• EA4500 - Remote FTP does not work

  O read lots of itens of the same subject, but I have not found a solution. I bought an EA4500 wireless router. I plugged a 1Gig HD using the usb storage port and I activate the FTP service to access my files. Using the local network works fine, but now...   I found the solution! The main problem is that my internet service provider does not allow port 21... and 8080... and 443. So first, I changed the FTP port 8085 in wireless router.

  The second thing is that I need to create a rule to share: click on "Access to records", after that, click the user that you want to use... click on share... and create a new rule, as "share all folders."  That click on apply.

  The EU option is always required, at least on Windows in Dreamweaver.  Since I am on a Windows machine, I can't speak for CyberDuck.  Sometimes, when I'm in trouble, I use Filezilla client (FileZilla - Client Download).  It is available for Mac, so maybe it's an option to get around the problem of parameters you mentioned.  Also, try to open a support ticket with BC.

  I have a few domains and hosting with Godaddy. I wish that each area to have their own usernamd and the password for the ftp files. When I use my main user name and the password for the hosting account all the files load on the server end. When I use the usernamd and the password I set up specifically for this area, it does not load upward. I know that the usernamd and the password are correct, because they work when I test them on ftp.mydomain.com.

  

  If anyone has had this problem and can help me with this?

  Since it is the root directory, leave the host directory field off the coast of kikis and see what happens. That's what I was doing.

  I am trying to connect to beehiveonline via filezilla. FileZilla is able to communicate with the ftp server. but it fails with an error finally. The log messages are given below.

  Raja,

  There are other customers - including a Java program I wrote which can connect to the system - the questions seems to be a combination of libraries and the configuration of the FTP installation on beehiveonline. Us will move it in a new data center soon and the config can change and support fileZilla - ftp.oracle.com works. In the meantime, we are at the mercy of the free offers.

  My ReadyNAS Duo very gently used gives me trouble. I have disabled FTP some time that NAS was in a public place, and now it's that I brought home with me, I need FTP access for the storage of some. I have re-enabled in RAIDar interface, but it just says: "error starting FTP. There is no log file that indicates problems. messages and syslog are clean.

  Is it possible to start it manually using the command line? Is there a way to get debug out of it?

  I used all the options I can put user interface, and none work. I do no port forwarding or whatever it is, it's just on my local network and completely vanilla.

  I restarted earlier in the day and it made no difference. There were errors on tcp/bind, but I had no idea what caused the port to be busy. So I updated the firmware and restarted and when he returned to the top, it worked.

  Server remote root directory must be specified in the definition of your Site.

  Site > new Site or manage Sites...

  The directory may be public_html or www or htdocs or something else.  If in doubt, ask your hosting provider.

• FTP does not connect with the upgrade to 8.02

  I have IE7 installed (Firefox is still better) so I just upgraded to 8.02 Dreamweaver so it would save my FTP log in settings. Now, it connects to my server at all. I was better before the upgrade. Any ideas?

  My firewall, ZoneAlarm, was leaving for the installation of the version 8.0.2 and I couldn't ftp with DW but I could easily connect via my browser. I am back ZA and ftp in DW8 has worked well. No matter what. Just another example of insolent computers!

• Customer FTP works does not in Windows 7

  I am completely confused at this point.

  Any FTP client I use, I can not connect to any FTP site.

  I checked that there is no limitation on my router, and I called my ISP to confirm.

  I have my firewall Windows completely shut down and restarted my computer with my Panda Antivirus disabled.

  Connect to any FTP or SFTP site gives me the following error:

  Connection has expired.

  First of all, this problem has occurred by using FileZilla, which is the program that I have used in the past to connect through sftp on my site.

  I run The Network Setup Wizard and left my FTP connection in passive and he told me that I had an incorrect external IP address.

  I went back in and put my FTP connection as Active and this allowed me to connect, but at the very last stage, it hangs and then reports Connection timed out.

  -I can't share the whole disc and see the files with windows Explorer

  -J 'have a lot of files in a folder of 2' 500 and 1000 only appear in windows Explorer!

  I use windows XP, FileZilla Client and the latest version of each driver or program. I tried to format the drive (NTFS btw), restart the router, restore the default settings (with the web admin button). ...

  It seems I have to wait a few months to use the router as advertised! It's a scandal!

  OK, finally I got it back working again:

  -format the HD and giving him a short name ("external")

  -Reset by webUI

  -flash

  -new reset by webUI

  -new configures the router

  I managed to share the same directory ftp and external drive, which is the directory root named "external".

  As expected, the speed is still poor, and some bugs are still new: in a dir I have 2000 + files in the windows Explorer that they are not all shown (about 1000).

  This router is my biggest disappoinement in the material ever.

  This is the folder on the FTP server where your Web site files should be downloaded. For some hosts, it may be empty. Other common examples are public_html, www, and httpdocs. It is also referred to as site root Web or the host directory.

• The FTP passwords not retained.  Business catalyst widget doesn't work does not correctly

  I use OS X 10.10.3, Dreamweaver 2014.1.1 Build 6982.

  I am unable to connect to my remote server through catalyst for the company.  He tells me that my credentials are incorrect and check the settings.

  For some reason any my site tries to recharge completely every time I do an FTP transfer.  Since my site has about 1,000 static images which are used to search only the FTP process can take up to two hours where it should take a few minutes.  It's like the Muse does not compare the images to see if they have changed and need download.

  (1) when there is an update of Muse, the generation of code changes (for new features, bug fixes, workarounds for bugs in the updates of the browser, performance improvements, etc.). Files of a Web site are linked together, that is why most of the records is regenerated and re downloaded, because most will have been changed due to the change of code generation.

  (2) for the 2014.3 update the compression of the image has been improved (especially for PNG images). This is why the images of your site are likely to have changed (to now be in smaller files and so more fast loading time of a page for visitors to the site) as a result of the update. So they're all being downloaded.

  Once you have downloaded with a version specific muse and saved your following to .muse file download, later additions should be that for all the files affected by any changes have been made since the previous download.
