronization to proceed, but no activity seems to have occurred. I restarted. But the timing has not changed. How can I force synchronization to occur.

  • iCloud Calendar & Contacts used to synchronize with Outlook 2016

Since I upgraded to 10 Windows and Outlook 2016, iCloud for Contacts and calendar synchronization have been working well.  Today, there was an update from Microsoft automatically installed.  When I went into Outlook, sync to iCloud was no longer work (the menu bar buttons were gone too).  I went to iCloud and made a download of the iCloud for Windows and when he ran that he gave only options to repair or uninstall.  First I tried to fix it, but there was a caveat that I had Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2016 installed and I could have only one.  So I uninstalled all of Office 2007, then run the iCloud to repair Windows.  This time it completed, but on the Setup screen when it has finished, it did not give the ability to synchronize email, Contacts and calendar.  Instead, this option is gone up with a yellow information exclamation that said I could access my email Contacts and calendar on iCloud.  And it did not work as expected in Outlook.  For the next, I ran the iCloud for Windows to install again and choose uninstall.  Then I installed it again fresh, but with the same results, no iCloud Contacts or calendar to sync with my Outlook 2016.

So I searched Apple Support and see several threads that say 2016 Outlook is not supported yet and an update is coming.  But on the page of the iCloud site Apple where it lists the configuration system requirements, it is said that 2016 Outlook is supported.  I am confused and frustrated.  Help, please!

I found an answer in the topic Outlook 2016 that solved the problem.  You will need to go to the Windows Control Panel and fix Outlook or repair Office 365 in my case.  Basically, this caused the range of office 2016 to be reinstalled.  Then, without opening Outlook, I went to iCloud and reinstalled the iCloud for Windows app.  This time the option Synchronize Mail, Contacts and calendar was active, so I checked it and then click on apply.  It then proceeds to download all my contacts and calendars to iCloud.  I am more confused and frustrated, but I'm a little angry with Microsoft to get out an automatic update which screwed up my Outlook to synchronize iCloud and making me spend 3 hours of research and the implementation of the solution.  Maybe I'll get an iMac for my next computer.

  • Cannot synchronize calendars with iCloud

I used to use iTunes to synchronize calendars. I get a new Mac and I now need to synchronize iCloud.  I don't want iCloud - but I put in place because I NEED to synchronize.  So now - Mac is complete, partial, iPad iPhone NOTHING.  Go crazy looking for answers!

Just things to synchronize.  I really do need calendars and today finds that medical important notes (in iCal)... nothing.  I have nothing and is not the wonderful experience promised by Apple.  This isn't (or shouldn't be) something cutting-edge.

The first step to get things as expected is to understand the difference between the use of the mail, contacts and calendars to be 'synced' vs. how things work with modern cloud (iCloud, Google Gmail, Microsoft 365) services.  In the old days, you would be 'sync' line of devices one phone to a local computer where you have stored your contacts and calendars.  It is more the way things work.  With services like iCloud, all your computers, phones, tablets, etc., rather communicate directly with the server to iCloud instead of synchronization between them via iTunes.  When implemented correctly, using iCloud is much more reliable 'synchronization' ever was.

To set things upwards so that each of you, the devices use iCloud (and therefore always show current mail, calendars and contacts), you simply login to iCloud on each device using the same iCloud account and ensure that services you plan to use are activated.  On the Mac go to "System Preferences" > "iCloud" to connect and activate the services.  On your iOS devices, go to the "Settings" > "iCloud" to do the same.  Make sure that all these Screes are with the same login to iCloud and have services enabled (including schedules).

Then, to test.  Adding an event to a device should appear immediately on others (without iTunes required).  If the test works, then open iTunes to your iPhone / iPad are each attached and disable iTunes sync for calendars, contacts for these devices (is no longer necessary or desirable).

Finally, if your old calendars are still available on your Mac, then you should be able to copy the old events of the old (probably stored locally on your Mac) calendar to the calendar iCloud newly available.  Once you do, you should immediately see on other devices.

    I hope this helps.

  • not always synchronize contacts on the iphone 6 +.

I can sometimes force synchronization by changing something again. My MBP and iCloud and iPad sync almost instantly. I am connected properly everywhere.

    Judy Hello,

I understand that your iPhone Plus 6 does not seem to be properly sync your Contacts with iCloud, despite your iPad, MacBook Pro, managing to keep up-to-date and iCloud. Fortunately, there are a number of steps that can help restore your iPhone's ability to keep up to date with the rest of your devices during the synchronization of Contacts with iCloud troubleshooting.

After each step, check your contacts, calendars, or reminders.

Update your contacts, calendars and reminders

To update your calendars and reminders:

    1. Open the calendar application and tap on the Calendars tab.
    2. Swipe down on the list to update your events and reminders.

    To update your contacts:

    1. Open the app and click groups in the upper left corner.
    2. Swipe down on the list to refresh your groups.

Define iCloud Contacts, calendars, or reminders as a default

If your contacts, calendars and reminders are in iCloud, then iCloud will automatically update your information. See if your information is in iCloud or third parties, such as Google or Yahoo account. Then change your default account to iCloud.

See which represent your contacts are:

    1. Open the app and click groups in the upper left corner.
    2. Deselect the [account] option for any account of third parties, such as Gmail or Yahoo.
    3. Make sure all the iCloud is selected.
    4. Tap done to see your list of contacts. If you do not see the contact you are looking for, it is stored in another account.
    5. You can import the contacts from a third party service in iCloud.

ICloud set as default for your contacts in iOS 8 or later:

    1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars.
    2. In the Contacts section, tap the default account.
    3. Select iCloud.

See which represent your calendars are in:

    1. Open the calendar application and tap an event to open it.
    2. Type the name of the calendar to see if the event is in a calendar to iCloud.

Set a schedule to iCloud as the default calendar:

    1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars.
    2. In the calendars section, click default calendar.
    3. Tap on a timetable under iCloud to make it your default.

See which represent your reminders are in:

    1. Open the reminders app and tap the name of the list in the upper left corner to display all of your lists.
    2. See if the list is stored on your device or iCloud. Open the list and tap on change. If you see the sharing, so your list is in iCloud.

When you create a new reminder, you can choose to store it in iCloud or on your iOS device.

    Check your application settings

Make sure that your iCloud Contacts, calendars and reminders are configured to appear in the application Contacts or calendars:

    • Open the app and click groups in the upper left corner. Make sure all the iCloud is selected.
    • Open the calendar app and tap the Calendars tab to make sure that all iCloud is selected.

Change how often your calendars and update reminders:

    1. Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, calendars or select settings > reminders.
    2. In the section calendars or reminders, press Sync.
    3. If all events or reminders is selected, choose a specific calendar instead, such as events or reminders 1 month back. If a timeline is selected, choose rather the all events or reminders.
    4. Press the Home button.
    5. Wait a few minutes. Open the calendar app, tap on the Calendars tab and slide down to refresh.

Since the iCloud Birthdays calendar updates every day, you might not see changes in birthdays in the calendars until the next application.

Restart the application Contacts, calendar or reminders

    1. Double-click the Home button to see your open applications.
    2. Search for the app, slide it toward the top to close.
    3. Press the home key to return to your home screen.
    4. Wait a minute, and then reopen the application.

Turn off iCloud Contacts, calendar, or reminders, and turn it back on

    1. Tap Settings > iCloud.
    2. Turn off, Contacts, calendar or reminders.
    3. If you see your calendars or reminders about iCloud.com or one of your devices, you can choose to delete from my [camera]. If not, choose keep on my [device].
    4. Wait a few minutes, then turn it back on for Contacts, calendar or reminders.

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Hold the sleep/wake button, then drag the slider to turn off. Turn on your device.

I use an Iphone 4S and since my internal storage became full I bought / upgraded my default 50 GB storage plan.
