• How to find the full model including the exitensions name.

  I'm trying to get a laptop with the ability to upgrade the screen, I struggle to find the models that can be upgraded to a higher resolution that retailers don't disclose extensions, it's really a pain and a need a lot of work from the user, is there any where I can find these? I've highlighted in my snip I'm looking.

  Hi my laptop is dv6 and OS win7

  Off my laptop (the little yellow icon with exclamation point was beside the close option. I thought that it meant that he would install updates, I go over it to see what he did. After I clicked on it I just leave. so I didn't know if it went through updates while closing or something else)

  Now whenever I tried the commissioning, it hangs just at the start of windows logo screen.
  I tried the system restore and startup repair, but they did not help.

  After googleing the mistakes I thought I need to replace the hard drive.
  I wonder if it's really the hard drive not because I was able to access the mode of security very well.

  The two error codes indicate that the HARD disk is a failure - the reason why it is often possible to start safe mode is due to training under less load (in terms of reads/writes) when Windows is running in mode.

  If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disk replaced - you can check the status of your warranty here.

  Hello, I bought a laptop HP around a year ago and I'm looking to sell it on eBay. I need the model number, but it seems to have been rubbed off from underneath the laptop. I'm looking for what is the model number? I looked outside the box and paperwork, but nothing seems to get. Also I can't find the laptop anywhere on the internet I found abit strange.   Shut down the laptop (if you're running Windows 8, hold down the SHIFT key and click on shut down).

  Tap on the ESC key as soon as you turn to go to the Start Menu.

• Data model & form

  If I followed the tutorial at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/livecycle/articles/livecycle_forms_iphone_03.html (I don't want the iPhone, I want to create a form based on a data model) I can get the data model in my form.

  When I bring the data model (from the view of 'data') in a form I get either a form field not when I preview the pdf (I can't write anything in the field) if I bring in a single property or, if I'm bringing in the full model, all fields are invisible in the preview of the pdf discovers (as if the subform that contains the fields is invisible).

  Am I suppose to have some thing more then LiveCycle ES2 to use the data model (I see some references to the server of LCD screens)? Is there something missing in the tutorial above that could explain my problem?

  P.S.: I use LiveCycle ES2.

  The data model tool must be used with form Guides. The form Guide is a Flash application that is derived from the model. Once the data has been collected in the application, it can be merged on a non-interactive PDF template (for archiving or a record of the transaction). You can create interactive PDFs at this time of a model. If you want an interactive PDF, then a drawing or sample xml data file is the best route to go.

• Pavilion dv8: problem with Pavilion dv8 (treble/bass control) Windows 10

  I had my Pavilion dv8 for awhile.  I started having problems with the slider treble/bass control. He would sporadically pop-up and begin to change the treble or bass at irregular intervals. He also unplug randomly my wireless connection. I tried to solve the problem by downloading a driver, but the problem remains. At first, it was just a little annoying, fixed by clicking the mouse or pressing the upper button of the internet, but now it of REALLY boring, popping up even as I write this post. But there is no driver for Windows 10. Someone at - it solutions?

• Hall 20: I can't do a system restore to overcome the refusal of the system to accept the password.

  I did a restore to factory on the Pavilion 20. Pressing me F11 has troubleshooting screen and I chose the system restore. All right

  I set up the UserName Admin and the password carefully (but don't think to do a password recovery disk).  I installed a different AntiVirus Norton application, a default value.  So I uninstalled Norton.  It required a reboot to complete uninstallation.

  This is where my problems started.

  Upon restart, the computer will not accept the password!  There is no mistake here.  It was carefully designed and entered in the creation of duing twice.  I even considered perhaps that I soon take my finger on the SHIFT key (twice) then tried many variations of SHIFT or no change for the capitals and even the next character in the password.  I restarted 50 times trying to get just one time and then I would like to choose a new password for connection.
  
  For the next, I thought I could just do a restore of the system from zero and re - configure again.  But now there is no option for me to use the system recovery.  This option is missing!  I spent many hours on searches of google for similar problems.  It's just not there.  I tried to use F10 and F11 to enter the system recovery.  I get to the menu troubleshooting and it has 3 options: Refresh uoir PC, reset your PC options and advanced.
  Clicking on advanced options gives me the system restore (a restore point (doesn't) usung) System Image recovery, startup repair, command prompt and UEFI firmware settings.
  
  I'm positn gthis in the hope that I can do a system recovery to the command prompt.  Is this possible?  If this is not the case, how can I do a system restore when the OPtion is not avaiiable?

  It will display the number of full model of the computer.

  I don't know what happened on your system but when you do the reset of the system, don't go not advanced.

  You should be able to click on reset your PC. That will erase the C: partition and reinstall Windows.

  

  When its finished, and you get to the part where it asks you to create a password for the user, LEAVE BLANK.

  Restart to make sure you can connect without using a password.

  IF you succeed at this stage, create your HP Recovery Media via the HP Support Assistant.

  If you enter an impasse once again, recovery media will wipe the drive and reinstall everything, including the recovery partition.

  NOTE: HP will allow you to record only one copy of the recovery media, so not to interrupt the process when you start.

  Now remove Norton and restart.

  Install this that never new you want security.

  When you're done, go to your user profile and carefully create your word password but do not close yet.

  Create the key to reset password on a USB key.

  Now restart and test your password.

  You have a USB reset if it doesn't.

  If you are not able, or do not succeed to reset the PC, you have two options. Use the MS media creation tool to create recovery media (from another computer).

  Then, reinstall Windows 8.1 and download your HP drivers and install them.

  Or

  Order directly the appropriate recovery of the HP Support media.

  Choose the country you are. Choose Help, then to the House.
  Enter the full product number and follow the prompts to contact Support.

  Chat with an agent will ensure that you get the appropriate recovery media.

• Pavilion dv6: graphic driver problems

  I recently updated my graphics drivers on the AMD website, which I did not know that at the time, did not fully support the laptop itself. After having done that, I had a problem with playback of videos where in certain circumstances the video would be black but audio would play again. I tried to uninstall the graphics driver that seems to resolve the video issue, but then none of my games would launch at all. Is there a way that I can return the graphic drivers for the basic version where I had not either of these issues?

  See if works by running system restore.

  Select a restore point created before you tried to update the graphics driver from AMD.

  If you are not familiar with how it works, please see the info on the link below.

  If this does not work, reinstall the switchable graphics from AMD/Intel support page driver and the driver of your laptop.

  It does not resemble Satellite M200 would be a European model for laptop. Looks like it came out for the Asian market.

• Upgrading RAM on toshiba satellite pro l650

  I presume that there is compatibility problem. Best thing you can do is to use two identical RAM modules.
  Can you please put name of full model of your laptop so that we can check what RAM modules are 100% compatible.

  I have a L20 Pro Satellite I bought many, many years ago. Many years ago, I don't remember when I bought it.

  I have not used for some time or the other. The vehicle is currently Windows XP installed and I decided to upgrade to Windows 7. I run Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, and he threw up obstacles to my upgrade. The principal is not enough RAM.

  I am a beginner complete this but willing to give it a go. Can someone walk me through how to increase RAM on this machine that shows that 512 MB and I need at least 1 GB.
