• DateTime liquid switch only works on some browser form input fields

  I have a form of agreement where I would like to have the current date is displayed only (readonly) in the form of entry.  This will display the date perfectly well a range of browsers and OS but my client always reports that the form field displays the date + time (22-June-2015-12:00). Apparently, it still shows 12:00 for the time. I was unable to reproduce it in any of my tests with several browsers and operating systems.

  Must I add another filter to indicate to the server does not add a time in there? Or maybe add some Javascript for him say look for a while and remove it?

  It's weird.

  It will not be something to do with the browser because liquid is script server-side and today's date is server only side not the client side too.

  I do not notice on your input field you after the aaaa: a dashboard - that needs to go just in case where but I don't think it would be. You need javascript.

• Classic ASP validate form input file type

  I need to know how to check if a value is in the file type field in the classic ASP. The name of the input field and the id is the file, and file type. The form type is multipart/form-data and the name of form1.
  
  I use Upload.asp object by Jacob Gilley to manage my download. If the user submits without selecting a file to download; the site-error. The user should have the option of presenting with or without a file. I need to post to the server.

• issue of form input

  Hi I have a model of CF that I use to create new pages html here at work. What I have so far works perfectly. However, due to the way in which my employer puts its pages, I'm stumped on how to accomplish the next step of this page generator application.

  Basically, its pages are all the same static text heavy pages that follow the same design across the literlayy of thousands of product pages. However, certain pages has a cross reference section or a "Material" section uses this fire In these sections, each reference is presented as a list. For example:

  Vivitek

  Westinghouse

  and so on

  Now my problem is how to use a form to insert text like this and have always displayed as kind of a list. Its never a number of elements that can display here, so create x number of entered form would not work. Ideally I would like to have a way for the user (data entry) to seize several elements into a single shape and the display of each different item on a new line in succession. Not sure yet whether it is possible, but any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  If you need more information let me know. You can also see exactly what I'm talking about here look at the bottom of the page and bolded heading each list, you will see a few short lists.

  A SOLUTION (the better one)

  Do not present the name of mark as a text field, but make a drop down select field filled with all the brands of the table of marks.

  Now, when using is a brand name, the field will be filled with the brand id and you would just use this field for the rest of your process.  (Do the queries of the scorer's table each time that you need display the brand name).

  TWO SOLUTION (the ugly one)

  You do a query on the table brands using the brand name the user intered in the text field.  The problem is that the user must type the name EXACTLY as it is in the table and goodness, confusion if there are brands with similar names!

  You can combine the search in the query with a subquery insert... but really a SOLUTION, this is the way to go!  So I won't work for this syntax.

  I created a div containing box entries that work in all browsers except FF.

  FF reported "undefined" for checkboxes and stopped running Javascript.

• Form input value

  I'm moving an amount of entry using a "ref:" to my code Add quantity. input_quantity gets its value from the database fine but I can't seem to find a way to pass this value to be used to add this amount to the object into the basket. (of course the 1 would be variable)

  As a test, I changed the 1 to other numbers and it correctly adds the current amount of the cart.

  Any help would be appreciated.

• Delete the keywords input field after form submission web app search

  Hi all

  I work on a Web site and have a question about a specific page:

  My question is: did someone knows a way to erase the form input field "Keywords" after we submit the search form? By example, if I type in a word like 'colour' in the keyword and click the search button, I am presented with pieces of portfolio that include 'colour' in the description. However, the 'color' remains in the keyword form input field, so if I decide I want check the 'grey' and 'technical' rather than 'keyword' search, the color of the Word always remains in the input field. Dies, someone has any ideas on how I might be able to clear this form field whenever a search is performed?

  It "should" work.

  You need to insert some javascript/jQuery in your scripts.js file

  on one of the empty lines before //Flex cursor init

  You must insert:

  Basically, it checks to see if there are some search results on the page, and then clears the value of the search box.

  I do not guarantee that it works, but I'm pretty confident that you may need to play a little with it.

• Monitors flicker and "Input Signal Out of Range"

  I have a Mac Mini (end 2012) 2.3 GHz Intel core i7 running up-to-date El Capitan, with two HP monitors 2071d.

  These monitors have DVI connections. It is connected with Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter, and the other with HDMI to DVI adapter (provided with the Mac Mini).

  Everything has been fine for a year until this week. Two monitors are:

  (1) intermitantly began flickering of the scrambled images

  (2) flickering intermittently at black or white noise

  (3) intermittently flickering white noise

  (4) the message of the form 'input out of range Signal. 1600 x 900 at 60 Hz settings."

  How is this problem go and come, but rather continues today.

  After research, I tried to start safe mode, but the problem persists.

  I read that put the computer to sleep and then wake up could solve this problem... it worked a

  couple of times, but the issue soon returned.

  I tried to reset several times VRAM/LANDAU and SMC.

  I doubled checked all the connections.

  Under the system of preferences > display (when the image is stable long enough for me to see) everything looks OK. Under the screen of the 'Default display' tab is selected. On the color tab, there are three HP2071d listed (with a selected) in the window display profiles. I've linked by selecting one of the other "HP2071d" listed without noticeable change.

  I also reset both monitors to factory settings via the menu screen of the monitors.

  I also came across this mini Mac EFI Firmware Update 1.7 for flickering on end of 2012 Mac Minis, but when I tried to run I got "this software don't is not supported on your system. Ugh. It turns out that my Mac Mini is already updated to MM61.0106.B0A (2015-002)

  Both monitors isn't good. Which would lead us to think that the Intel HD 4000 is overheating and the problem is not with any of the adapters or cables. Although, if one of the cards was not internally, it could put additional heat stress on the graphics chip.

  Personally, I will try a few things.

  1. turn off, unplug everything, open the bottom cover and give it a good cleaning to make sure it cools properly.

  2. try each monitor individually for awhile configurations see if the problem follows the monitor cable adapter installation.

  (I know he'll be a brake after obtaining used monitors to double)

  FWIW, I do not use screensavers, but I do a lot of videos as well as some games of light on both my 2010 and 2012 of the Mini and I really believe that MacFanControl has really helped to extend the life of graphics on these two systems.

  I use the control based on the sensors on the sensor of GPU ITPP and configured so that it starts slowly rise in power of the fan above 129' F

  However, it's only a fault on Firefox. I am able to do this on other browsers.

  In particular, it is the form of e-mail on the right side of the given site.

  Two options:

  1 if you want just user to be alerted or encourage notification of error such as field validation, you can take a list of e-mail field externsions, put it in a table in a function javascript/Jquery and not allow those for the presentation. This can lower your form submission, in which case the user is not able to submit the form with the public/staff email addresses. In this case...

  2. you can choose the stage of processing "Update contact data of the form" in forms, make conditional, and in the condition you can choose the field domain email address and not exactly as criteria, choose the static value and enter the condition that e-mail domain (hotmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.) for each e-mail domain.
