• extending from the mounting grid

  Hi - I hope that this is a very stupid question with a very simple solution, but I looked and looked and I can't find an answer.

  When I open a new project in Flash CS5, the timeline grid turns off only to 600 frames or more.  I have a minute three audio track I want to insert frame 1, and 24 fps, which means that it should end around the 7200 frame.  What I want to do is to extend the grid frames 7200 - until I drag my audio clip in, or once I have it in.

  If I set keyframes at 1 and 5, say and drag my audio track to frame 1, it seems he'll play throughout the use of the controller, but my timeline grid is still only 600 frames long, and the next thing I want to do is something that happens to the 6000 member... I still can't get there.

  I know that this may mean that I've some despise total on the way to the timeline / grid is supposed to work, and if this is the case, I hope you can enlighten... basically what I end up with is my audio clip of 3 minutes on the timeline, and the timeline grid extending up to the END of my audio clip so that I can start throwing images any me time during audio.  The last time I did it, I created a dummy layer, put in a keyframe to 600, causing the grid for extned to 1200... Repeat 10 times to get to my desired length, then set start and end keyframes on my Audio channel, import my audio and remove the dummy later.  Surely, there must be an easier way!

  1. you can extend your timeline by scrolling the image you want to (or away your image above) right click on the timeline, and then clicking Insert picture.  If you need more pictures, scroll to the right and repeat.

  2. your sound will play since its inception until its arrival regardless of the scenario, IF you have the sync event property.  If you want to sound synchronization would be with your timeline (for example, start/stop when the timeline starts / stops), assign the property of synchronization stream.   Synchronization properties can be affected in the properties panel, after clicking the keyframe that contains your sound.

  What is the difference between the width of the image and the width of the image? If it is less than 3.2 mm (and it sounds like it could be), then you can see the same bug that Andrew Millar described last month:

  The problem occurs in InDesign CS3 and CS4 on Mac & PC (XP) (10.5.8). If you have a picture in a picture frame and the frame is crop the image less. 0625 "(1/16th) * and you export a PDF the frame disappears." This reveals the image that shouldn't be there.

  If crop you the image. 0625 * or more or if the frame fits the image is no problem. The image is not move or scale when that happens, you get just a small piece of the picture that should not be there.

  • I don't know about the exact measure, I know that 1/16 works around a 1/64 is not (Yes we have that picky customers)

  So if you can invent your image more than 1.6 mm larger than the frame (just sufficient it a fraction) on all the edges, this bug should stop biting according to tests of Andrew. It will take about 58.5 mm width if this framework is 55 mm wide.

• Cannot remove an xbox360 Extender. The status of the Extender shows as visible, but not mount.

  I'm using windows 7, 64-bit computer. I could connect the extender to the xbox, the first time I tried. Then I unplugged the Extender to try to connect to another computer. Now when I come back in WMC, it is picking up the xbox 360 extender, but it seems to be looking for the old 8-digit code. Any time I try to put in the new code, I get the configuration error. There is also no option to remove the extender for the xbox that WMC is recovering. I tried to remove the certificate that is generated. A new certificate is generated every time that I put in the 8 digit code, but still not login... McAfee Firewall is also disabled. Also tried turning off WMC and on again. What Miss me?

  Since you are using Windows XP, your version of Windows Live Messenger be WLMsgr 2009.

  Once you determine the digital records of your single Live ID database (shadow and primary) and the program created 'default' you can check the size of each. If you feel that your registry database shows other numeric names (created using other Live ID or perhaps due to an error by typing a user name in the Messenger sign-in box) and these folders can be deleted safely.  Note: you may need to configure Windows Explorer to show hidden and system files to see when viewing in Windows Explorer.

  In addition, you can also, as your contacts are stored online at contacts.live.com, after closing of Messenger remove the any local digital database called folders (for the primary shadow and if is the default). WLMsgr will recreate them on next signon and rebuild any local database folders and files based on what it sync (downloads) of the Live Server to contacts.live.com.

  -Before the deletion of all files, it would be wise to connect to contacts.live.com and check that all your contacts are indeed present and represent for and for saving documents to archives/purposes export contacts to a csv file using the web UI option... Once completed then disconnection from the web UI.

  -Do not, and I it cannot emphasize enough strongly, do not delete anything from the web interface before you delete the local databases on your hard drive (you can always return to contacts.live.com later to manage the contacts (remove, clean the unused or duplicates, merge duplicates etc.) if necessary after WLMsgr recreates local databases.)

  Once done your registry key should show that three databases total (assuming you are using only a Live ID in WLMsgr)-the main and shadow for that Live ID and a default value (if it is created by the program).

  You should have enough information to move forward or to ask additional questions.

  As I mentioned earlier that, at a minimum, an empty list of contacts would be at least some multiple approx. 24 MB. Since you use WLMsgr 2009, and it uses a primary and shadow, the minimum size of about for you with no contact would be approximately 72MB (24 MB for each - primary, shadow and by default). As well as the contacts are added, the primary databases and shadows will be size.

Contacts in Outlook (when the mail is configured to use Pop3 or DeltaSync with Outlook Hotmail Connector) are stored in the Outlook profile contacts, and quite separate from the WLMsgr database (i.e. neither Outlook or WLMsgr program communicates or synchronize or share data with each other to keep the feature)

  FYI... not associated with 2009, but 2011 (for those who read along. WLM 2011 no longer uses the approach of two (primary and shadow) file for databases local contact so databases are smaller and also more robust in 2011 and better synchronize.  Finally, with respect to the use of 2009, wysiwyg... no other upgrades for 2009 are planned (the code was frozen for more than a year, the latest version (never) released in May 2010).

• Windows desktop extends beyond the edges of the screen to the external monitor.

  I have a laptop Sony Vaio with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I connected the laptop to my Samsung HDTV via HDMI 24 ". I put it to only show the desktop on the HD TV, but the Office extends beyond the borders of the HDTV screen. The screen resolution is set at 1280 x 720, which is native to the computer, I assume (and is a native of HDTV), because it is "recommended" setting windows I tried other resolutions without success, at some resolutions of the Office does extend as far beyond the borders of the HDTV, but no resolution, I can get a full view of the desktop. I went through the menu of the HDTV, and there are no settings that affect the problem. I think I saw something, somewhere has said how to solve this problem the first time I plugged the computer laptop to this HDTV (in this context), that the Office has been shown correctly after you follow the instructions on the popup dialog box, or any that I have seen this information) , but now I am facing this problem with no instruction on how to fix the problem at this time. A screenshot shows the entire office, not only what I see on the HDTV screen.

  After having said all that, I found that a resolution of 1600 x 900 puts the entire desktop on the screen, but it has very thin black borders and the text is so small I can barely read. Also at this resolution, screen appears nervous, but I can't change the Hz, who looks like 50 Hz or 60 Hz, it is too small and the text is indistinct. I don't think that I couldn't bear to look at the screen for a long time at this resolution.

  What intrigues me the most is that it worked the first time I'm connected. I have also a desktop connected to the HDTV, but by the VGA connector and the resolution, it is set at 1280 x 720 native resolution of the HDTV and the office is very well, printing is clearly readable and there is no jitteryness.

  TV is designed to "overscan" the area of the input signal.  This is why video editors must ensure that labels and legends fit within the "security of title area.

  Some TV designed to be used as product views or big screens (for example the retail stores) have options to disable overscan, but most of the consumption patterns are not.
  Your best bet is to use the "native resolution" of television, or the exact number of points, he did, so that he doesn't have to stretch or scale the image.  Sometimes your graphic card has overscan settings options too.  I know with certainty that most model ATI video cards do.  To access it, right click on your desktop and go to the resolution of the screen, then click the advanced settings link.

  I have a Windows 7 Media Center box, and an Xbox 360 that I use as an Extender.  The two connections to the same wired router.  Everything worked fine until I went on my old router (failed) and put in a WNDR4300.   After the new router has been installed, I didn't have the Extender work then, deleted from the media Center and re - he added.  It worked but after I shut off/started the xbox, no link.  It is repetitive: I can make a new connection, but then it didn't reconnect after reboot of the xbox.

  Check/change:

  -J' changed to a static IP xbox

  -There is no part 3 a / v or a firewall on the support center

  -L' on the media center network adapter is 'home '.

  -The network card on the media center * fact * show the xbox 360

  -The event log after the xbox is restarted shows:

  event ID 538: installation of media center extender does not like the Extender has been detected on the network, but for the Extender upnp search failed (timed out after 20000ms)

  -How long before it, I have found that the service IS running upnp device host (and set to auto)

  -J' checked 4300 router wndr and UPnP is enabled (advertising set to 30 minutes)

• Media center immediately crashes when I try to add the extender for the Xbox 360

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.  I try to add the extender for the Xbox 360 to Windows Media Center. When I go to Media Center tasks and add an Extender, Media Center crashes immediately after I enter my Xbox console 8-digit code and click Next.  I have disabled the firewall of the router and firewall windows without success.  Restart the computer and the Xbox has not helped either.  Any suggestions that I can not yet put in place the Extender?
