  There is no free updates for all Windows XP operating systems.

  Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.

  After a drive failure, I had to reinstall the system. I can not activate the LR4.4.1 I don't have a product key. I bought initially LR3, but due to the proximity of the exit of the LR4, I was eligible for a free upgrade. The final version running on my PC has been LR4.4.1. I am able to install and activate LR3 (.6) but not when I tried to upgrade to LR4 I'm invited to a new product key.

  All upgrades are installed full, there is no upgrade of the piece part.  It is probably the case that you have received a different serial number to go with the upgrade.

  When you go through the activation process in Win7, choose the telephone option.  Usually, they will provide an activation key in time.

  You may need to do a reinstall of Win7 in order to get the correct drivers.
