Original title: sending the game to the taskbar

When I hit ESC and ALT to come ot of my game, temporarily, he goes to the task bar and there it is!

When I type the game in the taskbar (to keep playing) just hangs and I have to go to the Windows Task Manager to remove the game, and then restart the game to play.

The game in question is Resident Evil 4 play with Windows 7.

Search for related errors in the event viewer .

I would like to do the following and check if the problem persists.

Step 1:

I suggest you to change the hardware acceleration and check if it works. (If you have it in your machine)

a. Click Start, type "personalization" in the search box and then in the list click on personalization programs.
b. click on display settings.
c. click on advanced settings.
d. click the Troubleshooting tab, and then click on change settings.
e. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
f. move the notches on both hardware acceleration slider to the left.
g. click OK and then click Restart now.
h. once the computer has restarted, test the game.

Step 2:

Update of your display drivers and check if this may help

Step 3:

If the problem persists, I suggest trying to start clean your machine to get rid of any software third party running in the background.

Note: Follow step 7 to your computer as usual.

In my opinion, you should check the cooling options in Windows power management. Make sure that it s set for maximum Performance. This means that your laptop will be cooled as much as possible.

I put t know how long you have this laptop already but maybe that cleaning is also an option.

Windows 8.1 RT Skype app crashes after sending a file

A friend tried to send me a file. I received a notification on the lockscreen. When I open Skype he went to the window of my friend. I tried to click on the file to receive it, but nothing worked. After a few seconds, Skype has minimized at bottom. I went to my Win 7 and got the file machine. Unfortunately, after that I could not discuss with this firend on my Surface. Whenever I received a msg from him and open Skype I could not answer, and the window is reduced after a few seconds. Application crashes after links compilations on the command line and running on Simulator

Hi all

I have a project where I need to link my static libraries built separately (but using the toolchain/compiler inside the BBNDK) for a sample application QML BB10. I am relatively new to BB10 and its environment.

Although the application compiles and links successfully, the performance of the application is segmenting online

My other static libraries have many references to the C++ Standard Library, such as strings, streams etc. and these are inside libstdc++.a/.so. Also some references to struggling and Expat. And so I assured these library on my road to compile as follows

With this application compiles / links with success but as said previously, it crashes inside createRootObject.

If I don't specify my static library (myStaticLib.a), out of all references to myStaticLib.a in the code and remove the stdc library ++ application goes ahead and the screen correctly.

NOTE: myStaticLib.a is not related to the QT code in any way. I call the method inside myStaticLib after that I booted properly QT and after showing the first screen in the code.

I was able get out the base of the Simulator file and also use it with this gdb on my build machine. Here is the result of the BDG.

It seems to be crashing within libc.so while trying to release something. There is not any change in the QML code at all.

Even if everything seems to be compilations and links correctly, I'm not able to find the reason for this accident.

I don't change all code QML, but if I include my library and stdc ++ it crashes. If I don't get my library and stdc ++ he does not crash and all is well.

Found the problem. For the other library that I was building with the BB10 NDK build tools, I was not using "qcc-Vgcc_ntox86-lang-c ++. I used instead of the ntox86-g ++ under the host directory. And it lacked the required compiler flags that were used internally by qcc.

After changing the compiler, application has compiled, I did not provide libstdc ++ .a for him also, as well as the application has been properly executed well.

I can't even move an object without the app crashing. I uninstalled, deleted all the garbage using CleanMyMac, re-installed with CC plus late 2015 Illustrator and even with a new. File to HAVE it I can't, for example, simply create a rectangle and move the application or it crashes. Could there be some garbage left from my previous installation that is causing the app be unusable?
Thanks for any help. Desperately try to solve this problem. I thought it was old files corrupt but even the new files from the last to install just the crash when I do anything to an object on the canvas.

You reinstall using the way complete three steps (the otherwise strange things may persist)?

(1) uninstall (check the box to delete the preferences),

(2) run the cleanup tool, see the link below,

(3) reinstall.

Earlier, one of them could help in case of crash when you move objects; I wonder if they are outdated or always topical.

The problem may be caused by the extension Chrome Pushbullet, see this post by Matt #3 with solution.

Now every time that I reopen it, it gives the error message and an option to restore or start a new session, but as soon as I click on anything, whether it crashes.

Skype crashes after sending photos

You can't really wreck software on Mac, but you will need to reistall of recovery...

This will install only the system files and leave you the data in place.

If you have a Time Machine backup or a clone you can restore those.

Try to reset the preferences of LR: http://www.lightroomforums.net/showthread.php?25197-Resetting-the-lightroom-preferences-fi le-update . This often solves things when the LR user interface starts acting wonky. (Note that uninstall/reinstall does not remove preferences, including the preferences of older versions, which will reinstall it).

Notification for incoming e-mail icon does not appear in the taskbar background; Customize not "clickable" button to try to fix.

How can I get the Notification icon displayed when I receive emails? It is tedious to have to minimize what I'm working on to see if a customer has responded to a question, etc. The Customize button isn't light type, in other words, able to be activated in the properties after right click on the taskbar background.

2. Right click on it to bring a menu
3. Choose Properties from the menu
4. Go to Notification area tab
5. Click Customize to change the settings for each icon that appears in the notification area
6. Scroll to the bottom for you have new messages and select view
7. Click Ok, apply, OK
Go to WinMail icon and drag in the Quick Launch bar

I checked the properties of the taskbar and found volume and network selections have been disabled. So I rebooted. Now I have the clock and network icons, but no battery icon and I don't always have the sound icon (which was the one I wanted) and these two are disabled in the taskbar properties. Any advice on how to reactivate these icons? I have Vista and I am currently on updates.

Note: Use the method two or three depending on what version of Vista you have.
Whe finished, restart (close and turn it back on).
Now after restarting, go to the taskbar of routine properties and click on these missing icons.
