Genius MaxFighter F - 17 usb gamepad

Windows 7 - Code 43

Not recognize the joystick?
No drivers?
Help, please

Hi Bobby,.

1. it worked before?

2. you are unable to connect other USB devices?

You can try to connect the device to a different USB port and check. Alternatively, you can connect to another computer to check if it detects is.

I couldn't find any information with the compatibility with Windows 7. Refer to this article

However, you can perform the steps and check.

Method 1:

Run the tool material and devices and check to see if that fixes the problem:

If your computer is having problems with a recently installed device or other hardware, try to use the hardware and peripheral troubleshooting tool to solve the problem. It checks the common issues of interest and ensures that a new device or hardware connected to your computer has been installed correctly.

Check out this link to do the same thing:

Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

Method 2:

Must update the driver manually from the website of the manufacturer of the device, unfortunately I could not find the driver for the specific device.

I suggest you to contact the manufacturer for further support. http://www.geniusnetusa.com/wSite/SP

Hope this information helps. Response with status so that we can help you.

"I think that this problem doesn't exist on my laptop because when I plug to my laptop that is running Windows XP, I have USB device failed"

AH ha! A different story of your title and the way in which the 1st post read.

Go to Device Manager, while the controller is connected to a USB port
(have btw - you tried a different port, if it is available?) and to find the name of the controller to Human Interface Devices.
If there is a symbol such as an X or! next to the name of the controller, there is a problem. The link below gives some troubleshooting information.
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/133240

If there is any indicator of problem the controller probably the proper drivers. You can try to R / clicking on the name of the device and try the update driver software option.
If this does not help and there is no software driver for the controller that supports
XP (WIn7 too if you want to be able to create the profiles assignment button) on the
to MFG web site, then you can be out of luck.
Is the controller a great name - Logitech Belkin/Razor, MS XBOX brand, etc.
I'm not aware of controllers that will work on Win7 and does not work on XP.
but the industry of the PC is like that, I wouldn't be surprised if some very new
controllers are not backward compatible with XP.

  • How to activate USB Gamepad (Frontech JIL 1731 USB Vibration gamepad) vibration in Windows 8?

I have a Frontech JIL 1731 USB Vibration gamepad and it works very well with windows 8, with the exception of the vibration function.

The drivers I have are probably old and incompatible, and I am not able to find another source for the latest drivers.

The manufacturer's site seems to have a malicious content that makes my antivirus does not permit a visit that site and I don't want to take the risk, so I would appreciate it if windows could provide me with the latest drivers in some way or a workaround to enable vibration feedback functionality.

After installing the drivers and visiting the Control Panel, I get all the tabs in the properties of pop - up box that appears after you click "Configure a joystick" option and clicking Properties. It shows all the options to activate the vibration.

So, I would appreciate if someone could provide a workaround solution.

    Thank you

  • Reading USB gamepad?

LabView is a VI to read a USB Joystick/game controller.  Y at - it no support to achieve in CVI?

I don't need anything more complex than the X & Y mark positions and detect keys.

Google found me some MSDN info "Raw Device Input", but when I try to save the WM_INPUT messages with:

    RAWINPUTDEVICE Rid[2];

    Rid[0].usUsagePage = 0x01; Rid[0].usUsage = 0x05; Rid[0].dwFlags = 0;                 // adds game padRid[0].hwndTarget = 0;

    Rid[1].usUsagePage = 0x01; Rid[1].usUsage = 0x04; Rid[1].dwFlags = 0;                 // adds joystickRid[1].hwndTarget = 0;

    if (RegisterRawInputDevices(Rid, 2, sizeof(Rid[0])) == FALSE) {    //registration failed. Call GetLastError for the cause of the error}

My compilation fails as my SDK installation seems to be missing something as including windows.h is not enough and the RAWINPUTDEVICE typedef and RegisterRawInputDevices prototypes are missing.

    -wally.

a quick search in MSDN for RegisterRawInputDevices() says:

    Minimum version of DLL User32.dll
Header Declared in Winuser.h, include Windows.h
    Import library User32.lib
    Minimum operating systems Windows XP

This means that you must add user32.lib to your project and it does not work unless you have Windows XP or newer. the Windows SDK that comes with CVI 8 from Windows 2000, so it's not going to define these functions: you must update to 9 CVI or download a recent Windows SDK on the microsoft site.

However, take a look at this section of the Windows development kit that describes a longer way in charge (and longer) use of joysticks. Some functions in this section are as old as windows 95.

  • 'No driver found' when you connect a USB gamepad controller in Win 7 64

    Hello.

I have a new PC running Windows 7 Home Premium and I'm having an unusual problem.  When I plugged my Razer Onza controller to the system, it was read and worked fine.  Then I installed the Windows Xbox 360 software for 64-bit systems.  My controller suddenly stopped working.  I unplugged it and when I plugged back it it, I get the error "no driver found".  I decided to try with a different joystick, power, and I get the same error.  I'm frustrated because I have that Windows looks for updated drivers and says none are available.  I uninstalled the 360 software and still nothing.  Any help on how to fix this?  Microsoft 360 controllers I only are wireless and I can't buy more because I have several.

Restoration of a previous update fix this?  Unistalling my USB drivers and let Windows start from scratch?  Please, any reasonable suggestion would be good.

    Thank you.

Windows is probably not to use windows update to search for a driver, here is a link that will show you how to enable it.

  • Add a USB joystick

Hi, I am a user Veristand 2011 SP1 and I'm working on a project thar runs on PXI. I need to control certain channels with a USB joystick connected to localhost. To do this, I created a device that is customized by using the simple tool of custom device and acquisition of joystick LabView blocks. VeriStand I created two targets: the first, running on localhost read the input from the gamepad, the second, in the course of running on pharlap, does the calculations. My problem is that the only way I found to connect the two targets is to add a reflective memory network. Because I don't need to sync and you do not have the reflective memory modules, there is another way to link the two targets? Better yet, is there a way to directly control the target pharlap with the usb joystick connected to a windows pc?

    Thank you

    Francesco

If you already use a Labview program to read USB gamepad control, you should be able to use the API Veristand in Labview to write the (double) joystick values of your model in Veristand input channel. This is done via the ethernet connection.   Use the API of Labview Veristand to open a ref of the workspace, then do a write-up on a channel or multiply veristand channels.  You will need to know the exact path of your channel veristand.  I hope this helps.

  • Gamepad not detected

I will describe the situation in detail.

First of all, I've upgraded to Windows 7.  When I had installed my games, I tried to add my Joystick.  I discovered that Windows 7 does not support the standard game, only USB port devices.  No problem, I have a cable converter that allows me to use my Joystick gameport on a USB port.  I plugged and got nothing.  No sound, nothing.  I tried searching in the menu devices, the game controller menu, even the Device Manager, but it is nowhere.  It is as if she is not at all connected.

I thought it would be that the joystick is too old and not supported, but it is a Microsoft Sidewinder 3D Pro and it is apparently supported.

I thought that maybe the USB port was defective, but I have the same problem no matter where I connect it, and other devices operate normally on all ports.  I thought that perhaps the adapter was defective, but my Gamepad works to use it.

In the end, I went out and bought a Saitek Aviator USB gamepad.  I connect it and... nothing.  Exactly the same problem as the Sidewinder.

The drivers are up to date.  The port works, the joystick works on my old computer, the adapter works with the Gamepad and all of them are supported by Windows.  I am at a loss.  What else could it be?

    Hello

I'm unable to connect my controller to HPalTE 21-K100. Although the directions left and right work but the buttons do not work. I use a normal usb gamepad. I would like to know if it is compatiable or I can move to another we work completely. Also mention the list of controllers that are compatiable

    Hello

I haven't tried a USB gamepad but used the Nyko Playpad Pro Bluetooth for Android on Slate 21 and successful, but as mentioned, it really depends on the game factory support.

For game support, app TegraZone of Nvidia did a good job of categorizing what games works well with a controller and which don't.  It does not all games, but it is a good start.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello eHamid,

Thank you for posting.  You can consult the manufacturer of your gamepad for Vista compatible drivers.  In regards to the games, you can check to see if there are updates to update or fixes for them.  I also have NFS Undercover and it had horrible frame rates until I had the patch for it.

  • Why Labview crash when I try to use a joystick?

I'm reading a Logic3 USB gamepad gamepad in Labview.

Whenever I try to run any of the VI in ' Functions/connectivity/Input device' (IE access HID as keyboard/mouse/joystick through direct x) then Labview either crashes or I get the error message:

    -2000000008

    ERR_INVALIDDEVICEINDEX
Please check if the device is properly connected. Please make sure the deviceIndex passed to initDevice.vi is correct.

I have a new windows 7 (64-bit) PC with x 11 direct runs Labview 2009 and until recently, I was running Labview 8.6 on my old windows xp 32-bit pc and these VI has worked well.

I know that x 11 direct sees the connected joystick I checked via the command run "dxdiag".

    Please help - thanks

You cannot access a DLL 64 bit from a 32-bit process, and vice versa. Actually, in the other direction, it is possible via a workaround solution that involves communication interprocessue, but this is an advanced topic.

Remember that you can install LabVIEW 64 bits for your specific version of LabVIEW. The license allows you to run the 64-bit or 32-bit. LabVIEW 2009 64-bit was not on the DVD, but you can download it from the site of NOR.

  • Sudenly microphone not working not properly, might have something to do with the Realtek HD Audio

    Hello!

I used my microphone every day of work for some time now and I had no problem. Indeed, the audio quality was really good. However, something must have happened yesterday because now the quality is really really bad. Levels are low, my voice is distorted, sometimes it even works at all.

I messed around with the levels and microphone amp and everything is the same as before. I used to have my microphone attached to about 94% without any boost and the quality was very good.

I think that I managed to reduce the problem to the audio thing Realtek HD, more precisely the improvements. I have a few options in the effects section. Speech recognition, Conference and personal appeal. I tried all of this, and while they all look horribly bad, you can hear the difference between these options.

It's only when I use "turn the sound effects off all" I get a few audio decent. The levels are normal but there is a lot of background noise and ultimately, I won't be able to use it like this to work.

I went on the Realtek site and I downloaded their latest HD Audio Manager. Although this seems to be a newer version than I had before, the problem is still there.

Has anyone deals with this kind of thing before? Is there something I can do?

I wonder if I might replace the DD Realtek Audio Manager altogether. There may be a few alternatives out there that I don't know.

    Thank you very much!

EDIT: I connected just a USB audio interface external that I have. I have this before since I well there is no reason not to work perfectly, but I couldn't get decent levels out of it either. I used my phone as a microphone, since I have no other option on the spot, then maybe this isn't the best test.

The only thing I did differently between Friday, when my microphone was OK and Monday, when he stopped working was plug an old USB gamepad. Who has messed up my touch screen, in the sense that it was not to accept any entry more. I just restarted my computer and everything was fine, but could he have messed up my audio also? There is no reason for that to happen...

A final note, while an update Windows 8.1 could solve this problem, it isn't really an option for me. I am a user of Pro Tools, and from what I can tell, the 8.1 update would put an end to this.

    Hi Pantalonsfancie,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Here in this scenario, I would like to know some information about this problem so that we can help you further.

1 are you question in the face of any audio recording?

    2. you use any specific record software o record audio?

    3. that you get any error code or error message when you use this particular record software?

    4. have you checked is that the problem occurs with a different microphone?

I would try the following and see if it works for you.

    Method 1:

If you use a third-party recording software, then try the sound recorder in Windows 7 and check if it helps.

See the following article from Microsoft Help to record audio with sound recorder.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/record-audio-with-sound-recorder

    Method 2:

Try installing the latest drivers, chipset and audio from the Web site of the manufacturer of the computer or from Windows Update and check if the problem persists.

See the following Microsoft Help article for updating a hardware driver that is not working.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Update-driver-hardware-ISN

  • Intermittent problem "USB not detected" Genius Traveler Laser 315 mouse.

Original title: the USB mouse not detected

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My problem is this: I have a Genius Traveler Laser 315 mouse which I brought last summer and it worked perfectly on my laptop. Recently I bought a new laptop, on which the mouse no longer works.
The problem is very awqward, because the behavior of the mouse on the new laptop is completely random: repeatedly he actually worked perfectly when it is plugged-, but most of the time (e.g. After restart of the operating system or unplug the mouse and in him plugging back) it didn't. This behavior is even more strange, because on my old laptop and several others, the mouse still works perfectly.
My opinion is that the problem is with USB drivers or a mouse, but when I tryied another mouse and disk external DRIVE on the new computer laptop, they both worked very well. I even copied oriented drivers on my old laptop to the new usb, hoping that I could solve the problem in this way, but the result was the same (on two laptops, the OS is Windows 7).
Another possibility is that one of the sons of the mouse cable was broken, but I passed that, too, because I've tried twisting the rope as much as I could while he worked on the new laptop and it has always worked well.
The USB on the new laptop computer Sockets all work (I tried all).

I know that the simple solution is to buy another mouse, but rather what's wrong with it (or my new laptop) to spend the money to replace a mouse I know it's functional, because I feel that this money would be lost, I have no guarantee that the new mouse work (if I wanted to buy a new (, I'd still go for a genius) and, for that matter, I would be really happy if I could solve this annoying problem.

If you have an idea where is or where could be the problem, or how could determine to hit or where I could get more help, I would be grateful for any comments.

More details that might be useful:

-on all laptops I tried the mouse of the operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate (and my old BONES and my new laptop was installed on the same CD)
-the old laptop (on which the mouse works) is an Acer Aspire 5630
-the new laptop is a Dell Inspiron N5010

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OK, sorry, this is the mail that I sent to the support of the engineering team. But it provides a good background.

I tried all the 'classic' fastening means (I'm not really sure, but I think that I also reinstalled windows AFTER seeing the problem)

    Any ideas? Thank you!

EDIT: I mean REALLY not detected, not even as an unrecognized device by the "undetected".

I have tried them all. The only strange thing that happened was when I opened the mouse: strangely, he started working beautiful (I disconnected and reconnected it several times and it has continued to work). Of course, the miracle did not last, but at least now I'm sure that there is a problem with the sons of the mouse - I think that one of them might be slightly broken somewhere inside the mouse, or immediately after the release of the cord there. Now, the question is why is my new laptop the only one who refuses to detect the mouse.

The new most plausible problem is far beyond the scope of this forum, I'm going to look elsewhere, but I thank you again for your time and patience!
