  • HP TouchSmart G007na 15: upgrading to W10

I recently bought up with installed W8.1. After checking the compatibility, I upgraded to W10. Now I get the error dialog 'accelerometerdll.dll' not found when I connect. I tried Uninstall HP 3D Driveguard get but the same message. I tried version W10 installation of HP 3D driveguard get but the same message. I tried running Revo uninstaller Pro (uninstall force) but get same message (has not used the registry clean option however). Should I go back to W8.1?

Looks like a lot of people have had a similar problem with W10 upgrade but no responses to :-(

Solution: Find a friend with a similar PC and copy accelerometerdll.dll on your PC! Worked for me.

  • Update of the ICS stuck on "database upgrade multimedia"

Anyone else seen this? It is stuck on "Multimedia upgrade database" for about an hour. Is this normal?

We see it occasionally. Pull your SD card - while the upgrade is running - and the upgrade should complete. Then you can reinsert the SD card and you should be fine. It will take time for all media to sync, however.

  • LJ P1102w: HP LJ P1102w installs on the new PC, W10 but still OK on old PC just upgraded to w10!

Buy new PC with pre-installed W10 - refuses to load the drivers - seems to do but message "driver not available" in the settings. Now I took my old PCto W7 that the printer has been connected by USB cable, and upgraded to W10, it connects back to the printer that works fine! Driver concerned is the NPI0D526B. I intend to transfer files and settings from old PC again and mothball the old but without the printer what do I do? Took the floor to support HP in the United Kingdom but unable to help - they describe this printer as "legacy" material even if it is still widely on sale, announced as W10 compliant. My Dell color laser printer installed on both machines W10 on plug & play base.

OK, download the driver and took a few pictures along the way screen.  Let's try the following: first remove the remnants of the plant. Unplug the USB cable from the PC. At this point I suggest you to restart the computer for good measure.  If there are pending updates to install, select "update and restart", otherwise just "Restart."

After restart go devices and printers folder, right-click on the P1100 series (or whatever it's called) and remove the unit.  Then, run the installer - I suggest a right-click on the file and select 'run as administrator '.  This will bring up a video.  Click on the tab "install the printer software.

This will bring up an option to install easy or Advanced Install - Let's choose advanced so that we can have control what happens.

Click Next, accept, next, next, next.  It should appear a box selection of this model of printer you have.  Then select the correct model (series P1100W).  At this point, it should give an option of how you want the printer to connect.  Select USB.

After selecting "Set up in a way to print using USB", click Next.  At this point the guest should come and ask to connect to the printer by USB.

There should be another box indicating that the installer is waiting for the connection.

Connect the USB cable and installation should be completed.  (I don't have a Laserjet P1100 plug so I don't have screenshots apart from that).

If something doesn't work not on the path please reply with details where things are distinguished by the screenshots shown.

  • Language of the system during the upgrade / installation W10

I am a British expat living in the Netherlands.

When I bought this system, I asked the vendor to install W 7 64 bit Pro English, which he did. Shortly after the installation of the system at home, he developed a hardware problem, which means that the supplier had to re - install the system.

However, it has installed the Dutch version of the system. Because I had not the time (or energy), due to illness, so that the English system replaced, I have either. Now, with upgrading to W10, I dearly wish I could install the English language version.

I understand that the upgrade software detects the current language of the system and uses the same language for the installation of the W10.

Is there a way to get around this? Although I understand and speak Dutch, I find the use of the language in the system extremely disturbing and sometimes difficult to decipher.

Looking forward to a positive response.

  • Satellite A300-1RZ - stucks Windows 7 upgrade on the first step of the installation

    Hi all

I'm Italian, I an A300 Satellite with Vista Home Premium I paid 30 euros for the free upgrade to Windows 7, which reached my House yesterday. I got 2 DVD:
-1 to 'prepare' my phone: * TOSHIBA UPGRADE DVD *.
-1 upgrade operating system: * WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM UPGRADE DVD *.

+ The first step: + use the first DVD: all right, "the system is ready to install Windows 7, insert the second dvd. When I insert the other, I accept the license and after that, the first step of the installation: * "check system compatibility."
    * These steps is my problem.*

I reworded more than 10 times the praxis but it blocks at this stage, I left the laptop at this stage, throughout the night, but today morning she was always there, no progress, it is clear that there is a problem, but I do not understand if it depends on my cell phone or on the DVD.

I tried to boot the laptop with Windows 7 DVD inside, start the system by the DVD, but it ask me to format the partition where are the files of vista and is not an upgrade. I bought an upgrade just do not remove previous programs and do not format the first partition of the drive of my laptop.

How do, which can, I turn to?
Does anyone have the same problem?
    Does anyone know to escape?

    thanx 4 your answers

Is there anyone who has had the same problem or can advise me?

Thanks in advance for the help

    Hi Repairlab

You are not alone. I currently have a C50 Sat with exactly the same problem, with the exception of the upgrade. My problem started before I upgraded to 10. Like you, I can start with the battery and using taking current, but which is rubbish for a laptop.
I didn't upgrade the bios but the laptop does not recognize when the battery is connected and the bios update tool continues to ask for it (VERY annoying ToshIba if you already read your forums).
I was trawl through these forums looking for a solution, but there are 0 replies on the vast majority of positions. Not even ToshIba engineers seem to have a presence.

In any case, did you ever solved the problem, and if so can you please share?

    Thank you.
