Games that came on the computer... of Spider solitaire, etc.

... System operating Vista games that came on the computer with the program windows... these games jump, can't pick up cards to move, drop the cards before reached location.  What can I do to fix this problem because it made play very difficult and boring.

After thinking about the answer of Mr. Smithers, I found the solution.  I have a USB mouse... so instead of buying a new mouse, I unplugged the mouse, plugged return it in and instant... change the jump and do not pick up improved maps.  Then I shut down the computer, unplug the mouse, rebotted the computer, plugged the mouse back after all was upward and ready to run on the computer... SUCESS!

Thank you for the help... everything works as good as when it was new.

  • can't activate windows xp with the product key that came with the computer

    I got a computer of 510N HP Pavilion from a friend who was absolutely riddled with viruses and malware of all kinds.  Every thing I did to clarify apparently nowhere got done or made it worse.  At the end of the day, the computer would only begin to restart, stop after the start of the HP logo screen, then start to boot, etc and more.  All I could do was to install the hard drive in another computer and format, from scratch.  Now, I'm trying to install the system to XP op for the disc that came with the computer.
    the problem: the code the product key on the case went wrong with the disc.  After searching for solutions, I found a code on the disk by searching the files it contains, tried and it worked!  Problem is when I try to turn it on, it says it's an "unauthorized product key."  I tried to enter that code on the box and who says he is "invalid".  The Cd look authentic; are for distribution with new pc HP and Compaq.  After a further inspection drives are XP Professional SP2, while if it is XP Home Edition.  What gives?  Activation does not anyway. It is any use that will not make me buy a new set of disks?

    Please let me know if more info or detail is necessary.

    PS - only a single piece of hardware has been changed - the cdrom initially provided with the computer was bad, so I went out to perform the installation.

    When you perform a restore to the factory on some HPs condition you have two choices: 1) a restoration which keeps your data and programs (in a repair installation); (2) a full destructive restore which brings back the machine to the State, it's when you first opened the box. In your case, you have already wiped the drive, so the question is moot. I would call the HP technical support. Normally when you use an OEM recovery media (HP, Dell, etc.) a product key is never required during the restore. If you have used the media to restore HP shipped with your system and are always asked for a key and one on the sticker machine is not accepted, then something is certainly. • Can I move my current operating system that came with the computer on a new hard drive?

    My family got a hp pavilion m7560n some time ago.  Last weekend I heard on that clicking sound from the hard drive I think.  Since then, I only heard once or twice.  All that I know is that clicking may mean the hard drive is defect or on the way that him.   However I don't know if this is the case if the sound starts and stops.

    I want to know if I can format a new hard drive to replace the one provided with the system and always keep the same format as on the system when it was new.  I mean here the operating system and all other programs who came to this topic.  The recovery that are made to work for this computer discs may work on a new drive hard format if it is put in place of the system?

    Or are otherwise free to carry the operating system and other programs on a new hard drive.

    The hard disk provided with the system's 320 GB, I have one that is 500 GB.

    Hi logicman77,

    the recovery discs are meant to be exactly for this purpose.  You can put in a new drive hard (500 GB is fine), and the discs will reinstall XP, as well as all software provided on them.

    The computer will look like it did the day you took it out of the box.  This document will give you details on the implementation of the recovery: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/bph07145

    I think someone changed my MacBook Air charger, is it possible to identify the one supplied with the original computer?, if it has no serial number connected to the computer?, thank you!

    There is no serial number match between the computer and the charger. All MBA models came with a 45W charger and there is no danger in using a higher power charger.

    For some reason, your operating system is unable to properly read the SLIC table in BIOS which allows the OEM_SLP key you use to activate auto
    To resolve this problem, you must change the key for that on your sticker COA - go to system properties page and click on the link here.
    You may need to activate by phone

  • I am trying to backup my drivers on my external hard drive and I don't know how to do it and I've lost my windows disc that came with the computer

    I need to know how to save my drivers on my hard drive or on a disc because I lost the disc to my computer and I want to change my hard drive on my laptop

    You back up your operating system, not your drivers.

    If you have Vista Business or Ultimate:

    How to use the Vista computer backup and restore

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    When you buy a NEW hard drive, the new hard drive manufacturer is normally cloning software available on their website for you to download and do exactly what you want to do.
    Alternatively, use 3rd Party software, you will have to pay for:
    http://www.Acronis.com.au/homecomputing/products/TrueImage/
    Or get a drive for recovery of your computer manufacturer, or borrow a DVD of Vista from Microsoft and reinstall Vista,
    Read the info below:
    How to get Vista recovery Media.
    There is no Vista free download legal available.
    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • If I bought a new internal hard drive, can I transfer windows hard drive fom that came from the computer to the new, or do I have to buy another software package full of windows?

    What should I do to get windows vista on the new hard drive on the old, because I would like to upgrade to windows 7 since vista when I transferred transversely to the new.

    Your license of Vista will be OK to reinstall it on a hard drive replacement on the same computer.

    Hard disk manufacturers provide normally cloning software to do what you want to do.

    Look at your new Hard Drive manufacturer's Web site.

    If these are apps you added and want more, you can use the functionality of your computer factory restore. Unfortunately, this erases the disk and leave you with a double précis of his State when you turned on for the first time.  Then, you would have to do all the updates of Windows and then install all the programs you want.

    Otherwise, use programs uninstaller (from Control Panel) for each application that you do NOT want to uninstall.
