Funtioncality of Direct3D is not available

I have recently returned to the country, after about 3 years and booted up my desktop PC.  of course, updates were needed to play games and others.  However, after that I updated my drivers, I couldn't load any program requiring 3D acceleration.  When I checked DirectX Diagnostic, I got the dreaded "Direct 3d feature is not available.  You should check that the driver is a final version of the hardware manucfacturer. "I use a Sapphire Radeon 9600 Pro (128 MB), and I have the latest drivers for my chipset/MoBo drivers that Ali and directX.  I even updated my Bios!  I contacted AMD and was only told to update everything.  So yes... now I'm here... Please help!

I can't turn on direct3d that everyting associated driect3D is gray and impossible to be in a hurry.  the only button option is to "test the direct levy.

Have you tried to launch the DirectX diagnostic tests, DXdiag.exe (-R,dxdiag)?  The "DirectX files" tab will show you the status of your files and you can also test the functionality!  If it detects problems, you can runDirectX end-user Runtime Web Installer.  DirectX is integrated with Windows® XP, you can run it in any case to keep it updated , please Vote if you find it useful!  Please, click on Brand or mark as answer if that answered your question!

    I am running XP Professional SP3 on an AMD Athlon 64 5200 + (2 x 2.6 GHz), 3 GB of RAM and a nVidia GeForce 7900 GS. It all ran very well until a couple of days (can "say precisely since I noticed it now).
    It all started when I tried to play "Thief - the metal age" requiring DirectX 7 engine 3D. I never had problems before playing, but this week he suddenly says "no available supported graphics adapter. I've never touched my graphics drivers after the last installed (version 186.something) in the summer 2009 and has not installed all other drivers at all, as games like "Assassins Creed" or "-Thief Deadly Shadows" still work.

    Then I checked the dxdiag, 'View' tab and noticed that the 'DirectDraw' activation button is gray, but the tests went well. Acceleration of the AGE was grayed out as well, but Direct3D was not. Then I ran the test Direct3D. The D3D 7 test abandoned saying "0x8007000e out of Memory» By clicking OK, I continued running the 8 D3D and D3D 9 tests, which ran perfectly.

    First thing I did was clean updated my graphics drivers to the latest version (195.someting?). No change. So I treid reinstall DirectX. No change.
    So I followed this guide: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/191660 - once again all the same.
    Last thing, I've done done a repair of Windows XP installation itself. What can you guess? Right, no change for good at all. Now even the control panel of my sound card is not even working, even after relocation.

    By couriosity to exclude a hardware conflict, I installed Windows on an additional formatted drive, including all the drivers. Guess whether it is or not, but it works! All buttons are available and all tests passed in dxdiag.

    So I'm now looking for a way to fix my computer, because I don't like the idea to reinstall all my software. (I guess there is no way to make it easier to transfer software entries and registry from one facility to the other?)

    Any help is appreciated. I'm getting desperate...

    Hello! Thanks for your reply. I have new clean restart because I've done it before. What I did but was cleanly uninstall any drivers from nVidia, using "Nasty File Remover" as well as my second operating system to also delete protected files (nv4_disp.sys for example) and also manually remove almost all the nVidia somehow mentioned registry entries. Then I reinstalled the first chipset drivers and then graphics drivers - and IT WORKED! =) Then I've also messed around with my sound driver and find an incompatibility between the version of the driver and the version of the control panel (the pilot installation of windows always routing the dmx6fire.sys another folder with (worse) newer drivers than the ones I wanted to install). If this problem has been fixed, too. I'm happy now. :)

  • VMWare SVGA II pilot: not available Direct3D Acceleration

    When I run dxdiag on my virtual Windows XP workstation, it tells me that the Direct3D acceleration is not available.  Hardware acceleration is maximum and dxdiag reports that DirectDraw acceleration is turned on, so I don't understand why the Direct3D is not available.

    In the real world, the graphics card is integrated into my host computer and is a Matrox G200e map.  Tried to ensure that the display drivers for both physical and virtual are up-to-date, and they seem to be their latest versions, so I'm officially stumped.

    The MX440 will work with the version of Windows Workstation 6.5.0 (you will always miss shaders and therefore will not support DirectX 8ish).  It might even work with the Linux version of workstation, but still, you're going to Miss support for shaders.

    I could solve the problem by going to the manufacturing of system site and download the updates I needed. Once I installed all the updates for my video driver, the games worked well.

    So, I built a computer in 2012. This worked well at the time, but I have recently moved house and have had the computer implementation in the study for a while and only put in place the other day. I started and activated windows, I installed DirectX 11 and updated all my drivers. But when I run dxdiag it says that acceleration DirectDraw, Direct3D acceleration and AGP Texture acceleration are not available. I have a Standard VGA graphics adapter and a card Intel(r) HD Graphics 4000 charged, both drivers are fully updated and the VGA is the main driver.

    So I was wondering if there is anyway to solve this problem.

    I solved the problem, that it turns out that I had some drivers AMD requiring an update, now my computer works fine and all the features of DirectX work.

  • DirectX functionality is not available

    Hello.  I'm having a problem with all the games that I try, even if everyone gives me a different error. Things like YouTube, VLC and iTunes seem unaffected.

    I am confidant that DirectX and my video card drivers are up to date. I tried (in safe mode and normally) to uninstall the vid card drivers and reinstall them, as well as using the update of DirectX end-user (who always says that it detects a more up-to-date version).

    I found a lot of references to a key of SoftwareOnly located at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Direct3D\Drivers, but no key does exist for me at this place.

    I am of ideas to do what, short of a full Windows reinstall. I hope that someone has ideas. DXDiag below.

    I suggest you run the DirectX Diagnostics on the computer and check if the DirectDraw, Direct3D, or AGP Texture acceleration is marked not available.

    Open DirectX Diagnostic tool by clicking the Start button, type dxdiag in the Search box, and then press ENTER. Click on the tab view , under DirectX features, check to see whether DirectDraw, Direct3D, or AGP Texture acceleration is marked not available.

    If so, you might consider upgrading your hardware. You may also need to turn on graphics acceleration. Check out the links for more details on the same and check them off below if it helps.

  • The directx features are not available

    Hello, I would like to help with this problem, I'm gamer so this problem if resolve would make me really happy, problems appeared a [not that my graphics card is integrated, because the first is slow], first I get my computer restarts without reason [without getting any blue screen] but when my system recovers, they say, it is a blue screen problem , I sometimes get that my office is not running and other times my explore does not work, but now I tried to see if this question is in my old graphics card but the problem of funds did not produce second [the problem is my office bar white Towers below]

    but with all these problem my games where quickly runs without any problem, but restarting, but now they won't even begin! and I checked the dxdiag and it turns out that the directx features are not available [all of them], but in my old its anything graphics card!   • DirectX (features not available) problem

    I would like to help on my installation of DirectX. Another problem is that I don't have a lot of knowledge about this software so if anyone knows how to this problem, I would really appreciate if you can teach it me step-by-step.

    Now go to the problem, my office uses running very well until I tried to start a few games one that needs directx and other need a card level DX9 (Unity Web Player). The games I run made me a few mistakes and some are worse which operates the same.

    Been trying for a while to use AirDrop on my MacBook Pro (Version OS X El Capitan 10.11.6) and my iPhone 6 s more.

    Just realized today that it might not work because the Bluetooth on the Pro does not work.
