Gasoline and pivot table uses in OBIEE
Hello people,Please help understand what PIVOTTABLE DYNAMIC and CALIBER in OBIEE answers
in what cases or scenario will be used for these things.
and what is the CASE in OBIEE, where it is used and what is its purpose.
Thanks in advance
JMs
The pivot table view is an interactive view which allows you to rotate the lines, columns and headers to get different perspectives of the data section. PivotTables is navigable and percables and is particularly useful for trend reports.
Gauges are useful to show the performance against objectives. Gauge types supported include dial and bar style light bulb gauges.
CASE statement is used for conditions, its use is the case when x = y end doubts... Its similar IF statement in programming.

Hello Experts,
I've shown measures execution of amounts in pivot table problem is when I try to pivotted results graphic I get the original values and not the running sum values. Is there a way to get around this or another way to do?
Thank you
Published by: ZaidN on June 29, 2010 07:20Do the following things.
(1) to restart all services
(2) use the resume function it shows the cumulative graph also
(3) accumulation of usage view on measure it in pivot does ' t shows resume graphic because the sum of runnung dynamically apply in pivot table, but the table takes the column.

I want my PivotTable and create something like below:
I have the table in this format
Objective measure of the output in detail

NVM CSV Some text to the text
F & M VS some text somet
I want it to appear on the page

Goal: A text
Measure: A text
No idea how to do it?
Thanks in advancePivot doesn't seem to be necessary. Create a standard report using one of the by default: vertical report... built-in report templates, or model of attribute value pairs in the current theme.

CFScript to create tables (using MySQL) and configure it to use InnoDB
I use a cfscript to create my database and the tables using MySQL, and I was able to DO this with success, accept that I'm having a problem. I want to put my tables use InnoDB instead of MyISAM. How to do this?
That's what I did:
< cfquery = 'test' datasource name = 'mydatasource' >
CREATE TABLE Test
(
Id int (11) NOT NULL auto_increment,
Name varchar (20) default NULL,
Tinyint (4) active default NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (Id)
); ENGINE = InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET = latin;
< / cfquery >
But when I get an error when I run this script. That's what I get:
-You have an error in your SQL syntax; "check the manual for your version of the MySQL server for the right syntax to use near '; ENGINE = InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET = latin1'.
I look and it's the right syntax. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks for any help
AlfieNevermind, I figured it. I misspelled it.
ENGINE type = InnoDB... must be before the semicolon.

Hi Experts,
I want to know the tables FDM and HFM, through which Exchange rates are charged. I mean the FDM used tables and HFM tables used for the loading of the exchange rate at HFM. and how do I question them databases
Thanks for your help.
All data, same exchange rate, are loaded by FDM tDataSegx tables. Identify the location that you load through exchange rate and will give you the reference to the correct tDataSeg table. On the top of my head, I don't know the HFM table, but why would you want to query these tables directly as you can view the information you need - FDM both HFM in the relevant application forms?

my number of months is the imonth field in the dataset.
my bi datamodel Editor is:
Select posall.iyear as iyear,
posall. CUE as a benchmark,
posall.anicnt as anicnt,
posall.iMonth as imonth,
posall. MONTH to MONTH,
posall.exp as exp
of AnimalControl.Tracking.posall posall
order of cue, iyear, imonth
The closest I could get to this result is the following
I created my pivot table with the columns of iyear
I have a defined lines as a guide, imonth and mnth showing the anicnt.

After trying many different things, it is overall results closest to you, I can get to what I need. If someone could help me please get the line that starts with a certain number of months, I would have the perfect result set. I'm new to BI Publisher and am stuck here. Thanks for your time.

Create a copy of the PivotTable (or a copy of the RTF) you currently have and delete the imonth the pivot column. Then in the new PivotTable for the 'C' field, change the code as follows:
It sorts and then by column imonth but doesnot include the line with the number of the month and related data. If you want, I can send you the model. Provide your e-mail ID.
I used Tim's blog as reference; http://blogs.Oracle.com/XmlPublisher/2010/03/new_skool_crosstabbing.html
Award points if helpful/correct.
Thank you!

Is it possible to insert a table using Windows7 and WordPad?
Original title: Microsoft WordPadIs it possible to insert a table using Windows7 and WordPad?
Very unfortunately, you can not insert a table in WordPad, if you do not have a spreadsheet such as Microsoft Excel or LibreOffice program. If you have one of them installed, click Insert an object into WordPad, and then select Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet or LibreOffice Calc spreadsheet.
But when you send the document to someone, it will also take the spreadsheet where you inserted the object.
Sorry, but WordPad is quite limited and only for basic word processing.

Hi people
How the identity if one table used only by synonyms and not by any other subprogrammes within a schema. I see in the TOAD describe objects tab used by, but I would like to identify hundreds of table so I would like to know if there would be any SQL or Meta Data Tables?

The ALL_DEPENDENCIES view has hierarchical information based on object_id
The view object has the object_type.
Create a hierarchical query on the first view and attach it to the second view.
Or you can use the utldtree.sql file in the installation of the DB admin folder. Comments initially show you how a hierarchical query based on the object type.

How to insert image from mysql into the table using php and create the checkbox in the table?
How can I insert image from mysql into the table using php and create the checkbox for each data as a vote? Here is my code...
WELCOME
If you have saved the file name in the database, it's pretty simple.
echo '';
Is the same for the box:
echo '';
If you have saved the image file in the database, it is much more complicated. I recommend you store only the file name in the database.

Limit the rows in a Pivot table view in dashboard
Hello
I tried the same thing and stuck
Hi all
I have the PivotTable in dashboad, but it shows all the lines. so, to limit to 25 I changed the instanceconfig.xml as
iin mentioned blog

Here's the code for the instanceconfig.xml file
then restarted the Server BI and BI presentation server. But still the report dashboard for the pivot table displays all lines.<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <WebConfig> <ServerInstance> <pivotview> <MaxVisibleColumns>500</MaxVisibleColumns> <MaxVisiblePages>2500</MaxVisiblePages> <MaxVisibleRows>25</MaxVisibleRows> <MaxVisibleSelections>3000</MaxVisibleSelections> </pivotview> <DSN>AnalyticsWeb</DSN> <CatalogPath>C:\OracleBI_Home\OracleBIData\web\catalog\ManufacturingHubAnalyzer</CatalogPath> <Alerts> <ScheduleServer>ORACLE-MOC2</ScheduleServer> </Alerts> <AdvancedReporting> <ReportingEngine>XmlP</ReportingEngine> <Volume>XmlP</Volume> <ServerURL>http://ORACLE-MOC2:9704/xmlpserver/services/XMLPService</ServerURL> <WebURL>http://ORACLE-MOC2:9704/xmlpserver</WebURL> <AdminURL>http://ORACLE-MOC2:9704/xmlpserver/servlet/admin</AdminURL> <AdminCredentialAlias>bipublisheradmin</AdminCredentialAlias> </AdvancedReporting> <JavaHome>C:\oracle\PROD\apps\apps_st\comn\util\jdk</JavaHome> <BIforOfficeURL>client/OracleBIOffice.exe</BIforOfficeURL> <!-- To configure a limited set of languages to be available to users uncomment the <AllowedLanguages> tag below and choose a subset set of language tags from the list. For Timo: Dynamically create pivot table binding
Hi Timo,
Long time ago you have this announcement on a thread:
"The solution for your use a 2013 DOAG case, I presented was to create binding table pivot out user defined attributes in the table."
For the defined attributes, VO is created dynamically and the pivot link.
The pivot link is exchanged during execution as well as the activation of the adequate VO Dynamics to get only the
necessary data for the pivot table in particular.
......
I can't give you a working example because it is too complex. I can make available slides, but they are in German. "
We have the same problem.
Can you please send me this presentation on: email address removed by the moderator - there is no private through this public forum consultation >
I can't find this Presentation on the Internet.
Maybe, if you have some examples of simple work, too.
Kind regards
Diana
Diana, you can get the DOAG2013_DynamicPivotTable_virtual7 blades | JDev & ADF Goodies
The sample is too complex to be made available through my blog.
