Foxfire to access a word by clicking on the listed web site doc?

I have a list of sites on a word document in the past, I could ctrl/click and the site, and it would open the Mozilla Foxfire. How to restore this function?

Usually, if you just put Firefox as default browser should not be no problem.
What happens when you try this?

I also saw that you have a few extensions that require updates:

  • F:\ is not accessible. Access denied when you click on the DVD drive.

DVD players appear as 'Local disk' and if you click on it in Explorer, I get a message that says said: "F:\ is not accessible. Access is denied. "

I can burn a movie for DVD (one internal, one external) players, but cannot access drives via Explorer.  the title of the CD or the DVD appears in the description of the letter, but I can't click on the drive.  If I run as administrator command prompt, I can implement the two disks and use DIR.  I can even run executables on the disks.  It almost seems that Explorer is no longer as administrator (even when I explicitly tell Explorer to run as administrator).

This is not happening to me on a Machine running Windows 7. Has been registered as a user of the network. Logged in as a local administrator and the same problem. I solved the problem by removing the device in Device Manager and scan for hardware change. Windows 7 has re-installed the unit, and I was then able to access the drive.

  • When I use any shortcut to access a Web site, firefox will open the google Web site. How to fix?

Suddenly, about 3 days ago whenever I click a shortcut on the desktop to a Web site, firefox opens a google home page. the only way I can use firefox to access websites is to type a url into the address bar on the google page. all my desktop shortcuts open up to the google home page.
major problem is that desktop shortcuts show url until firefox opens the Web page.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

  • Cannot access a link or an option within a Web site

    Dear Community Forum

I can't link in a tab connected to and a Web site to apply for a specific role option announced within a recruitment agency Web site.

They can't help me because it seems like my PC problem.

One site is the only one that I struggle with.

I use a lot and I think it's a specific program that they use that I do not have access to, or I put in place something that is blocking the links or the retaining tabs.

I would like a step by step answer.

    Thank you

Do you use a pop-up blocker with Chrome?

I went on this WWW site:

    http://www.Charterhouse.com.au/index.php

    Sought administrative work:

I see a list of vacancies, click on one and see this:

There is no information about the position or how to continue to apply.

If I disable my pop-up blocker (Adblock Plus) and refresh the page (F5), it seems to work very well with Chrome and Firefox.

If you use a pop-up blocker, turn it off when you use this site and see how things work.

If it still does not respond, you can use Internet Explorer or Safari, you will see a lot more information:

  • MS word offers the option of Microsoft Word 2010 (2) in the list of the start menu

Original title: program registration under Start button

Today, when I was looking for a program that is displayed when I select the Start button, I noticed that the number 2 see the next to registration for Microsoft Word 2010.  It looks now like this: Microsoft Word 2010 (2)

I don't think it was like that the other day when I finally used Word.  Any ideas on why it would start that looks like this?  I made no changes to my computer.

I use Microsoft 7 Home Premium.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hey Debba,.

-You have two entries in the start menu for Microsoft Word? One is Microsoft Windows Word 2010 (2) and the other is Microsoft Word 2010 Microsoft Office on the start menu?

-Is this Microsoft Word 2010 (2) successfully opened?

-This happens to you with other programs in the list?

If there are two icons for Microsoft Word 2010 on the Start menu, remove the icon of Windows of Microsoft Word 2010 (2).

All you have to do is click on Microsoft Word 2010 (2) and click on remove from this list.

This seems to be only a Microsoft Word 2010 shortcut added to the list of the start menu.

Hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let us know.

  • How to allow a Word document to copy to a web site?

I seek to copy Word documents in Discussion forums on the web sites of the University, but I am blocked by Firefox. What should I do to change this?

    Hello

You say attached the file to a discussion forum or copy the text in the forum?

If you try to do the first, it cannot be a problem with Firefox, but more the design of the forum. You can try to convert the file to a *.pdf file using your word-processing software and then download the converted file.

I hope this helps, but if not, please come back here and we can look at another solution for you.

  • CTRL + click / SHIFT + click does not not on the specific Web site

I'm an admin for this blog site: http://undividedblog.org.uk/

If you use Firefox, I discovered that, for almost all of the links on the site above, perform a CTRL + click or a SHIFT + click the link does not open the link in a new tab or window, but on the contrary is no nothing that either.

I tested a 22.0 Firefox running on two separate computers, and a Firefox running 16.0.2, and machines/versions behave exactly the same way, i.e. CTRL + click and SHIFT + click the links does nothing.

By clicking normal on the links behave as expected, navigate to the location of the link. Using the right click > open link in a new tab, or right click > open the link in a new window works fine too.

I tried CTRL + click and SHIFT + click on the site above using the two Chrome and IE, and they work fine. So I've narrowed the issue down to be something to do with the way Firefox processes the HTML of the site. Firefox on both machines deals very well with links on other sites by doing a CTRL + click or SHIFT + click. but not on this specific site.

Can someone help me to find out why this is happening? Why is that a problem on Firefox? What is the specific site that Firefox has issues with?

Thanks long before any wisdom or experience that you can lend to it. She was driving me crazy, as I have always used Firefox and I rely heavily on CTRL/SHIFT + click, especially when doing admin stuff.

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

    Thank you.
