  Help, please.  I downloaded the Blackberry Media Sync on my computer.  I can see my Itunes library, playlists, etc., but I can't select it.   I'm really looking forward to the Mac dedicated rim desktop software. I guess it will probably be using sync services Apple System. If someone knows about it. The reason why I ask, it is that there are many problems with sync services (not reliable etc.). PocketMac tell, when it sync with Entourage I think around sync services goes directly to the Entourage. Missing Sync for BlackBerry uses sync services where syncs Entourage to synchronize services and it does not really (quite messy).

  About a 2 months ago when I would like to connect my (the first storm) blackberry storm to my computer via the USB cable supplied with the phone, I was able to transfer music from my computer (itunes) to the blackberry via Blackberry Media Sync with no problems (open Blackberry Media Sync, connect blackberry to the computer via the USB port and screen Media Sync would change so that I could sync to the blackberry storm music). I didn't even have to install Blackberry Media Sync in December 2009

  But now after I connect my Blackberry Storm to my computer, the screen of Blackberry Media Sync does not change and continues to display "please connect a Blackberry smartphone. I tried these tips I found online:

  1.) several reboots my computer (windows vista)

  2.) update/reinstall Blackberry Media Sync, then by restarting my computer

  3.) reconnection from blackberry to the computer, then open Media Sync

  4.) Open Media Sync first and then connect the blackberry to the computer.

  5.) installation BlackBerry USB and Modem drivers (even if I can't find the USB driver for it under the Universal Serial Bus Controller when I check in the Device Manager when you go to control panel – system and Maintenance – Manager of devices, but I found a v2 COM4 and COM5 RIM virtual serial Port when you select "devices by connection" under display in Device Manager) or are RIM Serial Port virtual v2 COM4 and COM5 drivers I'm looking for?

  6.) go to Options (on blackberry) - memory and make sure Media Card Support, Media Transfer Protocol (MTO) and Mass Storage Mode Support are resolved on 'On', the encryption Mode is set to 'None' and mass storage Mode Auto activate when connected, it the value "Prompt" although I tried to 'Yes' as well. It says I have 785 MB of memory space of the unit out of 879 MB total memory of the device and 7.1 GB of free space on a total of 7.3 GB of Media Card Media Card.

  None of the above tips and troubleshooting tips worked. I also checked the Blackberry technical solution center but I've not found anything there that has contributed to the other. I found discussions forums online, including issues of people with 'blackberry media sync cannot connect to the device' pop up, but I have not had this pop-up. The Media Sync screen remains just the same as if I never connected the blackberry storm to my computer in the first place even if my blackberry storm recharges via the computer.

  Too bad. I went to a Verizon store and they me remove the battery and turn the blackberry. Worked like a charm and I can now use Media Sync.

  Also told me that I need to update the software of the phone blackberry using Blackberry Desktop software (I have version 4 and need to update to 5) and make sure to choose to back up files when you are prompted during the update or you will lose all files, the media and info saved on blackberry.

  Unfortunately, RIM has decided to use an Adaptec, Roxio software product. I found Adaptec to Roxio and serious quality problems to be less than stellar. This is supposed to work or as most of the software, the products are we beta testers so developers can find a way to code this without crashing?

  I tried to restart the computer, insalling and resettlement, MediaSync, Desktop Manager and iTunes. All these actions appear to be ineffectivei n sync music to my curve via Media Sync and I received the same error message. I am able to manually move the music from iTunes on my memory card in the E: drive. Get help troubleshooting Media Sync would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  Try to reset the App Store:

  Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

  Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

  Then reconnect to the iTunes Store.

  Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

  Hi, I installed Desktop Manager v4.6. in Windows Vista Business edition. When I try to use the Media Manager, he told me that the Blackberry Media Sync is not installed and he asks me if I want to install it. • iTunes asks me to erase and sync with the computer, I have always used

  I have Apple's music service and I did a new playlist on my computer in iTunes. I went to manually transfer the playlist and the option was no longer available, and he said that iCloud music library was on and it does not give me the option to manually add music. I turned iCloud music library off on my iPhone and the option to add manually the music once again appeared in iTunes. When I clicked "Sync Music", he acted as if I've never used this computer to add music and said it would erase all the data and sync with this library.   I use a Macbook Pro. All the software on the phone and the computer is up-to-date.

  If both your device and your library are implemented for Apple music then you don't synchronize with iTunes. Content or playlists added to the library appears on the device and can be listened to or downloaded by Wi - Fi.

  If other users use your logon in the Windows user account, they will have access to your installation of Firefox and have access to your data in sync.

  It is better for each user to have their own user account to logon or have them share a guest account.

  Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

  Since your post I understand that you get an error that your computer is not authorized for items purchased on your iPhone.  As you tried to allow already and know that your computer is allowed, then it seems that you have the content of another Apple ID on your iPhone.  If you have any other Apple ID then please allow your computer so that it be synchronized.
