french vs English (compatibility and the question of the license)

Hello

We have an employee with a version French After Effects. This software is provided with Adobe Production Premium CS6.

If he wants to change the sequences available on Internet: it does not work if it downloads the files produced with an English version. The English properties are not recognized by the French of After Effects version. With a recipe I guess he found on the Internet there is a way to delete / move the French language files to run After Effects in English. Start the program in English, but requires a registration key. Curiously, the key to the French version is not allowed. A key should operate independently of the language, as most of the software do not?

Our questions:

1. how to switch from one language to one another After Effects.

2. How can you have after effects French side by side with the English version on the same computer. Of course without having to buy a second license...

3 - is the latest in the cloud (CC) will have the same problems of locale?

Thanks in advance for your answers!

A key should operate independently of the language, as most of the software do not?

No, it isn't. Adobe licenses were always the specific language. Free choice of languages is never possible for CC also answer your question n3.

How can we have after effects French side by side with the English version on the same computer.

You do not have. Never only one language can be active / installed. It's no different in CC even - we must always change language and perhaps reinstall programs in different versions.

Fortunately for you, however, AE has this little trick: put a file in your My Documents folder and call it ae_force_english.txt as long as the file exist, no matter what version of AE will launch in English, give or take specific issues with localized resources.

  • Browsers compatibility and the flash plugin

    Hello

I create courses with captivate 4 and cela my question:

How Kown what types of browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) the final file (HTML with embeded SFW) is compatible?

If compatibility is only for one or two of these browsers, how to get compatible HTML of Captivate file for all browsers. Can I put a sentence in code for all the browsers on the HTML with Dreamweaver.

I wish that compatibility would be for IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

    Christophe GONZALEZ

When you use Captivate to create your e-learning content you generally need not add the code anywhere because Captivate creates the JavaScript files, the SWF file and the HTM file each time you post.

All you need to do is copy these files on your web server and provide a hyperlink somewhere (maybe on a web page) to each module in your course.  Hyperlinks should point to the HTM file for each module.

Usually, that's all you need to do.  She also pays check on which browsers and versions of Flash Player will be your end users.  If you think that they can not all be on Flash Player 10, you can decide chips to Flash Player 9 just to be on the safe side.

  • Compatibility and the full version number of 10gR 3 OID

I'm a bit confused about the compatibility and version of the OID. Can anyone help?
SiteMinder r12 is compatible with the OID 10 gR 3 according to the Siteminder compatibility matrix.
When I try to find the version number of OID and in turn its compatibility with the operating system and database, I find it difficult to understand what version I should look for when I want to use OID 10 gR 3 (for example, it is 10.1.4.0.1 or 10.1.4.1 10.1.4.2 etc.)
There is no clear documentation provides this information. One of the documents (www.oracle.com/technology/.../internet_directory_wp_10gr3.pdf), it seems that 10.1.4.2
However when I goto download site there only 10.1.4.0.1.
In addition, according to the certification matrix OID 10.1.4 it said that it is compatible with OEL5, whereas that after downloading 10.1.4.0.1, it fails to install to complain that there need Red Hat Linux 3 or 4.
    Need help to understand this.

    Thank you

The baseline version is 10.1.4.1.0, all others are patches. Later in 10.1.4.3.0, which can be downloaded via MOS (formerly Metalink).
10G release 3 is marketing speak. 10.1.4.1 thru 10.1.4.3 are all 10 G Release 3 (but different patchlevels. Guess you can talk about OID 10 G release 3 patch 2, when you mean DIO V10.1.4.3.0 - technicians tend to use versions).

  • The disk (with no key) installed Vista Home Premium, and the license key OEM is for... Home Basic!

    I recently did a clean install with the disc that came with my Dell XPS6400 (bought in the auction) local computer, which had only "Vista 32bits" written on it and no product key.  I thought I could use the key on the sticker on the underside of the computer OEM license, even if the 2 characters in the 3rd section were partially missing - they had to be one of the other four.  When OEM license was initially considered valid, I realized that I had not yet downloaded a service pack, but after that, he was still to come as being invalid!  Then, I found that the version of Vista that was on the disc was "Home Premium" and the OEM for "Home Basic" license key  Do I have to reinstall the whole system, drivers, etc., in order to establish the upgrade?  (Please say "NO", there is an easier way to do this!    Here's the MGADiag. -I hope it helps.  :-}

The product key on the bottom will work for what he says he is, Windows Home Basic Edition.

Reinstall the correct Systyem, Windows Home Edition basic operation to use this product key.

And Microsoft sells more than Vista.

To reinstall Vista Home Basic read this information.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought, not that one 32-bit, vista, your computer must be on the hard drive to reinstall recovery Partition Vista to how you bought your computer, which may or may not work after the installation of the wrong edition.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

I gave my wife my laser HP P1000 printer but it cannot operate with its HP Pavilion DM1laptop.   The laptop knew it was a P1000, but did not recognize that it is a printer.   How to make this work?

My wife is still in London, so we have not yet had the opportunity to test the printer connects properly or not.   I will certainly give the 'thumbs up' if that's the case, don't worry.

  • Reuse of rolling stock and the license of YouTube

    Hello Adobe community!

For one of my clients, I create a video using the video of stock.adobe.com stock only. Given that the customer is faced with the overall price of the necessary film, it would be a real advantage if images could be reused in several, video-separate projects by the customer even in the near future. I discovered that I have to re-license the material for each of our clients (this really makes sense) - but what happens if a customer wants to use it several times?

Also; the client company wants to buy the material by themselves, because I can't have their fees taxes they could get reimbursed by the tax administration. Y at - it no special permit required for publication on YouTube? Reading of license agreements, that I did, is one thing - but they have not really answered my questions, and it would be useful to have these questions answered clearly before I help the company buy the images.

Thanks in advance and best regards!

Your customer which allows images/videos can reuse the assets for their own use. Just like the images that can be used in many web applications and print different as long as it's for the same licensee.

You might not allow and use it for several customers, but your customer may authorize and use it for multiple projects, as long as the project is for their own business.

I agree to licensing info and FAQ is pretty poorly made what specific information (use of real life).

Is there anyway to find out what is my COST and anyway to make my own record of what is already installed?  Or maybe get a CD-ROM of replacement directly from Microsoft without having to buy a whole new product since this is activated and genuine.

    Thanks for any help.

If you do not have a Windows 7 disc to the seller, you have really even a valid license of Windows 7 at first.  A valid license of Windows 7 includes documented product key, original installation DVD and the license agreement wrote.  The "song and dance" the seller "lose the drive" everything is wrong in itself.  If the seller cannot provide a disc of Windows 7 genuine, real, the license is not valid because as a result of an incorrect license transfer has occurred.  The only media that can replace Microsoft are "retail" and not "OEM" meida.  See: How to replace Microsoft software Carey Frisch

This error indicates usually that one of the following problems:

    • You are not connected to Creative CC Cloud Desktop App and/or Adobe site with the same Adobe ID modules.
    • More than one user is logged in your Adobe software on your computer using an Adobe ID different from yourself, or indeed you have more than one Adobe ID that you used to connect to and the license file is damaged.

  • Transfer the license from one computer to another Lightroom supported?

    Hello

I have an old computer at home that I use to develop my photos. I bought the Lightroom license and now before I install, I want to know if this copy can be reinstalled and the license transferred to a new machine when I update my machine.

In addition, the number of computers can legally install the product?

    Raja

Yes. A single license of Lightroom allows you to install the program on two separate computers, Windows or Mac or both, but that a facility can be used at any time. If you buy a new computer, you can simply uninstall the program from your computer and install it in the new without violating the license agreement.

  • Has anyone else tried to get the English version of Windows 7 ISO of the MS download site? I have a valid key and the website let me only to get the Korean or French version

Has anyone else tried to get the English version of Windows 7 ISO of the MS download site?  I have a valid key and the website let me only to get the Korean or French version.  English useful MS tech 'UN' told me that the English version is no longer supported and should I install one of these versions and then download the language package and install it.  Has anyone else been in this position?  It was a horrible experience with the online chat with technical support.

    Marcus,

Some people have persevered with contact support via the link on the MS download site and have finally received the download links temporary for an English version.  [You will find these discussions if you looking for the Korean forum as most people in your situation included that word in their title of the question.  I don't remember one of these threads containing any additional info that would be of no use to you.]

If that does not appeal to you & you still cannot find your original installation disks, then buy a disc-relocation

    1. Amazon now stock reinstallation DVD for just a quid [the link is for their UK site site American stocks also to them].
    2. These seem to be exactly what they claim they do not have a product key and that they are specifically described as being for reassembly only - in other words, they are not an attempt to distribute pirated Windows.
    3. You must use your own product key for activation.
    4. Make sure order you Windows 7 edition {Home Premium etc.} that is identified on your certificate of authenticity [the label that contains your product key].
    5. Some of the sellers provide 32 bit and 64 bit DVD, while others provide one or the other.  So make sure you order the right kind.
    6. These discs can do everything what a system repair disc can do, so you'll not need to make a separately.
