• Defining a poster frame for iCloud, photo sharing

  The Question:

  How to set a custom frame displays for videos shared via iCloud, photo sharing?

  
  

  Use case:

  I have converted old home movies VHS into segments of small 3-5 minutes and you want to share these clips to my family via iCloud, photo sharing. This will allow the videos to travel with them on their iPhone.

  The problem:

  These segments are stored in the Photos app. I have chosen some of these segments and chose an image poster - it works. I right click, choose sharing to iCloud, photo sharing. The file appears in a newly shared album, but the poster frame is returned to the first frame of the video. In the case of the VHS, it's a blurred image, or a framework that does not clearly show the content (for example, a sofa, or heaven).

  Right-clicking on a video gray shared on the option to reselect a poster frame.

  

  What you need to do is clip from the first few frames of video in PHotos. Double-click on the video to open it in read mode.  Click on the speed on the right button and select Trim.

  

  Turn the left side of the yellow box to the right to remove foires executives

  

  Click on the button on the right.

  

  Now try to add to the shared album.

  

• Want to iCloud Pages/numbers, others do not. How?

  In iOS, I would like some documents Pages or numbers on my device (iPhone or iPad) but not to iCloud. Others that I want in iCloud so that I can access it on all of my devices.

  Is this possible to iOS?

  You can use another method/service with a third-party application such as the file manager or of Documents and eventually to achieve this goal. But with iCloud only, no.

• Name exported a PDF with the text in a frame on each page

  Does anyone have an idea how to do the following

  I intend on creating a document of 100 pages say. On each page will be a photo of a product and some blocks of text. In a frames will be code SKU of the product - let's get manually.

  What I want, what are we can export then each page as a separate PDF and each PDF file name is taken from the SKU code present in the enclosed block of text with .pdf.

  Did someone do something like that?

• Texts vertical frames in master pages...

  Have a book with text and a large section of photographs of landscapes.

  Tried to put the captions for the photos (just below to conventionally with a list in the form) with 2 methods:

  (a) reducing the margins until you get a text box where streams of captions, but the text was placed horizontally (of course...)

  (b) put 2 threaded vertical blocks of text in the master page, but could not move the text in regular pages...

  So, let's see if I have this right now.

  You put two blocks of text on the propagation master to hold the captions and each of them turned 90 degrees anti-clockwise. You put on the frame on the left than on the right page. The captions are all on a continuous history and you've built so as to make each legend begin in the next section. Is all of this true?

  I have a photo gallery using a database and need the thumbnail on the left side to open the correct image in the right frame.

• I added your theme, it is on the frame of the page, to remove

  Wanted to add new desktop themes, has added some of your new suggested themes, but on the contrary they show only on the edges of the pages. Now I can't delete it for return to the Firefox basic page theme. Entered the office and it does not list the new Firefox themes as option. Help.

  Use a type of compressed as PNG or JPG image to save the screenshot.

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

• Piece placed in the frame/on another page in the same InDesign document

  In master pages, I have an A4 landscape page, which must be repeated on several other A3 (portrait) master pages in the same document (so I have to only make changes once). Maybe it's not a link to an external document.

  It looks like this:

  Master A (A4 landscape)		Master B (portrait A3)		Master C (portrait A3)
  		Top: content B		High: Master
  A Master content		Downstairs: master		Downstairs: C content

  Another method might be:

  Make a master.

  Master B do as child of Master A, extend upwards with the page tool

  Master C extend downwards with the tool of the page.

• Pages on issues of formatting to iCloud

  Hey everybody,

  I created a document Pages using the Pages application on my macbook pro I downloaded then to iCloud Pages so that I can access it from any computer. The issue I'm having is that I formatted some of the text to have a black background and the text to yellow color. For the life of me I can't understand how to change the background color of text on the Pages of iCloud. I beginning to think that changing the background color of text just is not possible on the platform of iCloud, but wanted to put this out there just to make sure.

  I appreciate any help or clarification on this issue.

  Background (highlight) text color controls are absent in the Pages for iCloud, because it is a subset of Pages for Mac.

  This has been discussed in a previous post here, not so long ago.

• Cannot access a document pages to icloud after Windows update

  After a recent upgrade to iCloud on my 10 Windows PC, I couldn't open one of my iCloud Pages documents.  I see the file on my computer (iCloud drive Windows), iCloud.com / #Pages and on my other Apple devices, but I can't open or download.  The app Pages on my apple devices indicate a file update, but after 2 days it has not completed update.  I do not see the file on the iCloud.com / #iClouddrive, and I do not see it on the list of files to restore.  If I try to access it from iCloud.com / #pages, the error message is generic, indicating that "something" went wrong and try again later.

  Where to get this file?  Anyone know how I can access?

  For Windows 10, you will need a minimum of iCloud 5.2 for Windows installed. Check your version, because maybe that's a problem.

  My experience with Windows 10 so far is that the update of the anniversary has destroyed a Windows 10 (VirtualBox 5.1.4) system that worked before and will refresh not simply a true PC running Windows 10, due to an error in installation script.

  A document Pages on Windows is like Robinson Crusoe on Mars.

• Documents of the pages do not download to iCloud - Mac pages; problem just started today.   Another trouble, anyone?

  Documents created in Pages not updated to iCloud-Pages.  That start today.  I get a symbol of the cloud in the list of files, and it won't go away.

• When exporting to pdf format how can I stop the character and dialogue being separated by a break of page pls?

  As part of my course of MY I submitted a script exported to .pdf, and when I arrived at the bottom of the page the name of the character is sometimes separated from the Dialogue.

  I received a note from my tutor about it is formatted, but I doubt that the answer is to take in unwanted blank line that he would so ruin anything earlier moves downwards.

  Is there a way to get around this please?

  I guess you can try two things

  -You can insert a page break before this character. i.e.

  - or you can try to disable "more & more" in the view menu. He must move such sequences of characters-dialogue on the next page.

• Table of contents using a style/section of the master page

  I'm at the top of my head I think... and probably incorrectly to the top of my document.  I hope I can quickly explain where I am:

  Question 1

  I'd like a Table of contents to use 10 section headers that appear throughout my document.  Here's how I set up:

  • In the master page, a place for the header of section and it gives a paragraph style.
  • Then, throughout the document, I used the "numbering and section options" start each new section and give this article is the unique name.

  When I went to generate the Table of contents, I've specified using this particular paragraph style that I used for the section headers, but nothing appears (except for the title, I asked for the General table of contents).  It's as if this isn't to find the sections - or this style (which applies only to the master page).

  Where am I wrong?

  I wish that my Table of contents, not numbered.  How do I do that?

  I don't know that you understood my post. I was able to do exactly what you did - create a master page with a frame and the section marker character (indicating "section" on the master page) and then add the actual text of the marker in the numbering and section options. The text appears on the page of live document.

  When I tried to do a table of contents, text was not resumed UNTIL I selected and carried this master frame on the page of the document (Ctrl + Shift + click on Windows or Cmd + Shift + click on Mac on the image that you want to replace). After substitution, the text appeared as scheduled in the table of contents.

  You're right about the number of page for this page. You can use another master without a page number, or you can cancel and delete the master page number frame. I assume that you will need to use a different master for the first page and pages in any section to avoid having the marker appear on all pages, or you can replace only the first page so that you don't repeat entries in the table of contents for each page of each section.  If you use the marker as a running header Section, you can learn more about Variables header running in the help files in place. In many ways, the use of a variable can be simpler and more direct.

• The arrow in the frame 9 characters

  Greetings,

  Trying to create an arrow to the right in the frame 9. Page 15 of the document ADOBE® FRAMEMAKER® 9 character sets says this:

  0174 \xae command + q → arrowright.

  Pressing Alt (with NumLock on) more 0174 does not work. Nor does the keyboard shortcut. What is the best way? The file-> utilities-> Hex input does not work either. The character palette shows the point I need, but it inserts something other than the image. I tried different fonts.

  Try this:

  1. Insert the code, for example alt + 0174, and you should see the symbol of the registry:®

  2. Select this character.

  3 apply the symbol character style you created.

  4. you should now see the right arrow.
