gel mouse Vista

the mouse freezes vista.  Everything started to happen

Hello

If your mouse uses third 3rd-party drivers look at the manufacturer site and install (or reinstall) later
(for example MS Optical, Laser or LogiTech as examples).

What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you have NEVER
on this machine, including those you have uninstalled (they leave leftovers behind which can cause
strange problems).

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

  • Mouse Vista freeze for mobsync.exe (Microsoft Sync Center)

    Hello

My Vista system had mouse freeze for 10 or 15 seconds every few minutes for some time now, too long for me to start simply undo the restore points. I read what is on the net about others who have had the same problem and tried many patches, but without success to get rid of or even change the problem.

I have a MS optical blue USB mouse, running on an ultimate Vista update install on a Dell workstation. Gel mouse is often coincides with the hard disk activity, so I tried to decommissioning and anything that may run intermittently the hard disk in the background, but once again without any effect on the problem of indexing.

Recently, I brought up the Task Manager and left open. A few minutes later when gel mouse happened again, I saw "mobsynce.exe" appears in the list of processes, and then disappear a few seconds after the mouse resurrected itself. That's what happens whenever the mouse crashes, at least on my system.

I had never heard "Microsoft Sync Center", and read on this subject on MS gave me not a lot better understand why it's popping in and out, as if it were. I tried to turn off all the files and readers, without changing the frequency of freezing.

MS wrote of Sync Center can not be disabled or uninstalled. I have not all attached to my machines, I know mobile devices. I am on an intranet home, and I have the HP MediaSmart Server on this network, as well as some other machines.

In Sync Center, I have nothing that could be stopped to be synchronized, no evidence of errors, etc. Its only function on my system, seems to be to freeze my dozens of mouse of times every day.<|:-)>

Anyone know about this feature from the center of synchronization and how to behave and leave my mouse only or even what the devil Sync Center is supposed to be for? Is there something to do with it being a USB mouse that makes the Center Synchronization think to check for "synchronization"?

As part of the 'trying everying that everyone has suggested on the net regarding the mouse Vista freezing problem', I have installed/uninstalled drivers for this mouse mouse, but also using some generic driver for Vista is here. No change to anything. I have not tried switching to the a PS/2 port, but only because what I read just said he is indifferent to the problem.

Thanks for your help with this.

    For all the world's information...

I rebuilt the USB stack and introduced to the mouse backwards to a USB mouse. I experienced the same problem as before, gel apparently slightly worse, which makes the mouse unusable. The only solution that worked in my situation is plug the USB mouse with a PS2 port adapter and use it that way. There are still sometimes 'breaks' but not gel, and they may have other causes.

  • Page and mouse gel with Vista

I have a HP laptop that I bought when Vista came out. I had a problem with the mouse and gel page, all functions stop working, even the power button. The only way to make it work again is to the United Nations, connect the power supply and the battery and then replace the battery. This happens once or twice a month and has always been a problem, I have not been able to solve. Is this a Vista problem? Can someone help me?

    Ricktify,
Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Answers community forum.

I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer as this looks like a hardware problem.  If a unit is relatively new then you should have the manufacturer take care of it.

You can try running the tests on the system to see is there is a software problem causing it to freeze.
    Run the System File Checker:
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
Right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
At the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:
    sfc/scannow
When the analysis is complete, test to see if the problem you are experiencing is resolved.

Try to do a check disk:
You can help solve some computer problems and improve the performance of your computer by making sure that your hard disk has no errors.

    1. open the computer by clicking the Start button, click computer.

    2. right click on the hard drive you want to check, and then click Properties.

    3. click on the Tools tab and then, under check for errors, click check now.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will simply report a problem, but not to fix them.

To perform a full disk check, select search and attempt to recover bad sectors. This scan is trying to find and repair physical errors on the hard drive itself, and it may take much longer to complete.

To check for errors file and the physical errors, select both automatically fix errors in file system and search for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.

    4. click on start.

Depending on the size of your hard disk, this may take several minutes. For best results, do not use your computer for any other tasks while it checks errors.

Note: If you select automatically errors in file system of fix for a disc that is used (for example, the partition that contains Windows), you will need to reschedule the disk check for the next time you restart your computer.

If these things do not work, you should contact the manufacturer.
    Thank you

  • Aspire gel mouse/Touchpad V7 - 482PG when connect power cord (Windows 10)

    Greetings,

I'm having this strange problem in my V7 after upgrade to Windows 10:

When I plug the power cord of the keyboard and the touchpad and mouse gel (I use a Microsoft Bluetooth Mouse and touchpad in my V7 is a Synaptic).

-If I unplug the power cord, all thaws.

-If I plug the cord by moving the cursor, either with the mouse or the keyboard , then they don't freeze and I can work normally.

-Of course if I start the laptop with the power cord already plugged, everything works normally and if I unplug the power cord, there is no freeze.

The problem occurs only when the laptop runs on batteries and I plug in the power cord and the only solution is to move the mouse while plugging in the power cord. It's really annoying.

I installed all the drivers on the Acer support and page also tried several combination of new drivers older drivers etc. This never happened in Windows 8.1.

I don't know what else to try. I hope someone could help with this issue.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Miguel

  • Gel mouse

Once a week, when I first turn my computer every day or when I do a reboot for some reason, the mouse is frozen in the center of the screen.  I have to use the Tab key to turn the computer off and then turn it back on.  It is no reason that when this happens.  Sometimes this will happen twice a day.  Sometimes, it will not happen for several days.  But it will happen eventually.  I'm running Vista 32 bit on HP Media Center PC.  What is the cause for this?

The first thing I would look at would be the mouse driver: are they up-to-date?

Also what is a wireless mouse or a wired mouse? If it's a wireless mouse, try moving the adapter wireless closer to the mouse if possible.

  • Portege M400 gel with Vista - Solution!

    Hello

If you have vista on M400 and the experience of freezing, just go to Intel and install the latest driver http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df-external/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=2301&lang=eng

  • Keyboard causes Vista hang on startup/gel when it is plugged

So I seem to have a rather unusual problem.

When I boot vista and my Wired USB keyboard Logitech is plugged, Vista hangs at a black screen after that bar loading screen and my optical USB Wired mouse green turns off (in safe mode it seems to hang crcdisk.sys).  If I don't have my wired keyboard but I have not my wired mouse Vista starts fine but when I try to plug in the keyboard Vista crashes and I can't move the cursor.  It doesn't seem to be a work autour: if I leave the mouse and the keyboard unplugged and plug them in to at about the same time after that Vista starts, both work very well.  In fact, I can unplug the keyboard and reconnect it back with no problem.

I recently bought a new hard drive and had to install Vista on it.  This problem appeared to occur at the time, I installed SP1 and persisted in my current state to SP2.

I tried to update the drivers while the keyboard works by both windows as well as search download driver of Logitech Web site.  I do not have another keyboard I could try, but it worked well before re-installing my Vista and works fine on my laptop (which is running XP).

    Any ideas?

Of course, looks like it's maybe the keyboard if the drivers are up-to-date.

again, the question was better but once again tonight.

I have windows xp pro, acer power non-portable pc, ps2 requires laser (not wireless) mouse.

at random times and programs, they will work and the mouse may hang and then keyboard. Sometimes I can take the mouse out of the back and use it in another form. Sometimes he stop and go in that direction or not responded on the card, even if the light is on. I heard today 3 beeps of the tower and the keyboard and the mouse has frozen.  If the keyboard is blocked so the only thing I can do is turn it off and restart. I don't think not that it's too hot because the problem may start immediately or later. the Device Manager in the Control Panel indicates these 2 works correctly and I can't find a place to make sure market. I clean the heat sink.  I'm not real smart but suggestions. What do the beeps mean.

  • Satellite P300 - mouse gel and ATIKMDAG error - resolved

    If it helps someone...

I had a problem with my Satellite P300... The mouse used to freeze from time to time for 3-4 seconds each time which was very annoying... and I used to occasionally get an error atikmdag.
I searched the forums, but I couldn't find a definitive answer to my problem.

    Ultimately, here's what I did:

I've updated the two anf BIOS ATI drivers and Vista (mine is homefamily premium 32). It seems that this has helped solve the problem ATIKMDAG. But I still had my mouse freeze from time to time. Someone told me I should try updating my audio drivers (Connexant) which I did and it worked. No more 'gel '.

This means that these problems ATIKMDAG or mouse are not hardware issues because I was told first by technical services...

    Concerning

Thank you very much for this report.
As you know on the Internet you can find various forums where a lot of people are saying about error ATIKMDAG but offered solutions are different and will not help everyone. I'm glad to hear that your problems are solved.

I have the Satellite P300 in front of me and I'm happy with it. After a year now, I still the original image of recovery preinstalled on it (of course changed a bit) and it runs great.

Just a question: do you have maybe picked up info on the new Satellite P500? Great laptop with screen 18. I think that this will be my next. It you please?
