Form loses data when sent by email to PC

I'm on Mac OS 10.6.2. I received an accessible PDF file writable by a colleague using a PC. I filled in the blanks and saved the file. If I open the file on the Mac, I see the data that I entered. But when I send the file to a colleague, she reports that the data fields are empty. I tried Mac Mail and Gmail-times failed.

It's my first experience with PDF available in writing so I'm stumped. Any suggestions would be welcome.

This will allow you to complete save and send back to the PC person.

It depends on whether or not the person filling out the form (the original poster) has Acrobat. If they have filed out and saved, it should appear at the end of PC users.

UNLESS you used Mac Preview to fill out and save the form. He can't then present.

If you only drive then Yes, the person who created the file would enable special features so that you save the file after filling in the drive. But if you use a drive and they had not been activated, you would have had a warning.

  • WMP11 loses data when extracting. All files are track 0 and the length of the song is not listed.

    Using Win XP Pro & Media Player 11. Works very well for a long time. Recently, I have problems during extraction.

    Album info & track is correct, and he rips it in the right folder (with the names of artist & album as folder names). But the WMP11 database is messed up. The names of the files/tracks are OK, but all the songs are track 0, and all other data such as the name of the album, genre, year and artist are all unknowns. WMP11 does not know the length of the songs.  I can change the data, but not the length.  How can I fix it?

    Hello RHarrigill,

    Thank you for your message.  It is possible that Windows Media Player 11 database must be damaged.  Please follow the steps below:
    Exit Windows Media Player.
    Click Start, run, type %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.
    Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
    If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:
    If you are running Windows XP, click Start, click Run, type %userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft and then click OK.
    Restart Windows Media Player.
    Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.
    Please let us know if it did or did not solve your problem.
    See you soon

  • Form loses color when I use Pathfinder > Exclude to cut a hole

    I'm just following some instructions on how to cut a hole in a circle transparent, so that the bottom is visible through the hole with the help of Illustrator (CS5).

    This is my starting point. All backgrounds are disassociated from the individual objects, and all are a circle colored with a small white circle on top.

    Screen Shot 2016-09-26 at 16.00.20.png

    I then selects the white circle (the circle centre is white smaller circles on top one more large colorful circle) and the underlying green circle thus:

    Screen Shot 2016-09-26 at 16.00.36.png

    I then use the Pathfinder tool and exclude according to the instructions, but it happens:

    Screen Shot 2016-09-26 at 16.00.42.png

    Any ideas why the color disappeared rather than leave a green hoop with no way?

    If I do this on a clean game of darts, by creating a large green circle, then a small white on top and then Pathfinder / Exclude, it works fine. The green circle now has a hole.

    Thanks in advance.

    I discovered the solution of messing around with the tools of Pathfinder and has decided to leave this place in case someone else has the problem.

    Rather than use Pathfinder > exclude following the instructions, I used Pathfinder > less prominent.  This example uses the foreground object (if you have selected more than one object (i.e. two circles bunk in my example) like a strawberry and leaves behind a transparent hole.)

    The circles are now contours (I know I could have created circles thick contours in the first place, but I inherited file .ai Adobe Stock and therefore had to work with what I had).

    Hope this helps others.

  • How to eject my iphone, or player card on my macbook air?  I don't want to disconnect and lose data...

    How to eject my iphone, or player card on my macbook air?  I don't want to disconnect and lose data...

    You won't lose data when you remove an iPhone, unless you're in the middle of the backup or synchronization of the device.

    If you see no activity in iTunes/Photos/etc... Then, it is safe to unplug.

    With a card reader (SD card?) you do drag the desktop icon to the trash. It turns into an arrow when you drag an icon ejector.

    Similarly, you can click Finder on the dock, then locate the reader on the left column and click on the "arrow" to the right of the device to eject it.

    I have problems with the form widget. When I created my forms, I need to leave out the line, one email because my client does not want the message line and two because those who have tried to fill the online form cannot submit because the 'email' box keep rejecting their email address valid. And I just tried to remove the line in my form and it does not allow me to delete or to mark it as not necessary either.

    Currently, there is no way around the field email forms of the Muse. Another option is to have a look at Jotforms or another third-party provider of shape that Muse has widgets for.

  • Contact form are not sent to email

    I've done loads of this time contact form and it works very well, but for some reason that this particular form are not sent to email. Php is good, so it must be my form. I'll put the two pieces of code up anyway. Thank you

    PHP:

    <? PHP

    If {($_POST)}

    If (! filter_input (INPUT_POST, 'email', FILTER_VALIDATE_EMAIL)) {}

    $message = 'Please enter a correct e-mail address' ;} else {}

    $name = strip_tags($_POST['name']);

    $company_name = strip_tags($_POST['company_name']);

    $telephone = strip_tags($_POST['telephone']);

    $email = $_POST ['email'];

    $comments = strip_tags($_POST['comments']);

      $to = ' [email protected] ';

    $subject = 'Under contact form.';

    $body = $name. "\n". $company_name. "\n". $telephone. "\n". $email. « \n ». $comments;

    $headers = ' from: '. $email;

    If (mail ($ $subject, $body, $headers)) {}

    echo ' please contact us. We\ will be in contact soon!';

    } else {}

    $message = ' sorry, an error has occurred. Please try again later.';

    }

    }}

    ? >

    <? PHP echo "< style p =" color: red "> $message < /p >"? >

    HTML:

    < form id = "contact form" action = "" method = "post" > "

    < p > name: < br / > < input name = "name" type = 'text' required / > < / p >

    < p > company name: < br / > < input name = "company" type = "text" required / > < / p >

    < p > telephone: < br / > < input name = "phone" type = "such" required / > < / p >

    < p > E-mail: < br / > < input name = "email" type = "email" required / > < / p >

    < p > comments: < br / > < textarea name = required "comments" / > < / textarea > < / p >

    < input type = "submit" name = "submit" value = "Send!" formmethod = 'post' / >

    < / make >

    There is nothing wrong with the PHP script. If the mail service is not available or for some reason any does not run, you get the message "Sorry, an error has occurred." Because you do not get this consignment, the problem lies elsewhere.

    The server administrator is a person. Mean nobody that does not work contact form and ask if mail is configured on the server and if there is a reason email PHP would not work.

  • How to NOT send some form data when the form is submitted

    Hello

    I created a PDF form with radio buttons in the Group and the boxes. When I the form of data, such as values using the submit by e-mail button to send form data as XML or merge data into a spreadsheet files, I'll see the data values for radio buttons and checkboxes.

    What I want here is to don't get the data values for some controls such as the boxes option, but no other controls like check boxes, in the XML or Excel worksheet after submission of the form. I know how to hide the controls in the form, but I have to the visible and active boxes on the form.

    Is there a way to hide or do not send form data when the form data is submitted?

    Thank you

    Sam

    Hi Kyle,.

    That's exactly what I want! Once I have not selected any data binding, the field is in shape and active, but when submitted as XML or it merge with a spreadsheet, the field is gone.

    Forgive me if I didn't my self clear in my question. Answer you is straight to the point.

    Thank you very much!

    I wanted to know if microsoft has sent an email asking for your username and password and what country you're stateing they were at your service day and need information to do

    Microsoft will never request this information in an unsolicited email. They are very likely that ask for any sort of password under any circumstances. Scam. Phishing attempt. Fake. Choose your own description. No Microsoft.

  • What is with the contact form? When I get emails from customers, it is but with my name as a sender and "email submission" as the subject, rather than the details of customers

    I hate the way my client emails come through, it creates more work and is a long time.

    Yes, your email is the account used so that's what the sender id is... This means a client or just someone poses a question doesn't have an email use your form.

    Some peope have emails and most of the people do not give their email address on a form online because they want not a box full of spam.

    PS you can have automatic most of servers (even simply hotmail) email sort your emails site generated in their own folder for easy sorting.

  • Created when saving an email on my hard drive

    Hello

    I copied a number of e-mails from Outlook on my hard drive by dragging them, that was the easy bit.

    However, when they are stored on the hard drive, creation Date is the date where I copied the email and not the date when the email was sent or received.

    Is it possible to have a column on my hard drive that shows the date when the email was created? This makes it much easier to search for a particular message.

    Thank you

  • I'll lose data from the drive of the partition during recovery?

    Hi all

    If I use the toshiba recovery CD to format my system, I'll lose data from the disks partition as well or just the C:?

    Hi Justin

    Well, what recovery CD you want to use?
    As much as I know several months Toshiba uses a new version of the CD recovery called Reco.
    You will find the settings option and there you can choose the option when you want to recover the operating system. I think that the first partition is erased.

    The old version of the recovery CD has supported two different options: standard and expert mode. Here it is important to use the expert mode if you want to choose the partition where the OS must be installed

  • Laptop damaged when sent for repair

    Thought I better warn people about the terrible service I received from Toshiba! I returned my phone to them for warranty repair. They arranged for UPS collect my phone Monday and I was sent an email Wednesday from Toshiba to inform me that they had received my laptop. Friday, I had a phone call to tell me that my laptop was damaged. Apparently, the hinge is broken and metal casing is badly bent and broken in a corner. The laptop let me in perfect condition, except for the touchpad works not that is why he has been sent for repair.

    Toshiba told me that I am responsible for the repair costs and argues that it was not packed correctly, even if I followed their recommendations to packaging. They also said that it was not packed in any film bubble, a complete lie like air bubbles was recorded around the laptop.

    I phoned UPS who say that Toshiba reported no damage and would have had to file a report. I also discovered that Toshiba do not take insurance when laptops are delivered with them! If I know that I would have never allowed my laptop to be sent to Germany. I asked for photos of my laptop to be sent to me and well that knows no ones what happened to it I think it has been unpacked and later dropped from someone at Toshiba. It may explain why it took 2 days after arrival to report damage to me and why Toshiba refuse to report the problem to the inverter!

    I have contacted Trading Standards and legal advice, I'm just wondering if it happened to someone else? I wanted to let people know that when they send their laptops that they are not insured for damage while shipping.

    Sorry to hear that.
    I really hope that you will be able to clarify this with the representatives of Toshiba.
