    Hello

The laptop should generally run without problem after the update of the BIOS. The new update of the BIOS is improved and I put t know why you need an older version of BIOS.

I doubt that the questions that appear on your laptop might be linked to the new BIOS.

However, if you need an earlier version of BISO then you can also contact the ASP in your county and ask for these files.

    Good luck

    What should do?
Can I download anything to support the problem or I can't help with that?

Thanks in advance for your answer

    Hello

In my opinion the game does not work because of the problem of compatibility with the graphics card or graphics card driver.

    Part of the error message says this;
+ The card does not support 1.1 shaders your graphics card does not support Pixel Shaders or Vertex Shaders. +

The minimum requirement of the game is a Nvidia GeForce 2 GPU.

Is that your laptop uses an Intel graphics card and I think that the performance of the GPU it s not good enough to play this game

But maybe an update of the graphics card driver could help but to be honest I don't see big risks to play this game.

    Good bye

    2. at the end of the recovery procedure, you will see message
Please, remove the recovery media and press [CTRL] + [ALT] + [delete] to restart

    3. when the screen goes black, press and hold the F12 key. When the Qosmio logo appears, release the F12 key.
4 Select the CD/DVD-ROM drive (CD icon) and press ENTER
    5. after 5 minutes, the copy process is complete. The message that the media update of software, please do not remove it. Hit any key to stop displays
    Press any key to stop.

    Hello:

Unfortunately, the video card is unable to be upgraded in your model specifications, or most any other laptop by the way.

The integrated video chip is soldered on the motherboard and it uses system memory. Video chips even discreet are normally part of the motherboard and cannot be changed.

I hope that I put enough information on my system to help to my request for help. The problem has been ongoing for some time, but has become more common, that it shows by the pc is crawling along at less than snail PACE, or freezing. In the upper part of the casing, inbetween card reader locations that a red light, then it started to blink, then she stays all the time. I tried to reinstall Vista a few months ago and everything was going well for a while, then it started and got worse, it took 10 hours to reinstall Vista on reformatted lecteurC and he hooked for hours on end scene I have disabled the power, he left all night and the next day I reformatted the C drive even once, he did finally install Vista, this time after about 4 hours, but it's always freezing etc. Have you tried sfc scannow result was without windows integrity violations I've run Seatools and he said that some areas were difficult to read I tried checkdisk, running for 14 hours always on 14% of Platinum 5 my gut feeling is that the C drive has had, no complaints because he did a lot of work. My thought is, as there are 2 hard drives that the second was not very useful, I could remove the current C drive and move the drive D and now in the C drive of slot and reinstall Vista there? My thoughts are that if I can do this and it works, then I could buy another drive to put in the D slot, do not want to waste money if it turns out not to hard dive. Of course, that would be much easier (in theory in my head who knows nothing) would just swap the drive letters. Now, when you're all finished rolling on the floor laughing hysterically (which I probably deserve), can someone offer me some ideas, suggestions, or help please? I would be very grateful, because I'm very close to throwing the pc out the window.

Sorry for him was this post looks like, I use a little pathetic netbook, I have taken ages typing gently, but look at what happened to it... Sorry

The cost factor, an appropriate player motivated this answer because of your VIsta operating system.

You must copy the data files on the D drive to C drive.  Although RAID0 conforms to the standards of the AHCI, it is better to change to AHCI in the BIOS. See here that will allow a single hard drive. (The old D disk be reformatted and installation of the OS). In the end, you will need an adapter (like this one) to convert the old disk USB file copying, files of data back to the newly installed C drive.  Such an adpater can be found on Amazon.

I would have been back sooner, but I'm distracted.

  • Question of graphics Dell Studio XPS 8100

I plan to upgrade my desktop computer Dell Studio XPS 8100 with a new graphics card, so that I can play new games such as Skyrim and Star Wars the old republic.

Can someone tell me which of these cards is best for this purpose, corresponds to my computer and if other changes are needed (ideally no)?

    EVGA GTX 550 VGA (GDDR5, PCI-Express, 2 GB)
    Sapphire 6750 (PCI Express, DDR3, 2 GB)
    Sapphire 6790 (PCI-Express, GDDR5, 1 GB)
PALIT GTX 550 Ti (GDDR5, PCI Express, 1 GB)

    Thanks in advance,

    Sikkaech

Based on the recommended for Skyrim card, you will need to go with the HD 6790 or GTX 550 it.  However, your biggest problem is food that is only 350 watts.  For all these cards, a higher power is recommended by the manufacturer.  The HD 6790 is the best on the list with the GTX 550 Ti in 2nd.  I'll take the other two on your list because they would fall the recommended card, but they would always play the games.   I would recommend if you upgrade the power supply to go with a unit of minimum mark of 500 watts with the necessary connections.

Skyrim recommended card: 1 GB RAM NVIDIA or AMD ATI video card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 260 or higher; ATI Radeon 4890 or higher).  Old video card then the ones I showed would be comparable.

If you choose not to change your diet, a GTS 450 or HD 6750 can work.  I don't see much interest to get a card of 2 GB to this level.  It's going to be better than GDDR3 memory GDDR5.

  • Card graphic Inspiron 660 recommendations

    Hello

I'm looking for any recommendation for graphics cards of the Inspiron 660. Preference that the card will be just straight pop and help me to run Battlefield 3.

    Thank you

    Ronak

    Hello

The Inspiron 660 has following options available for the graphics Chipset:

    • Integrated Intel HD graphics chipset.
    • nVIDIA GeForce GT 620 (per round).
    • AMD Radeon HD 7570.
    • NVIDIA GeForce 640GT (for Mini Tower).

In 660 Inspiron power is 300W for mini tower and Slim Tower is 220W.

This is the graphics card for Battlefield 3 requirement:

Minimum: ATI Radeon 3870 or more, nVidia GeForce 8800 GT or higher.
Recommended: nVidia GeForce GTX 560 or ATI Radeon 6950.

For graphics cards above, the energy supply needs are superior to present food in the computer. You may need to upgrade the power supply, if the graphics card is upgraded.

For any information feel free to contact me.

  • Requirement of the graphics card dedicated for BB10 simulator

Hi, the blackvery website developer, I found the infromation that BB10 Simulator requires NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or higher to an ATI Radeon HD 2600 or higher graphic. This affects when even if the pc has the graphics card integrated rather than required. I mean I can run the Simulator very well, but this will affect anyway if I run an opengl project in the Simulator? Thank you.

The BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha Simulator uses OpenGL 2.0.  If your graphics card does not support it you can have problems (some only show a black screen).

If you see a black screen you can try the software rendering mode (choose option 2 before boots simulator), but you could still see some rendering issues using this mode.  In addition, it is going to be slower.
