  It has nothing to do with where you live. You are on a 32-bit system and LR CC is only available in 64-bit, so CC provides the previous version. It is that easy. You can read the system requirements and then act accordingly.

  Thank you for your response. I solved my problem. I found that my first action to download the 13 trial of PSE to the wrong machine and movement of the object ".exe" to another machine has been the basis of my original problem. I did it successfully in the past with other programs. However, this 'trial' is not like any other "trial" I have worked with. From that point my problems have increased exponentially. Adobe PSE 13 "trial" is "the program" with a special treatment which will probably kick when I finally hit my purchased serial number. I've worked with most "trial" programs are usually separate and apart from the 'real' program, in that, you get the 'real' program on disk or a separate download when you decide to buy. I decided to start at the beginning of the first, remove ALL previous copies and versions of PSE read full instructions (several times) on the Adobe web site and then download the trial on the machine I use to work on my photos. This time the download went faster. When it is finished, I checked "trial". Therefore, all subsequent steps went well. I use the 'trial' with great ease and loving every minute I spend with the program. It's everything I hoped it would be and much more. My frustration has disappeared and I am once again a happy camper of Adobe PSE. Initially, I was confused by the term 'upgrade' which meant to me that what I bought was going to overlay and 'upgrade' PES 12 files I already had on my computer.  Given that my problems were really caused by my misunderstanding of the Adobe 59(1)(c) 'upgrade' I apologize for my mistakes and let you know that I'm always engaged Adobe fan.
