  Can someone point me in the right direction on how to change the default gateway on each workspace GOES after deployment?

  If I change in/etc/sysconfig/network/routes in each virtual machine... and save the file, it came back on the next reboot.

  I can add a new route to the same file, which will persist through a reboot, but I really need to change the default gateway.

  Redeployment is not an option, so I hope that everyone WILL pull a config from somewhere I can I change?

  Suggestions fast until I log a support call?

  My riding school just bought a printer LaserJet 500 color M551.  I set up the IP port on our print server and manually entered the IP of the printer settings.  This includes the IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.  However, the default gateway changes itself to the same thing as what I entered IP address as soon as I leave the JetDirect menu on the printer.

  After that, I tried to change through the web browser interface.  So I changed to get a DHCP IP address and browsed to the printer and changed from the manaul IP browser.  After I clicked on save, I could navigate is more to the printer based on the IP address I have affected it.  I went into the menu of the printer to the printer itself and found that the default gateway changes itself again to the IP I assigned to the printer.

  For this reason, the printer is essentially useless, because anyone on the network can be printed on it.  Has anyone about this before?  Is it an easy setting I'm missing?  I am a network administrator and have implemented dozens of printers before and have never encountered this before.  Any input would be appreciated.

  Just an update for anyone who looks at this: when I print configuration, under the IPv4 settings page, it shows an error message indicating the INVALID GATEWAY ADDRESS.  Lower than that, it shows the IP address of the default gateway that I have tried to enter.  It shows then below the IP address of the printer, the subnet mask and the default gateway (it changed to be the same as the IP address).  Here is the subnet and the gateway that I use:

  255.255.0.0

  10.1.1.1

  After seeing this message, I tried to change the subnet mask of 255.0.0.0, and I received is no longer the error message.  However, because I changed the subnet mask, it is not on the same network that the rest of our network, is still essentially useless.  But when I change the settings of DHCP TCP/IP instead of manual, it pulls the subnet mask and the gateway that I entered in the first place (when I get the message to the INVALID GATEWAY ADDRESS).

  I called HP support and they had me erase the disc and reload the firmware, and when she came back to the top the same problems happened.  Its almost as if the printer (or the JetDirect card) is too smart for his own good and does not allow a combination of gateway and the subnet mask that is not a normal combination.  Any ideas out there?

• Gateway authentication

  I have install a gateway siebel on a physical machine. Later, I install a siebel Enterprise (A) and then by installing siebel Enterprise (B) on the same machine.
  Everything works fine for a few months now until I have change the SADMIN siebel Enterprise (B) password. When I tried to access the Discover Server Management and back end, using srvrmgr I could open the configuration of the gateway.
  
  After further investigation, I discovered that regardless of which company the bridge actually uses siebel Enterprise (A) SADMIN account it to connect. This can be repeated when I change company SADMIN (A) password to be the same with the SADMIN (B) company.
  
  The questions are
  (1) is a behaviour whereas access gateway is always based on the first large company installed?
  (2) if not, how can I point the bridge to watch different DB for access.
  
  I hope someone can shine a light in there? If the best can provide metalink IDS.

  1. Yes, the authentication settings are based in the first large company installed.

  2. check the gateway.cfg file in the gtwysrvr/bin folder and ensure that the below settings match the values of the company b. restart the gateway after changes to these settings.

  How can I change the password of weblogic server admin?

  Here are the steps to do:

  (1) - connect to the console of administration WebLogic Server with the existing user id & password.

  (2) - in the tree view of the left hand to safety-online realms-online myrealm =>, click users

  (3) - in hand right pane, click the user for which the password must be changed

  (4) - in the hand right pane, click the general-online password: change

  (5) - enter the new password and retype the same password to confirm.

  (6) - click on apply.

  (7) - stop the administration server.

  (8) - change the server startup script to change the WLS_PW setting for the new password, it will be like:

  WLS_PW = new_password

  (9) - change the gateway.ini located in METASOLV_HOME/servername/appserver/gateway/directory where servername is the name of the server. In gateway.ini change the password under the JDNI tag parameter, it will look like:

  User = admin_user
  Password = new_password
  Factory = WebLogic.JNDI.WLInitialContextFactory

  (10) - restart the management server.

  I am facing problem with my Toshiba Satellite A200 since last week. The problem, I noticed even is mentioned below in steps:

  1. start & freezes on the screen at any time or logon
  2 restart at any time without any notification as blue screen or any message dumping

  Explanation in detail:

  As I start my laptop it can freeze or restart at any moment after the Startup logo. This has happened several times, I noticed. If it freezes, after waiting for half an hour, if it does not, restart any movement of the mouse, no appeal of taskmgr, etc. it completely freezes. Then I made him stop forcing for example, by pressing the power button / stop for a long time.

  * Things to note here: this happens when the power adapter is connected *.

  Same thing repeated here with AC not plugged (on battery), the system works absolutely perfect until that hard battery backup with permitted load on the processor and any diet Plan. Tested also on AC only (battery does not exist) but same results, no resolution.

  As soon as AC is plugged the laptop is ready to freeze or reboot anytime * and the time varies between instant to max 45 minutes I noticed several times.

  Second thing to note is that if I boot in SafeMode it works absolutely fine with & without plugged AC.

  I also cleaned the heatsink fan heat + metal bands filter in front of the FAN to avoid high temperatures, but same results, no resolution.

  * OS Installation costs: *.
  I installed a clean copy of the OS, but no effect not found, same results, no resolution

  * AC adapter power supply check & replacement: *.
  I checked the output of the AC adapter / CC it 19.7V DC no load. I borrowed a new AC adapter with my cousin with the same model, but the same results, no resolution.

  * AC adapter Socket change: *.
  To avoid the bad food, but the same results, no resolution.

  * BIOS: *.
  Settings to change the frequency of the dynamics processor to still weak & 2nd Core Disabled, same results, no resolution.

  After searching a solution on various sites, I tried several ways but without success.

  Finally worked for me is to start in "SafeMode-> Device Manager-> disabled both processors ' & restarted in normal mode, everything works fine.

  * Question: *.
  1 but what is the real fault I want to know who?
  2. How safe to operate with disabled processors?
  3. What is the effect of it on the laptop?
  4. it's the real solution?

  The sounds of history for me really weird I mean disabling processors in Device Manager
  Is this laptop must not freeze and must restart not anytime if that's the case then something must be wrong with the software or hardware.
  Because you installed the OS and the problem is still available, I guess something must be wrong with the material; Perhaps the mother or the CPU itself

  I have a BEFW1154 and Iam tring to hook it to a Telus SE567
  Modem, but have had no luck. I read until I'm confised!
  In my reading I came across a few post (not on this site)
  people having the same trouble.
  Can Q one, be done?
  Q two, it is in the firmware?
  Q three, will be the firmware never updated to take into account the SE567?
  or do I have to upgrade the BEFW1154?

  OK, got that thing to do. It's all in the Siemens software.
  In advanced settings go to the Local network and then go to the customer

  Allocation of addresses.
  Gigaset IP network gateway.
  Change of settings customized to
  Select your range 192.168.254.0 / 255.255.255.0

  I also changed (don't know if this part had nothing to do with the connection) in the advanced settings, local area network, Plug and

  Game, Setup UPnP. I chose, Enable full Internet

  Technical support Gateway Device (IGD).
  In the Options, I left blank.

  Reset the Linksys router and ran the Linksys disk.

  And finely the Siemens allow the Linksys to connect.

  All work fine, except columns that are usually varchar2 are now of type LONG. It is the origin of the issues given the wide range of restrictions of data type long.

  Add these 2 parameters to your gateway init file:
  HS_KEEP_REMOTE_COLUMN_SIZE = LOCAL
  HS_NLS_LENGTH_SEMANTICS = CHAR

  It allows me to describe the nvarchar sunk to the varchar column (4000) in Oracle as varchar2 (4000).

Relatively, the drop-down list on top of the requeteexecution box is also empty. (However, if you click the drop-down list and select right sleeve, the first requeteexecution appear right by running the sequence). Please someone check my code to see my mistakes, thank you.

  I tried to integrate this code and it works very well with a parallel sequence in the example.  Specifically, look at my implementation of 'DisplayExecution event Callback.vi.  I hope that this solves your problem.

  When I run a sequence, its color of frame socket continue in blue.

  

  When I finish a sequence, its color of frame socket turns green momentarily.

  

  I would like to change that color by program from my TestStand sequence. I don't know if it is possible.

  Example: If the sequence is waiting for something, the color should change to Orange.

  I did recently added this feature to my system. I did it by modifying the example in this article in the knowledge base of NOR. I don't know if it's the best way to handle this, but it worked fine for me. I have modified the function as shown below. You simply pass your message and the hexadecimal color you want to use.

  I use TestStand for control of the two USE both. The problem is that I have to change the appearance of the windows of information for each socket. It is difficult for the operator to see which USE (socket) is associated with what message window. I would prefer to use generic text in message boxes; is there a variable that indicates what socket is in effect for this appeal of message so that I can use in the message?

  I would like to have the number of sockets in an INI file, the User Interface would be read the value of the file and set the number of Sockets of Test.  I know that it is possible by adding a callback sequence, ModelOptions, to my files in sequence and by changing the setting.  How would you do it in the UI?

  You might have the user interface to read and edit the reportoptions config file as the process template (see the source code for modelsupport2.dll in \Components\Models\TestStandModels). But why do you need UI to do this? Why not simply substitute the recall of ModelOptions and he do there?
