  product_name: HP Pavilion Media Center TV m7475.uk, a desktop PC Bundle
  PART_NUMBER: EV989AA
  operating system: Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition
  description of the problem: when I turn on the computer it does not start and emits continuous about 3 second beeps separated by approximately 2 second gaps.
  The motherboard has AWARD BIOS.
  I looked at the beep codes for the BIOS on the HP site that says
  Continuous beep without pause = serious related problem of the system such as overheating of the CPU.
  It is not clear if this meens a continuous beep or an endless series of beeps.
  I looked inside of the case and the fins under the processor fan are very clogged with dust and lint, upward which means that the airflow to the CPU has been very poor.
  What are these beeps indicating?
  What is the overheating of the CPU?
  The CPU is likely to be damaged?
  The motherboard has a certain type of cutting to protect the CPU overheating?
  If I remove the cooler, clean mud, clean the old thermal paste and replace the cooler new thermal paste, what might solve the problem?
  Is there anything else that could cause this and how to solve it?

  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your Maplin power supply Tester is pretty much worthless. It only said the advertising.

  Unplug the power connector on the PSU.  Remove and then reinstall the memory modules. Give each module in the same slot DIMM you removed since.  Connect the power connector to the power supply and press the power button to see if it will boot into Windows.

  Please post your results.

• I need a new set of eyes to look at my work, could help forum?

  Hi forum members.

  I started with no experience with Illustrator, Photoshop or character animator. Never heard of the puppet animation until I saw a video on You Tube. But through the magic of blind chance, I a puppet. It only took 4 months. But it does not work.

  I would like the form to look at a few screenshots, and discovered by the structure and layers. IHAVE tried to produce the puppet as "Wilk". But when I imported it Ch nothing happens. No lip SNYC, no movement of the head, eyes or eyebrows.

  The puppet contains only the frontal view, have four heads more to add. In addition, 9 games to hand more.

  Another look at the structure of Wilk - it seems that you have the right parts, but just the group/organize properly.

  1. put your point of view within a leading group.

  2. place your pieces (such as the mouth and eyes) within the groups named as Wilk.

  I think once you emulate that structure a little closer, things should start to work.

  

• This function SUMIF - a silly question

  This is my first attempt of spreadsheeting, and as my first attempts to skateboard, he seems doomed.

  I am trying to create ITEM(that's the column name) SUMIF, 'Lighting', cost.

  I want to total my spend on lighting (which appears in the column of the item)

  Then the worksheet should look in the column "ITEM" for any reference to 'Light' and total costs in a separate table.

  

  In an effort to simplify life for my part, I took one of my tables of existing work that creates the totals of the 'Provider' column and then duplicated it, gave it a new name and then tried to edit to give me the result I wanted. Thought that would be easy: replace 'Provider', with 'Point' and research 'Acorn' term with the new term "lighting".

  Doesn't seem to work like that so.

  I opened the formula and highlight 'Provider' and then click on 'Point' in my main table in the hope that "Item" would replace then 'provider', instead, I get "Table1::A1" and it does not work!

  Tried several other combinations of clicking and swear, but nothing seems to allow me to edit my stand-alone tables to another role.

  Now I don't know the answer will be simple and direct, but as far as spreadsheets go I am a fool and it's the first I've ever used.

  So be gentle with me please and tell me how to do it.

  One of the things I like about numbers is how it is easy to create formulas. Point and click where it is about for me.

  First of all, I would like to suggest that look on the personal budget template. It uses a little SUMIF () to collect the totals.

  

  Notice the difference in my formula. In table 2::B2 my SUMIF resembles the table 1::A table 2::A2 value. When he finds it, he adds the values in the 1::B Table. If the Clients were points and 'A' has been 'light' we would do.

  A note. If you search for "light" in a cell that contains 'Acme Lighting' you will not return a value.

  Here's how to create a formula.

  

  I typed '=' to B2, then "SUMIF" and press return.

  I'm not able to get the display of macbook to smart tv via HDMI cable.  Here are some of the conclusions that I have. Can someone please shed some light on this weird question.

  -TV says 'No Signal'.

  -J' checked the cable is good since I'm able to get my Dell Latitude processors E7450 and controller display.

  -Go to Preferences > display. I see no possibility to detect the display etc...

  -Able to connect same macbook to the sony smart tv at my friend using the same cable and it's all good.

  At this point, I am not able to understand where is the problem... TV or Macbook

  Hmm. Have you tried to get your friend or someone connect to your Samsung Smart TV?  It does seem like your Macbook or the cable are the issue.

  Edit: actually re read your post. I think that to see the option detect go to Preferences > poster under view press on and hold down the option key. bottom right, it should appear.

• I'm too mad to a valid title.

• HP Pavilion 500-314: IDT High Definition Audio works do not (HP Pavilion 500-314)

  Hello.  I have a HP Pavilion 500-314.  It works on Windows 10.  My audio worked fine until I had to reset the computer after my computer went into a loop of "prepare the AutoFix.  Once I reset the computer, there was an 'x' next to the small speaker icon in the lower right corner.  When I move my mouse over the "speaker" icon, he says "no speakers or headphones are connected.  It drives me crazy that the other posts about the IDT High Definition Audio did not work.   I would appreciate a quick response.  Thank you for your time.

• Replacing screen on a Tecra A10

  Dear forum members
  I would like to know if you have a broken on those screen tecra A10, we could eliminate a screen from another similar machine that is faulty, but has an intact screen.

  You won't find that everything disassemble manuals on the pages of Toshiba.
  You can find manuals the user only for models of simple laptops that are provided for ordinary users.

  I guess you will need to search on the internet for some details how to disassemble the Tecra A10.
  Use google and search + Tecra A10 irisvista +.
  Then you should get a few hits on Tecra A10 disassembly

• Need advice on creating DVDs - Qosmio G20

  In recent weeks, I am a happy owner of Qosmio G20. The camera is awesome and I have a lot of fun with it. Now I have the ability to create DVD movies because I Dona ¢ A? Â? t want to plug my cam on television every time if I want to watch the material recorded from my last vacation.

  I can connect my cam on the case without problems and can be recognized correctly. The video material is copied on the HARD drive, but when the DVD is created the image quality is very bad (LCD TV). I tried with a few different applications (WinDVD creator, Adobe premiere and Nero Vision Express), but always with the same result.

  I'll be very grateful if any of you have experience with the creations of DVD and try to explain to me what can do to make it better.

  Could have different reasons:

  -Kompression
  try to set the MPEG compression at a higher quality (means: larger file size-> better.)

  -Cables used:

  Try to use RGB (SCART, YUV) or cable (aka Hosiden) SVHS instead of Chinch-video (aka FBAS).
  Also try to use good quality cables (not only those in the category - 5) here.

  -Monitor the device (used TV)
  Try to see the videos on a common TUBE TV (CRT) (not LCD or Plasma, not even on the tube cathode-pc screens)
  On the LCD or PLASMA TV screen you will be self a greater amount of compression artifacts.

  Please tell me if this solves the problem.

  As far as I know the Toshiba BT software on Toshiba laptops works without license code. In the past, a few forum members have reported on the similar question but using non-Toshiba laptop.

• PROTECTED P4000 - update the BIOS without a floppy drive

  I have a P4000 protégé who, I believe, was initially purchased without floppy drive. Now that I'm the Win XP operating system upgrade I need to install more memory, and like many other forum members point out it will not work without a BIOS update.

  However the BIOS available on the site is for the installation of Tranditional only and requires a floppy drive (which I did not). Is it possible to obtain a version that runs under Windows, or find another way to start the traditional installation? The site seems to suggest that the installation of Windows is favored, but the software is not provided.

  As much as I know upgrade memory is not dependent on the latest version of the BIOS, and if you use compatible module there are not any problem. Anyway, I'm not 100% sure but I think you can do the BIOS update using the SD card.

  If you have the time and opportunities please try it and let us know if it works.

  By the way: all the updates to the BIOS are on the Toshiba download page and there are no other versions.

  My laptop is a strange virus recurrent (at least, I think it is a virus). Which makes the machine very difficult to use and totally unpredicable.

  The symptoms of the virus are difficult to define making it very difficult to find a solution.

  The computer is very slow to open.

  It does not make an entry in the brower, if you try an entry, it puts just in one example the broken lines.

  When you try to close the broken lines more and what you should do a hard exist to stop.

  You cannot type in a new document, because you get more broken - lines

  The cursor is passed to a "forced" round doughnut.

  The e-mail software is very slow to open, once opened as soon as you click the last incoming emails, they disappear just to return to the latter.

  This is now the third time that this virus has appeard. I usually download CC Cleaner and it seems to go away.

  Today I tried again and it did not work. I'm starting to think that perhaps CC cleaner is not dealing with the cause of this problem

  The machine has Bit Defender... after a full scan the identities no problem.

  Anyone experience this or have a solution for this?

  If Bitdefender does not find any malware I would check for corruption of the system with sfc/scannow.
