Laptop quick launch mute my computer Pavilion dv6-1050us button does not work properly. He puts the speakers muted, but does not change color.  It's still orange, not mater if your speakers are on or off.   His other (white) State works because it is white to start windows, but then goes to orange and does not change when selected but by selecting the button speaker turn the speakers on and outside as it should.

I've loaded and reinstalled the quick launch driver software (sp46731.exe), but the problem is still there.  The problem is about 2 weeks old.   Have not added any new software that I know.  But computer installs updates as received.

    Hello

First download the audio driver by using the links below and save the installer to your desktop.

    Audio driver - Windows 7

    Audio driver - Windows Vista

Once the download is complete, right-click on the Setup program and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation - ignore the warnings that you can see everything that is an earlier version.  Once the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

    Kind regards

  • Does not print color

First, it started with my HP 6700 (driver ver 2.1) and now I just tried with my HP Envy 7640 (driver ver 2.0) on a 2nd network.

    • It prints color as gray or half-tone scale (don't know what you call it - it's not color).
    • Both printers print test ok colors page from the printer configuration options.
    • Both printers copy ok color documents.
    • Ink colors are in full in two printers (from the printer check ink level option).
    • Only when I try to print color on my computer (tried with both my MacBook Pro and MacBook Air + MacBook Air my wife). I tried printing photos (which is where I first noticed the problem) and Web sites and documents. No color.

I'm under El Capitan 10.11.1 but it started with Yosemite.

I deleted the driver and reinstalled. No resolution of the issue.

I even made a regeneration of permission (just in case). I have all the updates

Thus, it prints but not in color.  Colors print as gray or semitone scale.

A world without color is pretty dull.

    Suggestions welcome ;-)

Hi all! I bought a printer HP Deskjet 2540. I installed using the diskette provided to me and does not print color. I use a Mac version 10.9.4 and I think I need to download a driver updated online, but if not, what can I do to get it printing color? Thank you!

    Hi @patrick_doll

You are able to copy in color? If so, you're probably right about the question has something to do with the software or driver.

If you are unable to copy in color, please use the following document to solve the problem; Printer cannot print black ink or color ink, or prints blank Pages

    If, however, you can copy in color please complete the following steps;

    Reset the printing system

    1. Click on the Apple icon ( ), then click on System Preferences.
  • At startup, updates to Vista is stuck on "Full download 100% - do not turn off your computer". Cannot stop at least stop with button / stop.

    Hello Steve Gardener.

Thanks for your post.  Try to start your computer in Safe Mode.  This allows the update to install without problem?  If so, start your computer in normal mode and a test for features.  Please let us know the results.
