  Having a problem displaying my HTML file in my local browsers, Firefox and IE.  Am not a user of Chrome.

  I click the "Preview in browser" blue globe and get the following error message:

  An FTP error occurred - cannot open file server/servername /.

  Access denied.  The file exists may not, or there could be a permission problem.

  Then the two browsers show 404 errors.

  Recently, I tried to set up a new server in DW with info provided by my ISP and who doesn't, it gives the same error, but I'm surprised to see that I can not even made in my local browser.  DW seems to be looking on the remote server, not the local browser.

  Your Site definition is messed up. I'm guessing that you have defined a Local test server when you shouldn't have.

  Local test servers are for developers who work with PHP files locally.  In addition, you don't need for static HTML files.

  For stable local and preview, you do not need a test server.

  To test remotely, download files to a TEST folder on your remote server.

  For days now, I have tried every index in the book simply download a page Web of DW CC. I get this error no matter what I do. I asked the server administrator to check.   There are two different questions:

  1. Dreamweaver cannot connect to your site by FTP, but may of FileZilla.
  2. Uploaded by FileZilla pages are not displayed.

  Assuming that the files downloaded by FileZilla are correct root folder, the second question is the result of your being not properly propagated via DNS servers domain name. It could also have an impact on the first question (Dreamweaver cannot connect because it can't find the correct server).

  You should contact your hosting and Network Solutions company (where you have registered the domain name) to ensure that the correct name servers have increased to oyafilm.com. Until this issue is resolved, it is impossible to untangle why Dreamweaver cannot connect.

  I tried to do with the old stuff (1) Site > Manage Sites > export to create an .ste file (2) completely, restart the management of Sites (3) > import the .ste file (4) click on connect to the remote server - But that made no difference

  The two sites are hosted by the same company does not mean that they are on the same physical server.  Your connection problem may be due to many things.

  • Username and password may have changed or been reset.
  • Server permissions problems (GoDaddy is known for this).
  • IP blocking.
  • Server is down.
  • etc...

  Are you able to connect with an FTP 3rd party like FileZilla client?  If this isn't the case, I guess it's a server problem & you will need to contact your host.

  I have a hosting account with Godaddy, I contact Godaddy and talked to a representative and told them that the error I get. A rep trouble shoot the problem with all of its resources in Godaddy, it also help with my problem of Dreamweaver, together, we couldn't solve the problem. All my creditential is correct, but the message keep error display.

  Root directory varies depending on your hosting plan. Hosting GoDaddy Linux uses (C - a)/public_html.

  Accommodation Web & classic uses a forward slash /.  If in doubt, check with your host.

  Dreamweaver connects successfully to the server FTP and jpg maybe 5 to 10 files and then stops with this error: (download immediately after PUTS a little more up then stops with error again):

  Dreamweaver cannot connect to the host. This may be due to one or more of the following reasons:

  -The network cable is disconnected or the network is down. Check that the network cable is connected and that the network is in place.

  -The FTP server is down. Please verify that you can connect to the FTP server using another FTP program.

  -The FTP host name is incorrect. Please check that the host name matches the Site definition dialog box.

  -Access to the server requires proxy which are not properly defined settings. Verify that the proxy settings in the category of the Site of the Preferences dialog box are set correctly and the option to use a Proxy in the Site definition dialog box is enabled.

  -You may be able to connect to the server by using a different port than the one provided. Please specify the correct port in the box provided.

  -Temporarily disable Windows Firewall

  -Checking / unchecking a passive mode and other settings in Dreamweaver > site > server

  Thanks for the suggestions, but they made no difference. Still unable to get the command Dreamweaver Put still works. I tried the command synchronize and that works OK, so who will use instead.

  Please check your FTP settings in Lightroom.

  Are you able to connect and download using another FTP Client?

  Also try the steps below: -.

  1. from the Web in Lightroom module, click export instead of loading.

  2. save the Gallery to a location that you can find easily (like your desktop).

  3. manually copy the Gallery of his location to save to your FTP server.

  It is incompatible with the Sierra of HP scanning.

  Applications > file HP travel HP Scan to the trash, then empty the trash.

  Download and install HP Easy Scan instead, it will be installed in the Applications folder:

  Windows 7, Photoshop CS6 (standalone - no CC)

  I downloaded using my laptop and recorded (AdobeWatermark_2_2_3.zxp) in my downloads folder on my desktop.

  I try to install the add-on on my desktop

  * I have connected to my Adobe account

  * I see that the add-on is 'acquired '.

  * If I press 'install' - nothing appears in Photoshop > Windows > extensions

  * I tried to remove and reinstall

  * I saved this file in my folder "downloads"... AdobeWatermark_2_2_3.zxp

  * If I try to install this "Adobe Extension Manager cs6", I get the error message "an unexpected error occurred while trying to verify this extension."

  You must use the CS6 extensions Manager to install this add-on. The latest version is 6.0.8.28.

I tried the 'FTP access check' on the server FTP Test Adobe and got the same result. I can only assume that I have inadvertently changed some setting somewhere. No idea how I could find the flaw?

  I go back to Yahoo and checked all the connection details. I went back to scratch, changes of passwords and created a new connection and everything seems to work properly.

  CC for flash doesn't support AS2, so perhaps that is the reason.  CS6 (or earlier version) supports AS2.
