forms of Oracle not opening not in ie6

Hello
whenever I call my forms oracle from internet explorer 6, it still ask me to download jinitiator before the form can be opened and when I download, web forms pages display just a blank page while outside.
my forms is oracle 10 g 2 on OEL5
my database is oracle GR 11, 2 on OEL5
My OS is winXP on oracle VM VirtualBox.
the version of java that I use is 7.0.170.2.

the funny thing is that I could call another form from another machine OEL5 on this OS (winXP) even, but when I call this particular application, the question comes up.

Please what could be the problem?

Thanks in advance
AbdurRahman

FRM-92095: Version of Oracle Jinitiator too low. Please install the 1.1.8.2 version or higher.

Java 7 is not supported please what do you advice I do that I found myself in this situation.

As'salamualikum Abdur Rahman,.
Because you are using / 10g application call is not supported JRE version 1.7_XX. You must install JRE 1.6_XX. You can download it from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javasebusiness/downloads/java-archive-downloads-javase6-419409.html#jre-6u39-oth-JPR

Do not forget before you install 1.6_xx, uninstall the JRE version.

but do not forget formsweb.cfg must configure for JRE.

Another question, you said, you are able to call another application without error. Please check that the configuration, what is for?

Hope this helps

Please regenerate all JAR files through adadmin (with option of FORCE) and see if it helps.

Also, please check error_log and access_log files, you find more information about the error in these two files.

• load: oracle.forms.engine.Main not found stuck at loading Applet Java class

Hello

I recently installed App Server 10.1.2.0 on a new machine.
Copied all my forms on an appropriate directory. Implement formsweb.cfg to allow them to perform and attempted to run them.

Unfortunately, I'm stuck at loading Java Applet and screen in the status bar at the bottom that it is said:
load: class oracle.forms.engine.Main not found

I took a peek at the Java Console, and the 2 things that jump out to me are that it seems to be looking for a directory of forms90, which seems odd since I use App Server 10.1.2.0.2, and meaning of Forms Builder 10.1.2.0.2 should it be looking in a repertoire of forms not forms90 should - not?

And in addition, he mentions class without proxy, so now by browsing the forums it was suggested that put the details of proxy in jinitiator, what I did, but it made no difference either.

Can someone suggest something else please?

The Java Console log follows.

Thank you very much

• Procedure runs in SQL, but not in my form of Oracle

Hello. I have this code to send a warning message that the user is updating a file on my my form of Oracle database table. I use dbms_scheduler so that it is presented as a background task and so the treatment of electronic mail does not delay my Oracle to quickly record form. If I submit this code in SQL Plus, she runs and I receive the email as expected.
begin
dbms_scheduler.create_job (
job_name            => 'IMMEDIATE_JOB',
job_type            => 'PLSQL_BLOCK',
job_action          => 'begin TTMS.dropperVacationConflict_Notify (62547, ''01-SEP-11'', ''02-SEP-11''); end;',
number_of_arguments => 0,
start_date          => sysdate +1/24/59, -- sysdate + 1 minute
enabled             => TRUE,
auto_drop           => TRUE,
comments            => 'Immediate, one-time run');
end;
However if I submit this a subsequent update trigger code in my form, the code runs without error, but my email is never received (the same parameter values would be conveyed to this trigger):
begin

-- Submit the email notification in the background so as to not slow down the screen while saving.
dbms_scheduler.create_job (
job_name            => 'IMMEDIATE_JOB',
job_type            => 'PLSQL_BLOCK',
job_action          => 'begin TTMS.dropperVacationConflict_Notify (:dropper_vacations.dropper_id, :dropper_vacations.begin_dt, :dropper_vacations.end_dt); end;',
number_of_arguments => 0,
start_date          => sysdate +1/24/59, -- sysdate + 1 minute
enabled             => TRUE,
auto_drop           => TRUE,
comments            => 'Immediate, one-time run');
end;
Any ideas why this might be happening?

Oh, and of course after that you have a lot of other type conversions that may fail.

Let's take a look. You propose the work like this:

job_action => 'begin TTMS.dropperVacationemailurl_new ('||p_dropper_id||','|| p_begin_date||','||p_begin_date||'); end;',

p_begin_date and p_begin_date (why 2 times start date? in any case). are concattenated in a varchar2, so a type conversion occurs; the date format used is the nls_date_format of your session. If this will result to

begin TTMS.dropperVacationemailurl_new (1234,01-FEB-11,01-FEB-11); end;

now take this block and run it in SQL * more. I can see miles it won't work, because the date data types that you pass are not yet passed as strings.
It might work, if you pass them as strings:

begin TTMS.dropperVacationemailurl_new (1234,'01-FEB-11','01-FEB-11'); end;

but then I say I just change the nls_date_format of my session and break your code, because the implicit conversion from varchar2 to date will fail.

the very ugly solution for this should be

job_action => 'begin TTMS.dropperVacationemailurl_new ('||p_dropper_id||',to_date('''|| to_char(p_begin_date,'dd-mon-yy')||''', ''dd-mon-yy''),to_date('''|| to_char(p_begin_date,'dd-mon-yy')||''', ''dd-mon-yy'')'); end;'

If you have a tank that is converted to a date that you go to the external procedure which then gets converted to a tank which then gets converted to a date once again. My head hurts. If simply insert you dates into a table and select the dates in dropperVacationemailurl_new instead of 10000 conversions and pass them you wouldn't make 10000 converts and don't care the date format.

see you soon

• Newbie needs help can not compile a form of Oracle 10 g

I'm trying to compile a form in Oracle 10 G. in the/u01/dba/oracle/product/1012ias/bin directory there is a script called frmcmp.sh which I assume is the correct script to use. He calls the frmcmp executable (it means compiling form, right?). Anway, I get the error

FRM-91500: unable to start/complete the construction.

This is on a HP - UX, HP - UX 11.11 running machine.

I have unsuccessfully trying to get an answer on the Oracle website, and documentation that I have watched so far fail to solve the problem.

I hate being a newbie!

Thank you
Harold

for this you need to Xwindows session, if do not, you can do it by function as command line.

* frmcmp.sh USERID=manager/manager@dbname MODULE_TYPE = form MODULE = form.fmb *.

You must add the frmall.jar file to your project in JDeveloper. Click the head node of your project, and then choose the submenu project properties, then the node 'Libraries', to add the JAR file.

• Form data is not clear after closing

Hi all

I have fortunately developed these forms to 8.2 LCD until I got a call from customers say that there is a problem when they put the forms on a web page. If they meet one of these forms directly via IE6 (Acrobat 7) and then close IE upon arrival, the form is opened through the IE6 from the same computer all previous information remains on the form.

This problem happens not to computers running Acrobat 9. So, it looks like some a compatibility issue with Acrobat 7 but cannot find a way to fix it. No, the upgrade is not an option and is not in my control.

Thanks a lot for any help or suggestion!

• Oracle not available, ORA-01034 & ORA-27101

Hi all

OK, I went and he again (messed up). I hope someone can help to guide me out of this, I thought I was doing OK. I'll try to be concise and yet provide enough detail. Thank you in advance for wading in it. I searched this forum and others, I'm not the first with this pair of ORA errors, but other threads did not help me to solve this problem. I'll be crossed this announcement on other forums, but not to areas of discussion here.

Two questions:
1. that I did wrong, what should I have done before running / after running game patches? (I have the Oracle documentation for the patch, but I got confused/lost in all the information on clusters & other).
2. What can I do to get it back? (Other that scratch completely and start again, I have seem to be able to perform).

I have a production system currently running on Windows Server 32 10.2.0.5. I created a dump and was re-hosting to a new server to test the upgrade of 3rd request of the party who sits on Oracle (PTC Windchill) the new server running server 2003 64 - bit. I had Oracle 10.2.0.4 installed from a Windchill upgrade previous trial. I ask the 10.2.0.5 patch set on the new server before importing the dump, but now it throws the following errors when I try to connect to sqlplus system / < pwd > @sid:

ORA-01034: ORACLE not available
ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

How I got here:

a. before you start, I was able to connect to SQL * Plus, 10.2.0.4.0 as system / < pwd > @sid. I dropped the user of PTC Windchill database with waterfall, successfully.

b. in Services window, I stopped OracleServiceWIND, Oracle_HomeTNSListener and OracleDBConsloewind. They are the only Oracle services running.

c. Ran the installer downloaded Patch from Oracle to start YES. ORA-home identified, patch set correctly installed. Log in to the file installActions repors "installing Oracle Database 10 g Release 2 Patch Set 4 was successful." Log file written reports even.

d. open a command window and attempted to sql * more open as a system, has failed with above errors.

e. checked in Services window, all the Oracle services began. Ran > netstat - tcp, tnslistener.exe abnp showed listening on port 1521. See setting Oracle Net Configuration Assistant listener configured on port 1521

f. connected: sys as sysdba, declared 'connected to an instance inactive.' sql > exit

g. ran > lsnrctl status reports, correct version, listener.ora, ~. Newspaper. "Wind" service has 1 instance. Instance "wind", status UNKNOWN, has 1 handler for this service...

h. registered in sys as sysdba, declared 'Connected to an idle instance.' Ran > startup open; output report:
Instance Oracle began.
Total system global area
Fixed size
Variable size
.. .blah blah...
Mounted database.
ORA-01092: ORACLE instance is complete. Disconnection forced

I am at a loss. Services Windows seems to have all my Oracle services running. But I can't connect to SQL * more like the system/pwd@sid that I have always done as a test before you import the dump. Ideas, suggestions?

I thank very you much for your time and the help of a neophyte.

Sincerely,
Tom

What document you went through. Can you provide a link? the document must be clearly mentioned this post steps patch must be... After having patched usually you start the database with upgrade to startup and it takes a bit of time to come. After that, you need to stop & restart the database with normal startup command.

• Former owner will not take the time to remove his ACCT. I have his name, number, address, serial number, imei of the device. I've added it to my Verizon plan. I can't activate it! Apple won't help me but him?

Former owner is not the time to remove the device from his account. I have his name, number, address, serial number and imei of iphone. I always had of BONE cell phones, but my daughter IOS. I made sure that the IMEI was clean and it was not on the black list before adding it to my Verizon account. Now, I learned about icloud. Verizon has brought his number to the iphone and now she has no phone to use. I called apple, but I was told that they could not help me, but they might help the original owner. They original owner is older and perhaps confused after I tried to explain what I've learned. What can I do when the original owner is/was/still confused about how the system works? I'm always lost in this world of apple.

It sounds as if this iPhone is locked in Activation. Here is the complete description of locking Activation:

Assuming that the former owner is ready (but simply not able) to help you, maybe if you contact the owner and his or her through the directions above, you'll be all set.
