• ACS 5.6 Maximum by user sessions

  Hi all,

  I have a client that has installed a 5.6 ACS joined his announcement. He wants to limit the maximum number of sessions per user, but these users are authenticated by the AD. How can I limit sessions maximum?

  Hi David. In my opinion, that these settings apply to internal groups of the ACS. So in order to take advantage of those you need to map your ad to an internal group ACS groups and then apply the 'Max user political Session' to those. Here is a link with more information:

  ISE server has no such authorization that would restrict based on no.. a user can have connections. You can restrict or allow the user to the server.

  Please ask about this, it is a very good question. When we implemented this feature in version 2.0 of the product, us does not control over the type of checksum in the links (3 types) but for two situations: 1) declare links, as you noted, and links 2) dynamically generated as you can produce in your SQL report or in a region of PL/SQL. For the latter case, you must use the apex_util.prepare_url function to generate a link, passing the type of checksum by the signature of the function:

However, until we come back, it's a possible workaround solution: tell your link to calendar for the current application, page 10 and assigns to P10_ITEM with a value & P1_ITEM...   This link contains a checksum of the user level and can be bookmarked and reused later by the same user.

  When you try to send a message to a group set up in my address book, I get an error message [group name < updated the group description >] is not an email address valid because it is not the form user@host. You need to correct before sending the e-mail message. Thunderbird has apparently taken the description section and tried to treat it as an email address. In doing so, it changes the description of and the original format [names, name2, name 3] (with the exception of the hooks) of [< name >, name2, "name 3" >].

Being reluctant to try to re-enter an address book with more than 1,000 entries, I saved the book and replaced by a backup copy of a computer when I heard the e-mail function worked as desired. I went back to the address book, removed commas from the description, and my group e-mail went out as gently as might be desired.
  I would note that commas have been this likely description for 15 years or more and only now has caused a problem. I guess that's due to some changes in Thunderbird was last updated. Would be nice if we got warnings about this kind of change.

  It seems that lists with a description that includes several words have this problem. The bug report suggests to replace whites "" between the words in the descriptions of these lists with an underscore "_".

  If you don't want to change your descriptions, the other workaround provided still works.

  Normally, e-mail ID mentioned in the form user will be used for notifications.

  Maybe it's the logic of communicate notifications to the user appropriate through the identification of email attached to the respective user ID.
