GE 31591 Skype cordless phones

I can't make calls to phone numbers all of a sudden. I bought yesterday. He said: I do not have Skype out credit again yesterday it worked fine. I can still make calls via my pc connected, and I can receive calls on the phone, but I can't shout. Help, please!

Because of your incompetent customer service team and complete lack of response, I finally understood what was wrong. So for those of you experience similar problems, if you push the Green talk button, the phone assumes that you are trying to call using a fixed phone. I'm not one of these. Instead, you must click on the Skype logo button and choose Skype out to call. InGenius really consider the instructions does no such thing. Thank you Skype and thank you GE. ASmazing the customer service here. must of got a * beep * ing magic jack.

A non powered device (not plugged in, no batteries, etc.) cannot intervene in anything at all.  No power, no transmission, no interference. However, any electronic device can interfere to some extent with any other wireless signal, if it is running.

  • WRT54GL abandons the connection when you are using the 2.4 Ghz cordless phone.

I recently upgraded to a Linksys WRT54GL router and also hooked into a phone jack of magic using a 2.4 Ghz cordless phone. The interent connection is perfectly fine until I try to use the wireless phone.

Within 60 seconds, the completely wireless signal drops and interrupts the connection from the phone. About 30-60 seconds later the wireless signal comes back and sometimes the computer reconnects automatically.

  • Cordless phone interfere with wifi

anyway to solve this conflict without replacing phones?

    is not manual for wifi;

The Internet probably did - probably on the router / access point manufacturer's web page.

Another solution - change the router / a 5 GHz point-of course all your adapters wireless in systems would need to be able to use this frequency as well - so this isn't an option for the right market at the heart of access.  * smile *.

2.4 GHz is very common - you also want to avoid the use of microwaves between you and the access point and if you have what is called a "wall of water" (a wall in a structure containing several water pipes) which can also absorb most of the signal (actually slightly heat the water in the pipes - but probably not in any noticeable way - it's just that the water begins to vibrate over 2 GHz.)

  • OfficeJet 6480 problem w fax setup, will not pass through wireless phone

    OfficeJet 6480.

I took 20 minutes on the phone to find someone to get me to tell them what the problem is.

the first speaker gave me a ticket #8018531464

and passed me on the real tech support (I think).

Finally, I asked if I could please tell him what my problem.

He said yes and asked if f I have the black cord that comes with it.

I said 'yes' and he pulled the plug (1 line) on the 6480.

    He hung up on me!

hahaha, nope, the wwas cord connecting the cable-modem (TimeWarner) jack to the panasonic cordless phone.

in any case, I wasn't going to go through the introduction of 20 min. again, only to find out if he could answer the question.

    So here it is.

When I connect the black cable supplied with (for a single line I think) telephone jack of the cable modem (they provide my dgital phone, internet and Cable only ESA, no data dedicated line because I have to go through a flurry of faxes from time to time at home.)

then the decision-making ext 2 'lines' on the 6480, another cord goes to the single input based on the receiver of the wireless phone.

This is the problem, no tone came thru.

so, in this loop, I inserted the small adapter, single-jac + cord short. the output of the 6480.

and plugges regular there cord to the cradle of the wireless.

I had a tone. It seemed to work so far. So I went to bed, feeling successful, to continue to ensure that I had

useful with my 6480 fax equipment.

However the next day it did not get a dial tone on the phone.

I tried different combinations and then abandoned once more imn frustration.

I tried to get this thing to work for a few months now.

Once I had the parts of the loop of any kitchen. someone should sent the fax and the 6480 a o ring...

    ringtone and ringtone.

He hgave been other variants of this scenario which have brought to the point of frustration, I said why bother, I'll do it at work.

and not being able to devote a lot of time and energy with this easy start home.

now since I've been laid off, I shortly and more neceessitty to fix this problem.

I think that the signal gets to the 6480, because I run the test and all passses. There is no test for what I am referrring to and none combined on the 6480.

I went into the details for several reasons,

I can omit something: oh, Yes, the router is a lynksys router.

There is a nearby office using the wireless router and a laptop computer in the other room.

plus, you get a little history, to learn something on me, as you go through the same routine that I do with technical support. HP is not the only culprit of this approach non-customer ceneterd. But even that does not make this right.

I suggest, if some listen to those interested. This customer centered woould be to first know of me what is my problem, while you may, or may not, to solve. Then, you can collect the serial number, etc..

In addition, since you ask the serial number, I would like, as a customer, with that number clearly presented in a convenient place, say in my opinion as I llook at the machine.

Yes, I know, its probably on the back, probably there insert n close the caps. no doubt.

but I have to do a flshlight, reading glasses and get the machine our of the arrangement.a clever, bulky, puzzle - like real aesthetic. It's b

I hope to hear from anyone. Thank you.

Here is the document on the implementation for different kinds of digital lines (think VOIP is not listed) that could work however, the fax modules used in probably all HP AIO are for analogue telephone lines only (the kind of Ma Bell telephone lines that have nothing to do with computers).  So, you could be just out of luck unless you want to pay for another standard analog line in your home for the fax.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but makes no sense you need to beat your head in frustration on something that is not likely to ever work.  Oh and another thing - make absolutely sure that the telephone line is connected to the fax to send/receive is the one supplied with the printer, they are not your average phone cords that come with phones or you can pick up at the local super store.

  • Equium M50-216: cannot save or use the microphone or "phone entries

I have an Equium M50-216, with 1 GB of RAM & Centrino 1.7 GHz processor, running XP Home.

Without apparent reason, I am suddenly unable to use my SKYPE USB ' phone to talk. Audio output is perfect, however.

I also tried my helmet using the jack on the front of the laptop, with the same result.

I downloaded and installed the latest driver for the sound card, which is a Realtek AC97. I tried the test equipment of Windows, but there is no evidence of entry he built in sound recorder, audio, or in windows.
The device driver is properly enabled and reported no problems.

Is it a hardware problem - as it seems card works OK for output?
Is it a Windows problem - I can achieve a reformatting the drive & re-install of XP soon - it would help?

    Hello

As far as I understand your problem, you are not able to use the external microphone. Am I wrong?
You mean that it's a hardware problem, hmmm I n t think so.
To me, it looks like a wrong setting

Please check if the microphone is activated. This should be verified in the--> sound & audio devices Control Panel.
On the volume tab, press the Advanced button.

In the options settings, you can switch between the playback volume controls & record.
    Please check everything!

  • "Unable to connect to the Skype server" error on samsung wave 723

I got Skype Lite (or the Java thing, whatever we call it - does not allow calls - only CAT) on my Samsung Wave 723 for more than six months. Earlier this week he suddenly disconnected me and when I tried to log in again it showed this error "Unable to connect to the server of Skype." almost immediately after, I started signing in. I tried to reset the settings in Skype, my phone settings, I took out the battery and reset even WiFi. Then I tried to connect with a few other WiFis - still the same error. My friend has the same version of Skype Lite on his cell phone, and it works very well and without errors.

Anyone know how to fix this error? It is urgent, please.

Solved the problem on my phone. I just had to add the area code to my phone number in the connection menu.

@yousef8824: I downloaded my Skype Java one of those ages of links it is a. not useful at this time.

  • Questions about adding a Skype number

First timer here, here are my questions, I live in Thailand, former U.S. citizen, have for years had major problems with government agencies to reach me by phone. My billing address is in CA, my verified phone number is thai. I believe that with a Skype CA phone number I can eliminate these problems, correct? As the Government agencies and US automated banking systems cannot recognize a 11 digit number.

OK, so I did not have a first core of Galaxy attached to any diet, talk with a slot for sim card available. My intention is to buy a prepay sim for the available location local, and then add a Skype number. This Skype number wouldn't be usable wifi connected. A one year subscription is $52.25, but the site says nothing about other calling some how fees, or I've missed?

With the second sim with a Skype number, dedicated to the United States calls only, and I was able to differentiate between the two by which the sim was used to receive the call. I receive a message if a call was made for me if it is not connected to wifi?

Could I have the call transferred to my Thai number, if I were to buy call forwarding also?

I intend to wait until I have answers from the community before I do anything.

Thanks in advance for those who add their comments.

Hi, what you're trying to do is possible in principle, but you do not add the number of Skype to a SIM.

What happens, is that you install the Skype app on Google Store on your base premium Galaxy then receive calls and outgoing calls via the Skype in wifi or mobile data, if you add a local SIM card.

Check Skype calling subscriptions and distribution rates to the United States and the Thailand (subscriptions especially if you make a lot of calls or transfer calls to a number of Thai). If you buy a subscription or even 2 subscriptions (1 USA and 1 Thai) then you get a 50% discount when you buy a Skype number for 12 months, which is a good deal.

The application on your Galaxy will inform you of all the missed calls. I suggest you only install Skype on a PC too to see the full selection of purchase options in Tools/Options. You must configure the voicemail here and select this option to allow anyone to call your Skype number. Spend some time looking at all the options that are available to you.

You can transfer your Skype CA number to a number of Thai, if you wish and have a subscription or a credit to pay for it.

Perhaps start by installing Skype on your base premium Galaxy from the game store, sign in with your account and take a look at all the parameters available on the app. Setting most are in the app now except setting up voicemail that can be made on the program Skype on a PC.

  • can not make phone calls

I use Skype for phone calls to phone numbers in the United States. After downloading a new version of Skype I can't make phone calls more. The call button is not active. The account is closed to date. Help, please.

Is your login on Skype online status? The status icon next to your name should be green with a white check mark inside. Try to change the status by using the drop-down arrow next to this icon.

  • Skype do not sync.

I installed it on my Mac (OS Mavericks of current) and an Android phone, the Skype application. Also, I use Skype for the Web. The problem I have is that Skype for the Web and my Skype app phones are sync, but is not the desktop version. The last messages it shows are days ago and recent focus groups are not displayed. I tried to uninstall/reinstall, siging in and out, etc., and that did nothing.

This has been fixed by a member of Skype support.

  • 6.18: others can not hear me after a minute of a call on Skype versions 6 and higher

I went back to version 5.10.0.116 as for versions 6 and upwards, I can't talk. After about a minute of a call, I hear others without a problem, but they can not hear me or hear me in staccato (and it's the same for calls to Skype-to-Skype and Skype for phone calls). My computer runs on Windows 7, I have Norton internet security. I checked and re-checked the firewall settings and Skype is on his list. And I did it for each new edition of Skype 6 and higher version, as I had the same problem with all of them. Messaging works very well.

Now, I received the message that the 5.10 version is removed... If I can't fix the problem with the version 6, I will not be able to use Skype, which is great annoying.

    Hey kerojarun,

I join the diagnostic file, still do not have have a chance to make headlines. The attachment is a zip file containing the diagnostic log. I had to rename it to jpg, Portal refused to tie it as a zip, saying that the type of file did not match the extension.

Regarding the log files, do I understand correctly that you would need to log version 6.18, not those of version 5.10 I currently use?

  • Failure to re - open Skype icon

I have successfully set up a Skype account and the Skype icon sitting on my desk.

I made a phone call to a non-Skype successfully phone number also.

About a week later, I clicked on the Skype icon to try a Skype to Skype call and it does not open.

Then he bounced around on the desktop at the top of the page as if it were about to open - before disappearing all together.

Now, I have no freedom to use Skype.

Question: does a landline requires a separator to stop calls stall with Skype the same way that you need to have a phone and the internet hooked up at the same time?

It seems to be a similar reaction to what I had when the phone has been interfering with the internet.

Yes, I got it resolved - well without going through this forum. Basically, I had to do all my updates and then uninstall and reinstall Skype again.

    Seems to work now
