Free transformation problem

Hello.

I use free transform a little and I think I accidentally hit a session which causes an error when I try to resize with free transform. I do an animated storyboard (animatic) and creates a lot of material in the PScs6.

Here's an example of my problem:

When I put a layer or an image in photoshop the reselution seems well. I have cut it down using free transform to a Board and then I want to free the same transform layer and make the largest object in the next Board of Directors. The problem is when I do this the remains of the reselution "shrunk" version It does not become, and I find myself with a version low resolution of the layer that I want to use over and over again. I used the free transform a bit in the past with none of the drama so I guess I have enabled or disabled a setting somewhere.

Can someone help me to rectify this situation.

Thank you!

Scott, when you reduce the image with transformation, PS throw pixels to enlarge the image to its smaller size. more reduce you it, the pixels further, he throws. Then when you use transform again to expand it to the next Board of Directors, he must try to reinvent the pixels lost, with the result an image low resolution polyhedral. The solution is to convert the image to a smart object before reduce you. To do this, go to the layers panel, right-click on the image layer and select Convert to smart object. Who saves a copy of the full resolution that can be used when you shrink and then enlarge the image. Of course, if you make the image larger than its original size, PS will have to invent pixels, reducing the quality once more.

  • Problems with Free Transform tool in CS4

I use free transform tool on PC before, first time on Mac. I noticed something different on Mac. Whenever I select free transform and manipulate the image I want, the rest of the original image, not processed on the same layer, if I get an overlap of the transformed image I want with the original image below. It was not that big of a problem before, but the more I use it, more annoying this problem appears. Is it possible to fix this?

  • Problem with free transform [was: resize tool help!]

To resize a layer using free transform, it's only allowing me to use the rotation tool.  How can I change that so I can resize vs turn?

Float your cursor over the corner and then it will change to the one shown above. When you resize, hold down the SHIFT key to keep the proportion.

Or, choose the command Edition > transform > scale

  • Free transform tool does not.

I use 13 elements on an iMac OSX 10.10.3.The free transform tool does not work properly when I try to put a picture. for example, if I type in 140% ' and tick 'constrain proportions', I think a single Watch '140' box and the other box shows 14% ", or sometimes, '120'." It's very frustrating. anyone has any ideas about this problem?

  • Free transform tool

Just installed Indesign CC on PC. In previous versions when I would be free transforms an object or a group of text, I could see the item selected/expand/processing of scale in real-time. Now I can see the framework for the transformation of the object and the real object will change only after I published the mouse. It's a whole new generation of PC with a GPU, so it shouldn't be a performance problem. Is there a preference or option I neglected to remedy this?

The default value for the Live screen drawing is now 'delay' in the preferences. You can change it to 'Immediate '.

  • Cannot use free transform automatically, why?

Hello, I need your help with some information on free transform.

When I draw a square for example (or any other form), I need to press the "E" key (free transform tool), to resize it, otherwise does not automatically work, it's my problem.

I want the free transform either automatically, in this way I work easily.

Please explain to me how I can do it.

    Thank you very much!

Explore toggle Cmd (Ctrl) - SHIFT - B, which is the shortcut to show/hide the rectangle enclosing. Is that what you want?

  • How to get rid of lines of free transform

I reworked an object by using the free transform tool. But now I have unwanted pencil - like lines around the part of the subject, I can't get rid of them. Anyway, I tried out on a background layer lines, then a layer via copy and clone tool doesn, t cloning work. I have reset tools. When I taste with alt-click (Mac) and then go make the clone, the miniature passes of the photo thumbnail to where I can see a transparent layer or checkerboard below as I'm not supposed to be able to do this function. So, I can't get rid of these free transform the lines and I have a problem of clone stamp.

Save your PSD if you want to keep the layers for future editing. Then click on the menu on the top layer > Flatten Image

You should now be able to clone.

  • Free transform in Illustrator CS4

    Hello

I use CS4 and have problems with distortion free tool.

I didn't even know it existed until I Googled it and always stuck to the opposite of what I wanted in the PS, pixelated, distorted, then stuck in illustrator and goes back with new prospects.

I'm trying to follow this tutorial-

    http://help.Adobe.com/en_US/Illustrator/14.0/WS714a382cdf7d304e7e07d0100196cbc5f-646da.htm l

However, when I select my items, then use the free transformation he does change the size as if I use the resize tool.

I tried to select all the objects and individuals, put them in a group, and even do it all in (1) large transparent route and it's still doing the same thing every time.

Possession of the different keys that he mentions do nothing except change the point at which the resize occurs (the lower right to the Center and so on)

With the help of the tool free deformation under impact does not change where are my anchor points. Ideally I would move those so while transforming free, although perhaps I'm just wishing the program could do more than he can?

I hope someone can help me do what I want.

I want to go from point A to point B as shown here-

    http://i44.Tinypic.com/msgj75.jpg

but without the use of collage in photoshop to do.

    Thank you!

  • using free transform

use cs3... trying to free transform, but for some reason any menu, I can not use the didstort or from the point of view work... What do I do to make it active?

    Thank you!!

Are you trying to transform a smart object layer? In CS3, you cannot use the Perspective transformations or deformation on Smart Objects. You must rasterize the smart object first. Let me know if this isn't what is causing your problem.

  • Why the text disappears when I rotate using free transform tool?

    Hello

My text is visible before turning to the vertical position using the free transform tool. But when once it is turned upright the text disappears from the scene. And is not as well animated text? What is the problem?

    Thank you.

you need to incorporate your policy.

  • Opacity and bug free transform

I just Photoshop CS5 and there are two things that annoy me. The first is a problem with Free Transform a dating for Photoshop CS. When I started with Photoshop 7.0 and I have a path and a selection to the screen, I can choose to free transform path, if I selected the tool selection to path, or free transform content selection if I have the tools to move or Marquee selected. But since Photoshop CS came out, it will be ONLY freely transform the way if it's on the screen, no matter what tool is selected. It is very annoying, because I usually use paths as a guide, when I need to free transform something in place. How can [b] I freely turn pixels if a path is on the screen? [/ b]

The second problem seems to be a bug with the shortcuts of the opacity. If for example, I want to reduce the opacity of a layer to 50%, I would insist M, 5. But in Photoshop CS5, I must press M, 5, 5. I have no idea why I need to press two times 5, but she throws me. What is the cause and how to fix it?

    Ah with you now.

With the selection on the screen, click on the move tool. Then check the box 'See the transformation tools' at the top of the screen. After this transformation suite...

    I hope this helps

  • Citing the free transform on the smart object place encompassing top left

I've got something weird going on in PS CC 2015. It runs on a computer Windows 10. I placed a psd file of a company in the active document logo. I shot it, scaled and added some layer styles. Then at some point I had to resize it again, so I called the free transform command, but now the framework encompassing loads in the upper left corner of the document. Any changes to one of the settings in the Panel Options F. T. causes the logo to disappear completely, even if I can go back to the default values. This occurs only after I added a mask to the layer. Without the mask, everything works fine - add the mask, and I get this oddity.

    No idea why?

    Smart Object Bounding Box.jpg

the dynamic linked object should update its content

    window-> properties: update of content

something more I would say... Double-click on the smart object and use the crop inside tool

  • Free transform a placed Image

I use InDesign for Windows 7 CC.

After this last update, I can no longer turn freely no matter what.  When I place an object, only the bounding box is transformed and not the image that it contains.  Before this update I could press CTL T to free transform them both at the same time, but that no longer works.  I tried to look in the menus and shortcuts on my keyboard, but I can't find the option more.  Change something?  Object > transform > scale brings up a popup that I am certainly not.

    Thanks for the help!

E is the default value for the free transform tool. You can replace through keyboard shortcuts > tools

  • Why does the warp tool work in free transformation more

I used to use the warp function all the time with free transform, but now it seems not to do anything. I can select, format choices, but the grid is not displayed on this subject so I can transform into another form.

Have not set something up with the latest version? I don't understand what happened.

What type of layer that you use it on? String won't work with text layers, for example.  Try on a raster layer and come back if it still does not.

  • Unwanted free transform bounding box.

Working in a multi layers document as I click on an object (to get to correct the layer to allow me to change it).  and use the move tool to move the object. It is a fairly basic operation, I get a free transform bounding around the object requires me to do a transformation. He ceases to me cold. If I click outside of the box of boundng get a dialogue-Do you want to apply the nymph? move the object - I click on say the probe tool to get "not trapped" and I get (want to appy transformation.) I have no idea how to solve this BTW is in Photoshop >

    Hi joancqx,

You must uncheck the "Show transform controls" checkbox in the options bar.

    Kind regards
