future Flash Video - here.

I'm a big fan of the Flash application. I'm sorry if you find too many irritating wishes. This will be my 2nd and last post on your Board, I tell myself.
I know a college professor, who is a big believer in the future of Flash video... I personally, am looking - ahead of a codex Flash Video possible (codec?) maybe something similar to the technolgies used for uTube... I was looking forward to a 'futuristic' Flash video codec where video could easily fill a typical computer screen. When such technology would grow when, as this would be possible.

The On2VP6 codec is pretty darn good. I don't know how you're going to compress video much more far. Something more feasible to wish is a faster internet by using optical fiber or other technology where the information could disappear from the Web faster. You can do everything with compression. Think of how many pixels on a screen then multiply that times 30 FPS and then add sound to the moving image. Your will does not get much smaller files, so the web needs to get more quickly to manage large file transfers faster.

  • Firefox for windows does not display absolute divs positioned on flash video

    I have a site that has a brightcove video player. About a month or two before I could separate the video of divs so that they would appear on top of the video player, using absolute positioning.

    You can see the drive here:

    lifeminute. TV/VSD/8 + 9 + 10 + 11 + 12 + 34/widget300s

    In Firefox (mac), Chrome (windows), Internet explorer (windows) and Safari (mac) it always display correctly. In Firefox (windows), the video player ignores the index-Z I assign and always place the divs below, except IF I give the div floating a solid background color.

    When I assign the following styles to the div that contains the overlay, I can see the text correctly, but of course the video is blurred.

       background-color: #FFFFFF;
       height: 158px;
       position: absolute;
       top: 4px;
       width: 275px;

    If I remove the entire overlay background color element appears at the back of the battery behind the video again.

    Is this a bug of windows FF or am I just missing something obvious?

  • Flash player is installed, but cannot get a flash video to play

    I use a 64-bit version of vista and I can not get any flash video to play.  It shows that I have flash player installed, but it does not work.  When I click on the adobe link, which fills the video area it says that flash is not supported for 64-bit system.  I did something to my computer yesterday and managed to get the video to play, but he returned to does not after that I disconnected.  Help, please

    Hi Breeyear54,

    Welcome to the responses of Microsoft Windows Vista forums.

    Adobe has not yet a version of Flash for Vista 64-bit.

    It's the Adobe Web site:

    Adobe Flash Player not is not supported for playback in a 64-bit browser. However, you can run Flash Player in a 32-bit browser running on a 64-bit operating system.

    Reason

    Adobe is working on Flash Player support for 64 bit as part of our ongoing commitment to cross-platform Flash Player compatibility. We expect to provide native support for 64-bit platforms in a future version of Flash Player, Flash Player 10 now.

    Solution

    To use Flash Player to view Flash content on a 64-bit system, you must run a 32-bit browser. To run the browser 32-bit to 64-bit machine follow these steps.

    -Click Start > computer > C: drive > Program Files (x 86) > Internet Explorer > iexplore.exe

  • Problems with Flash video streaming in any browser (Windows 8.1)

    Hello.

    Since perhaps the last Chrome update (version 42.0.2311.90 m - I tried versions of 32 and 64-bit) or some 8.1 Windows updates (I don't know for sure), flash videos don't even start to buffer - they play only once the entire content is downloaded (or loaded into the reader of the site). Then, if I try to watch a video from a Flash Player based (like Dailymotion or Vimeo) interface, I have no streaming, and I have to wait a long time, watch a '1% ' or a wheel loading until the full content is available to watch.

    This is the case with all browsers, not just the Chrome (IE and Firefox too). I tried to update flash player (first version, 17,0,0,169 and then tried the beta version, a published April 14, 2015). No difference at all. So, I think that this could be a problem with the drive itself, or with some settings in Windows.

    So, lets go to the facts:

    -Happened all of a sudden no reason apparent - a day he worked, and he was not on the other day.

    -J' have the last version of every browser I use (Chrome, IE and Firefox).

    -My version of Flash Player is, currently, the latest version;
    -J' tried older versions of Flash Player. did not work;
    -This is not the case with HTML5, like Youtube video players, so I think that it is not a codec problem;

    -J' have the latest graphics driver nVidia. And it was happening even before I update the driver (I have a GeForce GTX 770);

    -J' tried to disable hardware acceleration on the Flash settings, nothing happened.

    -J' by default uses the Windows Firewall and defender. Tried to disable the firewall, nothing happened;

    -J' had looked all over the internet for the answer, but I can not find it. I already have all that Adobe troubleshooting pages told to do;

    -My internet connection is fine. It's a fast connection, and it's the wireless. I have several PCs connected to this network and video flash work well with them, that in this specific machine is not;

    -J' tried to uninstall flash player and install it several times with several different versions. Did not work;

    -Tried to disable as different versions of flash player on Chrome, nothing happened.

    The thing is, I can imagine that this might not be only a problem of flash player, but since this is the only problem with plugin, I, I thought you might have the answer.

    Thank you.

    Hello! It has been a while. If I could do the necessary research.
    First of all, thank you Jean-Luc for the answer.

    After the discussion, I discovered that it was not only not set buffer, but sometimes common downloads Flash videos too. Sometimes, I could see the download file only after being completely downloaded. So, at this point, I knew that was no more Flash video problems. Something must have been messing around with my proxy settings.

    I have fresh installed Windows 8.1 again. And I discovered that I had an app running in the background called "hora Buscapé na", which was a program automatically detect the best deals for products to buy here in the Brazil. I finished his task, and thing go back to normal, I guess. I tried to contact their support, but it's a maze to rethink the role of the contact.

    So, I'm sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the help.
    I see many people with the same problem on the internet without answers, so for these people, there could be another application or process of screwing with your proxy servers.

    I use comodo dragon a version of chrome

    I disabled all extensions, no change

    I deselected activate hardware acceleration, no change

    I checked my plugins, there is one for flash player

    Then I tried internet Explorer and the latest version of flash to it, still no change

  • Flash video jumps despite the low CPU usage

    It is a problem of browser independent (in IE and FF) and apply only to the Flash Video (YouTube, for example)-it happens for example with DivX.

    Time to time the video will drop frames. Running beside the video Task Manager, I see that the CPU actually tends to fall in these moments, rather than boost. Well, it comes down to the departure at the time of the loss of images and then upwards slightly above reference for a short period. Use during playback, however, is very small, about 3-4%.

    What I tried:

    Change Windows high-performance power management

    Deactivation of many processes that run in the background

    Deactivation of the possibilities for energy savings in the energy Manager of Lenovo and technology Intel Rapid Storage Technology (though I doubt that this has nothing to do with the HARD drive)

    Hello. I have a similar problem with casual framedrops while watching Youtube videos in point 8.1 of Windows. My processor is a core i5-4440 quad, and I also GMA 4600.

    I think it's a little problem with Flash player multi-threading with quad core CPU. It does not seem to happen when I go in the Manager of tasks and set the affinity for the Flash Player to use only a single core. Try it on your machine and see if it falls still frames.

  • Need advice to make a simple Flash video file. Trying to accomplish two things.

    I have some video files (.avi) that I'm trying to convert a Flash video format. I'm trying to export it to a Flash drive to be in a Powerpoint file. With that, I'm trying to accomplish two objectives:

    1. to have the small clip (15 s, 30 fps) constantly loop, like an animated .gif.

    2. allow the user to click on the video and made player slide left/right for ff / rew.

    The video itself is an animation of the turntable. One of our products makes a full 360 degrees turn. By allowing the user to capture and drag, it will simulate turning the model.

    So far, I have already achieved objective 1. I made a new Actionscript 3, any video file (embed flv in swf and play in timeline), and then made the video loop on the timeline. This seems to export properly, and video loop if necessary. The only thing I can't understand is how to "interactive" video and let the user drag left/right.

    For context, I have never used Flash before. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Essentially, it comes down to move the playback cursor in Flash based on the movement of the mouse. It certainly won't be smooth, however, you would need a clock to be responsible for moving your head to read and reverse space compression is very intensive CPU (reverse on the timeline). I would recommend having an upstream release and in advance of the video then you could return them, but if you're new to flash you are already in way over your head.

    Add a new layer and try to add this example script (or Download Source example here, registered in CS5):

    import flash.utils.Timer;

    import flash.events.TimerEvent;

    import flash.events.MouseEvent;

    Make sure that we don't raise this image twice

    If (! stage.hasEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN))

    {

    stop the playhead

    Stop();

    set state (forward? back?)

    var movingForward:Boolean = true;

    var curFrame:int = 1;

    var mouseStartX:int; used later to determine the drag

    detect the click of the mouse and drag to the left or right

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN, onMouseF);

    stage.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP, onMouseF);

    create new timer to control the playback head, start it

    var phTimer:Timer = new Timer (33.0).

    phTimer.addEventListener (TimerEvent.TIMER, movePlayheadF);

    phTimer.start ();

    function to control the playback head

    function movePlayheadF(e:TimerEvent):void

    {

    curFrame += movingForward? 1:-1;

    validate the frame (60 total frames)

    If (curFrame > this.totalFrames) curFrame = 2;

    ElseIf (curFrame< 1)="" curframe="">

    Goto the next image

    this.gotoAndStop (curFrame);

    }

    function that controls the direction variable

    function onMouseF(e:MouseEvent):void

    {

    If (e.type is MouseEvent.MOUSE_DOWN)

    {

    the user began place start touching, record

    mouseStartX = int (stage.mouseX);

    }

    Else if (e.type == MouseEvent.MOUSE_UP)

    {

    user let the mouse go, determine the change in direction (by scanning stype)

    If (stage.mouseX > mouseStartX)

    {

    slipped right, move forward

    movingForward = true;

    trace ("move on now '");

    }

    ElseIf (stage.mouseX<>

    {

    crept to the left, move the rear

    movingForward = false;

    trace ("back up now '");

    }

    }

    }

    }

    It's pretty simple. In the link source of the example above, an object in the timeline (nice ugly red circle) is moving right plus 60 frames and then left on 60 images (120 total). Consider that your film.

    A clock at a speed of 33ms (30 fps). It's where he won't necessarily be too smooth with video. If you wear at 60 fps, then decrease the timer of the half (16.5ms), season to taste. Whenever the timer fires the playhead is moved, either forward or backward.

    For whether she should go forward or backward a simple variable (movingForward) keeps track of the last "swipe". The shot is simply captured when a user touches the screen (mouse/finger), moves in a direction and then leaves upward. If they moved to the left the direction will be reversed. If they moved to the right, it will move forward. This does not include nor this logic, but illustrates how you can watch the mouse for movement and 'do something' on this basis.

    A very simple validatior in the event timer function checks if the next image (in both directions) is valid and if it is not the case, it fixes it so that it remains within your length of video editing.

    Note there is a MOUSE_MOVE event you can try to hold on to who can literally let the user drag the video forward and back the amount, they drag their finger/cursor. Also if it is a kind of circular surface as a disc rotates, the direction of the user moving the mouse based on where they registration would change the direction in which they expect to move. Etc etc...

    Who should get your feet wet in how you should consider for your project.

  • I am doing this correctly (Flash video Web design)

    Try to see if I've implemented these flash videos correctly. Basically,.

    1. I create one in Florida file in Flash CC.

    2 import a video, which allows me to choose a flv file already created.

    3. choose a skin for the menu.

    When I test it... all controls work except the maximize button. This of course, prevents me from using it on my site because I have all sizes small enough video, but the user of the options to make it bigger.

    Am I missing something here, or just hurt all together, and that's why the max button does not work.  What are you guys to make it works correctly for you? I am a novice in Flash CC or any other version.

    PS. I am familiar with html5, but I still not crash from time to time.

    Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Check your publication settings (file > publication settings > html) and make sure that the model drop-down list is "flash only - allow full screen".

    publish, then open the HTML in your web browser to test.

  • All Flash videos break - Mac OSX 10.7.3 - Flash 11.2.202.228

    Hello

    I never imagined join me the Adobe's Forum to troubleshoot a response. I combed the FAQ and forums looking for an answer, but I can run. I googled several research Articles and have also developed empy. (I'm a COMPUTER technician with more troublehsooting oriented Windows and Mac of learning fairly quickly)

    I have a Gen 1 MacBook Air that I've ever met - in doing so, I wiped the drive and installed a new copy of the Lion 10.7.3, all software up to date.

    Since I installed flash I didn't experience good watching a single flash video. I also installed Google Chrome and come with the same annoying glitch:

    My videos fine absolutetly buffer (whatever that internet I am logged in). I touched the game and it works for about 5 seconds then pauses... and then I hit the play button and nothing happens. I have to jump with the bar for the video to begin playing again... the same process past repeatidily. Now he plays for 1 or 2 seconds if this and pauses.

    On all my PC at home flash works fine and I can browse youtube without hesitiation, etc.. I also have a MacMini (used as a media server) which he also had a new installation of Lion and runs flash absolutelty fine with the latest version.

    For the life of me I can't understand what is wrong with it. I ran using Adobe Troubleshooting (clean uninstall/reinstall, adjust global settings, deleted all cache, clear history, etc..)

    I'm looking for any idea to fix this problem. The purpose of my acquring this macbook air for purposes of entertainment on my daily commute seems to have without being able to use fully my WiFi hotspot and the macbook air.

    I really don't think it is an unwanted material. It is a 1.6 ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2 GB of memory. I've seen much worse flash with no problems running windows machines. P4 1.5 ghz 512 MB ram... etc.

    Thanks for any help you can provide. If there is a way to download older versions of Flash off here to solve problems, it's something I would like to try but have not met.

    -Michael

    Hi Michael,

    Try to go back to older versions of the player to determine if we have a new bug against 11.2.  I would recommend crossing pure install steps (or at least running the uninstall of stand-alone program), then by installing 11.1.102.63 (unzip and locate the dmg).  After that, run the uninstall program, then return to 10.3.183.18.  Finally, I would also recommend trying beta 11.3 out see if it happens here too.

    Thank you

  • Reading of Flash videos embedded on 32 bit Win7, not on 64 bit Win7, IE9 32-bit

    Hello

    I have two PCs.  One is running 32-bit SP1 of Win7, the other Win 7 SP1 64 bit.  Both have IE9 32 bits and the latest version of Flash 32 bit, 10.3.183.7.  This page http://www.iorr.org/talk/read.php?1, 999739 and other iorr.org have built-in Flash of YouTube videos.  On the 32-bit computer, they play well on the Admin and Standard accounts.  On the 64-bit computer, the embedded videos are no longer visible on the Admin account.  Standard accounts show an empty box with a broken icon symbol where the video should be.  (Note: do not attempt to use IE9 64-bit.)

    I spent a few hours to uninstall and reinstall Flash, trying to see the videos on a Standard on 64-bit PC account.  Nothing works.  Any suggestions?  Note that the normal Flash videos work fine on 64-bit PC Standard accounts.  Only the embedded videos fail.

    This year, I noticed that the 32 bit PC has the control panel of the Flash Player under control panel-> system and security.  The 64-bit PC is not here, but I can manually get him a CPL file in the SysWOW64 folder.  Not sure if this is part of the problem or a different problem.

    Thanks for your time.

    I spent hours and hours on the same problem. My computer has a slightly different configuration. I use Win7 32 bit, but he faced the same problems. Built-in Flash works under Admin account, but not in other accounts. Many off install and reinstall, but nothing seemed to help. Until I found this post from the internet:

    http://superuser.com/questions/244316/embedded-video-is-not-shown-in-Internet-Explorer-9-r c-or-beta

    The solution proposed in this post solved all my problems. Hooray!

    Solution:

    * Open REGEDIT

    * Find the following key:

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT MIME/x-shockwave-flash

    Delete key

    * Re-install flash

    * Problem solved (in my case)

    In the responses to the above link, another solution was given (instead of delete key)

    * Right click on the above key

    Change the access rights and to allow all users read access to the key (didn't check myself)

    In order to secure the solution in this thread, you will find a copy of the info in the link above here:

    ****************************************************************************************** ******************************

    In IE 9 RC or beta version, the embedded video is not displayed in the web page. I checked the security settings in the 'internet options '. Did not find any question. Please find the below screenshot. I am able to view Youtube flash videos. But, for some reason, in some sites the embedded video is not shown.

    I don't have this problem with Firefox.

    UPDATE:
    I am able to see finds the video built into the Admin account. But not able to consult in a Standard account.

    UPDATE:

    Since it works as an administrator, use Process Monitor and filter status on ACCESS DENIED .

    This allows to solve that affects the iexplore.exe process cannot access.

    @TomWij, thanks for the suggestions. Process Monitor indicator helped to nail the issue. When run with standard privileges, it becomes "ACCESS DENIED" to read the key

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\MIME\Database\Content Type\application/x-shockwave-flash.

    When I raised the privilege to the Admin account, it was no problem. Then, I uninstalled flash, deleted the registry key and then installed flash again. Now, I'm able to view the video embedded in standard account.

  • Flash video does not not in the opera, specific to one machine - why?

    ice http://www.eWeek.com/c/a/IT-Management/using-Predictive-Analytics-to-Improve-Customer-serv /? KC = STNL06022011STR7

    Have upgraded to the latest version of Flash (no - AX and AX versions) but I can't get the video at this link to load or display - he is not alone as there are others that won't load or play, but it is not a universal disability because the wobbly combination of machine and browser will play the confirmation Flash animation to Adobe and videos of other correct site site.  At first, I thought, it might be a problem with the limited storage (10 KB) limit in the Flash Player settings, but I changed the two worldwide and 100 KB of the site settings and tried again (without, then with a reboot), but without success.

    This may reflect an underlying BONE problem for this Win XP Pro SP3 machine, because it will not correctly run or view more Flash videos in my favorite browser primary/opera (v11.11 b2109).  However, I can view them on the same machine in FF or IE without any problem and on other machines XP Pro SP3 (or Vista/Win7) to the opera, so so the problem is specific to that one machine and the browser.  I posted a thread on this subject in opera forums, but once I had reduced the issue decided that better post here as well.  This issue started to happen after a previous update of Flash, and I thought that maybe the last update can fix the problem in a complete uninstall (no - AX and AX versions) and restart the computer before installing the new versions out this weekend.  No, so I hope that there will be a few wizard (s) lurking around here who might be able to guide me in diagnosing and fixing problems...  Thanks for the insight and attention in advance.

    Hi, thanks. This extension "noads" most likely is the problem. Try to disable it because it is probably blocking Flash content.

  • How to have opening the web page in the same browser window after redirect in placed in Dreamweaver Flash video?

    Hello

    Would appreciate if someone can help me.

    Web site: www.Paris-Pet.com

    A flash video plays on the index page. The next action is placed in the last frame of the video in Flash:

    navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://www.paris-pet.com/home.html"));

    It does not work as expected with one exception: instead of heading to the home page of the index page when the video is finished, it opens the home page in a second window, leaving empty flash movie browser window. Is not the seamless design, I hoped, and I have also been informed on some computers, blocking of pop-up windows up preventing them transition smoothly to the rest of the web site.

    I would like the redirection to open the home page in the same window of the browser as the film in the index page has played.

    Help, please. Print designer in over his head.

    "_self" specifies the current frame in the current window.
    "_blank" specifies a new window.
    "_parent" specifies the parent of the current image.
    "_top" specifies the top-level frame in the current window.

    navigateToURL (http://www.paris-pet.com/home.html, "_self");

    FYI... it's really a question of actionscript.  If you have more problems, you can ask in the flash forums (you'll more help there than here)

  • Transparent background for Flash video

    I would like to know how to create Flash videos with a transparent background. This allows video to be played on a web page so that the content of the web page shows through the alpha channel of the video. I can edit video in Adobe AfterEffects to generate the file .flv with an alpha channel that can be exported in Flash 8. But when I import into Flash 8 and create the .swf file, Flash provides an opaque background (I chose the color). I want to be able to keep the transparency effect, I created in AfterEffects.

    Here's a URL for the effect I want to achieve:

    http://eimpression.myrealtytools.com

    The video appears rooted at the bottom of the page. It is a very cool effect that I would like to be able to reproduce. I'm guessing that it may require that some actionscript to control the alpha of the background. Any help to understand this would be greatly appreciated.

    to get the transparency effect, actually enter you the .html surrounding using "wmode = transparent" Google this and you should fine a tutorial. Don't forget that when you actually wmode and its value to paste here twice (like all other tags that are already there).
