generic host Win32 error message

After receiving my card generic host win32 error message external sound stops working and I have to reinstall

Did you completely remove all traces or uninstall McAfee from your system? If you no longer have a subscription, I suggest to uninstall COMPLETELY and the execution of the following set up:

The following programs are ALL free and work JUST fine:

http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php

This will check for malware, AND errors registry key, or if most of the forums said. >.>

http://SUPERAntiSpyware.com/

You can download the free version and it will check for spyware as well. I recommend using BOTH of the foregoing in collaboration with:

http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

It is a LARGE, FREE antivirus program, which works VERY well with the two above...

Remember, before installing UNINSTALL it above ANY other anti-virus software.

In addition, if McAfee is SOMETHING like Norton, you can see if they have a removal tool on their Web site.

Do as he says.

AND, if you don't have it already, installed service pack 3, install it. SP2 is no longer supported:
